Office rep was fine. Not happy about service fee to install broken blind stringer that has a lifetime warranty, plus I’ve been a customer for other projects so I didn’t feel the high fee I was charged for service fee was reasonable. That said, Tim the install tech was fantastic. On time, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Good rep for the business.

I called them because I saw the great reviews on Facebook. Everything was perfect. Jim came and measured within 24 hours of calling. Three weeks later the blinds were installed and they are beautiful. I'll be calling them again soon to finish the rest of the house.

Great. They came when they said they would for the measuring and estimate. Price was competitive. I ordered that day and three weeks to the day the shade was installed. Would use again for sure.

Response to phone inquiry was next day with appointment arranged for measurement in next few days. Measurement accurate and order placed; then received in reasonable time. Installation accomplished while I was out of town and scheduled to family home availability. Cord adjustments made to match the reaching-length of shorter boy who is now thrilled that the morning sun doesn't wake him up so early on weekend mornings.

Jim Burns was excellent. HE was timely courteous, professional. When I need windo w covering in the future will use Lori and Jim Burns Budgrt Blinds. Should also note called others did not return my calls and there price quotes were higher.

Jim came twice. The first time he measured my windows and explained the products and the process. The second time I had a minor question and asked if he could come by again. He was there within a day or two. The shutters were manufactured just as I was told and came on time. The man installing them was pleasant and clearly knew what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself as well! I have had considerable experience with providers of various services, and I found Budget Blinds to be the best people I have ever used. I heartily recommend them.

Excellent! I highly recommend budget blinds Plainfield. This is a new home and they installed temporary blinds until new blinds were available at no cost to us.

Their pricing was much lower than their competitors and the service and quality of their product was fantastic. I would definitely use them again and refer to friends and family!!

It was perfect!  This was not the first time we have used Budget Blinds of Plainfield.  We have used them four different times for two different homes.  Jim has always been fantastic to deal with.  In the first house, we purchased shutters for all of our downstairs windows, and blinds for our upstairs windows.  Once they were made, Jim sent his installer out right away.  the installer called to confirm the time and day and he showed up right on time as promised.  He did a great job on everything.  The shutters not only looked beautiful, but a couple years later when we decided to sell the house, I believe they added value to it and by the buyers comments, they were a big selling point.  When we moved, the home we bought needed a total redecorating job.  Once we finished the painting, the kitchen re-model, the carpet etc., we called Jim at Budget Blinds to purchase more shutters like we had at the other house to put the finishing touches on our new home.  Once again, Jim came out right away and we made the deal.  Once again, the installer did a great job and our new home looks great!  Then we started our sunroom.  Of course when we thought about window treatments we never even thought about calling anyone else except Jim at Budget Blinds.  He set us up with blinds that matched the woodwork in the sunroom perfectly.  Again, everything went smoothly, fast, and made our decorating complete!  Thanks to Jim, his wife, and their installers.  We are extremely satisfied customers!   Dave and Joanie C., Plainfield

I had blinds in my first house that needed to be replaced. I called the original Budget Blinds that I used in Chicago near Midway airport. The woman (Tsia) was a complete joy to deal with. I called them back when I needed to get blinds for my new house. I was unable to use them because of territory.  She said you can call the Budget Blinds in Plainfield.  I called and talked to Jim.  He came out to the house on time.  I was all over the place and confussed as to what to do. I had ideas that probably would not have looked as good and cohesive as what I got.  Jim convinced me to go with his selection.  Best thing of all his idea saved me $800.00.  during the installation there was an issue with one of the pleated shades.  I was notified immediately.  I didnt even have to find the damage on my own.  It was taken care of. The service was phenomenal!
