Woke up to a busted hot water heater and no hot water. Our home is 50s construction and had issues that needed troubleshooting. Erik and Eddie with DRF Water Heating Solutions arrived just a few hours after my call, quickly solved all the issues we were dealing with and got the unit installed and running! For me, I learn more about a service provider when it’s in the face of issues. In my case, anew water tank heater installed by DRF a couple months ago, sprung a leak. So, I needed prompt service and DRF answered the call. In my case, a new replacement unit was needed and DRF made me feel as if my issue was one of their own family members. Front office was very responsive and knowledgable. I paid $149 to have the plumber come out and walk down the job to get an exact price as 1 1/4 inch gas pipe would need to be run across the basement. The Plummer (Kevin) and his apprentance spent over an hour figuring out how they would do the job and what it would cost. Install took at day. Kevin was great to work with as well as his apprentances Robert and Philipe. They worked with me as far as the exact location I wanted holes and where I wanted the pipe run (as I'd have to build a small soffit around it). Job site was cleaned up and the tankless water heat works great.

Outstanding! Ryan W & his co-worker did a great job - fast, efficient, & professional, & answered all our questions! DRF communicated multiple times throughout the day of purchase & installation!! Water heater is performing great, can't believe a water heater was delivered by Lowes within 2 hrs of purchasing online, & then installed by Ryan W & DRF within 2 hrs after that - all on Black Friday the day after Thanksgiving!! Definitely recommend DRF & Ryan W if anyone needs a water-heater installed!

Great job and pretty quickly completed all things considered. Discovered a leak in the tankless heater late Friday night and technician was out by Saturday early morning. We talked over the details of the repair, looked at replacement models, and he was out and done by Monday at about 3pm - maybe 3:30pm tops. The unit is nice but was not cheap but I didn’t expect it to be. Beyond angry at my self for not doing better maintenance with the previous unit but I’ll do better with this one.

DRF installed a Home Depot - Rheem water heater. Kevin and Robert were very professional, extremely competent plumbers, and adapted to the restrictions of a tight space and old connections. The new pipes, copper piping, and exhaust were expertly done and proved before leaving. I very highly recommend DRF and they are my go-to plumbers now.

DOES NOT CARE ABOUT REPEAT CUSTOMERS! A week before the Chicago flooding in July 2023, I set up an appointment. My guest bathroom was leaking water into the condo below and causing damage. It needed repaired quickly. Waited a week for the appointment. On the night before the appointment I missed a call from DRF. Called back and they said I was still on schedule. The morning of the appointment (A weekday where I took off work!) they cancelled on me. Despite being a repeat customer, having an appointment for a week, and a leak that was causing water damage, apparently I wasn’t as important as the “profitable” flood customers. They said I couldn’t have an appointment for another 3 weeks. Manager talked to the “Bosses” and said it was coming from the top. If you want a company who doesn’t care about repeat business, doesn’t give a crap (pun intended) about their customers, or keeping their word or appointments, is only interested in chasing the bigger buck, then go to this crappy place. WILL NEVER CALL BACK AGAIN and I WILL TELL OTHERS!

They arrived when scheduled, assessed the situation, then removed the existing water heater, made necessary adjustments to the water and gas lines, installed the new heater, cleaned up the worksite and explained the lighting and operation of the heater -- all within 2 hours.
