Sorry [Member Name Removed], but we do make it very clear that deck surfaces are not guaranteed. Snow, water sit on them all winter, people walk on them, etc. Very difficult to get a deck surface to last more than 2 years. Yours looks like it was done 3 years ago possibly. We are happy to look at the project and see if anything was done improperly. You can contact me directly at rick@castlepaintingusa.com and we can arrange a time to come out and look at it if you like.Service Provider Response
After some initial hiccups (our project mgrs fault most definitely) and, after a long winter and rainy spring we are trying to get the season started. Once on a project the painters/employees are trying to finish up and move onto the next project. Foreman on site is communicating with client to arrange colors, co-ordinate continuation of project and things we need to finish up. This became pretty difficult for project mgr and for foreman. My foreman of 10 years became very frustrated and sent an inappropriate text accidentally to client when they weren't going to be able to work and finish up the project and move to another home. He felt horrible(as did we). Good guy who did something stupid. He/We apologized (suspended him) and sent another crew out to finish up. We did. Customer seemed to think we should do the project for almost nothing or he would put up a bad review. We gave him 10% off his project but there really wasn't any pleasing him at this point. We don't run from our issues and we don't try to hide the fact that some jobs don't go perfect and you do your best to complete them, do the best for the customer(within reason) and move on. In this instance although we are focused on the project we are on, it is expensive to move equipment to another site, have employees show up to work and the customer won't give them access or is going to have a color ready and doesn't. Send the painters home who lose a days worth of wages. All this costs money. After the initial scheduling mixup on our part, we communicated with this customer all along and the crew still couldn't work full days, have access to complete the project. Other invoicing issues are not true. Our invoicing clearly matches proposal given to the customer.Ask for details
