I highly recommend Peter and the team at Advanced Roofing and Construction! My roof was catastrophically damaged when a tree was laid across the width of the house in wind shear event, collapsing part of the structure beyond simple repair. Because it’s a mid-century modern house with a roof of unique composition, other roofing companies had never seen or worked with the material and either were not willing to undertake the repair or wanted to change the silhouette to accommodate their preferred materials and methods. This wasn’t the case with Advanced. They were familiar with both the materials and process needed and assured me that it could be fixed. In fact, t required an entire tear-off and they restored the roof better than I could have hoped. Every worker who was at the house was professional and courteous. The efforts made to clean up at the end of each day, even when the job was not yet done, were admirable. And the tradesmen engaged to repair the interior damage were efficient and were true craftsmen. They absolutely gave me my house back.

Advanced roofing originally replaced our roof 4-6 years ago. During a really bad wind storm, three shingles came off which I found on the ground. I contacted Peter in the evening and he had someone out early the next morning. The shingles were replaced and everything was fixed immediately. We have been extremely happy with Peter and advanced roofing and have recommended them many times. Fixing this problem promptly increased my satisfaction with this company.

I had received the contact of Peter from Advanced Roof from a friend. And as it turns out to be, I would recommend him to all my friends. We had received two other quotes to replace the roof and we found ALR to be very competitive. We were impressed by their ability to complete the job from start to finish in stipulated day and the efficient communication with their sales and admin team. He also went out of his way to work insurance and get everything settled. My insurance was a pain, but Peter handled it very well. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking to replace their roof or siding.

I originally had my roof replaced in 2015 by Advanced Roofing and was very happy with the work. Recently, in July 2020 I noticed a leak in the roof. I contacted Advanced and spoke to Rick who was very helpful, even though I had my roof work done over 5 years ago. A couple of days later Rick sent out a service tech who checked my roof and took care of the leak. Thank you to Rick and Advanced for their help!

Advanced Roofing Team Construction replaced our roof about 10 years ago and did a great job at a great price. A few days ago, I called Peter because we had some damage to a couple of shingles. The first thing the following morning, Peter sent a technician to our home and he quickly replaced the shingles which were damaged by squirrels. Advanced Team has replaced roofs for several neighbors and family members and all have been very satisfied. Advanced Team will be there with great service for their clients long after the sale is completed. Very highly recommended!!!

In May 2019 we had a very bad hail storm. Advanced Roofing Team was working on neighbors houses so, I called them. They scheduled a inspection, was on time and professional. They were great to work with and really know their trades. They took care of all my shingled roofs on property. Im really late with the review but better late than never.Last year when we had that hail storm in bolingbrook and surrounding areas.A few days later Pat (Patrick Scully) from Advanced Roofing came to my house he explained a few things and than he told me something that first surprised me but its also why i agreed to have them work on my house he said "what if you can get a new roof and it won't cost you anything all you have to do is call your insurance and make a claim let me know when the adjuster will be coming out and ill do the rest".So i did just that a week or so later they both came looked at the damage and left.A few days later a truck pulled up and unloaded all the materials for the roof.A week or so later Pat's guys came and started working on the roof they completed 99% of the job that day and two guys came the next morning to finish up the rest.A few days later few more guys came and installed new gutters and downspouts.I also had some siding damaged but Pat told me if they can't find matching siding anywhere insurance will pay to have all of the siding replaced and it would take a few weeks for them to try to find the matching one.About a month later few guys came with matching siding and replaced all of the damaged siding and since than we've had heavy rain and now its winter so there is snow and there is no problems no leaks no nothing.Since the work was done really fast and done right the first time ill be calling Pat or his partner Jim for all of my future house work wether I'm paying out of pocket or going through insurance again.Thank you guys.

I just saw the incorrect info responded by the company after I upgraded my review. They never suggested we contact another company regarding this project at any time. The salesman, Reed, also tried to convince us we did not need a permit and when the job was completed attempted to convince us the village did not do final inspections. We live in Arlington Hts and yes, a permit is needed as well as a final inspection.

I selected Advanced Roofing because of the 100% satisfaction guarantee and their advertised specialization as one of only 3% roofers with GAF Master Elite certification. Big mistake. They "hired" or gave my job in the city to a sub-contractor who 1) forgot to replace my garage roof; 2) left gutters with debris; and 3)used my neighbors back yard to store roofing debris. At first, they seemed motivated to clean out my gutters, then abruptly demanded full and final payment, despite my sending pictures of two gutters with roofing debris. They claimed in writing my gutters were cleaned and I just didn't want to pay them the final payment. No principal from Advanced Roofing ever came to my house, went on the roof and inspected the work of the sub-contractor, ever, despite my request for them to do so by certified letter and in my formal complaints. Realizing something was seriously wrong, I told them I was getting an independent roofing inspection. I've had 3 inspections so far and each of them has identified serious problems including the failure of the sub-contractor to install the ice and water shield guards in all the gulleys, valleys and edges on my roof and other problems. So, it was lucky they refused to finish the job by cleaning my gutters, as it led to me discovering other more serious problems. If your house is in the western suburbs near their service area, you will probably be ok, at least they seem to have a lot of happy customers from their online marketing. I will update when a final resolution happens. 12-20-17 Update: After receiving a request for information by the Illinois State Department of Professional Regulation (Licensing), a representative from Advanced Roofing, Peter, finally came to evaluate my roof and try to resolve my dispute with them. I believe Advanced Roofing was more interested in finally having some pictures and data for them to present their case to the Illinois investigator. Really, no one ever came back to our house, got on the roof to do a final inspection, until Peter came after they were contacted by the State. I also recently filed a complaint with Yelp because I read a review by Mike O. that raved about Advanced Roofing. I suspected it was Mike Osbourne who is a manager for Advanced who was the principal person there trying to get me to pay the balance of our charges, even though there was ample evidence the job had been done incorrectly and was not finished. Even though Peter told me he was there to try to resolve things, when I insisted I would wait until Advanced filed their formal response to the State, he made the same fraudulent threat Mike Osbourne had made multiple times, claiming Advanced and another company had filed Mechanics Liens against our property. There were no liens filed and the time limit for a company filing liens has passed, so Peter either didn't know Mike Osbourne was not telling the truth, or he was willing to fraudulently pressure me to pay them the $6,000+ balance even though the job was not completed. I see Mike O.'s review has been removed, so Yelp must have determined it was a fraudulent review, against the Yelp guidelines. I will update as I find out what happens.

we live in Elk Grove Village and had that severe hail storm early this summer. We were inundated by contractor and after seeing reviews for Advance on BBB and Angie's list, and interviewing them and another company, we went with them. Peter helped us through the process with insurance, helped us pick materials and all of the work crews were excellent. The job was done quickly and my husband who is very picky is very pleased with the workmanship of all of the different crews. They were neat, worked very hard and finished the job with expertise. I would highly recommend this company if you need any work done on the exterior of your home.

Received a quote and then a revised quote after I updated the requirements. Quote included all the required items but specified thinner TPO than other vendors and was among the highest cost of all the quotes I received. I saw them do very nice work on a neighbor's house, but that was covered by insurance so price was not an issue. I just couldn't afford the price quoted.
