Workmen were courteous, put down drop cloths to protect carpeting and cleaning up construction/installation mess very well. Carpentry skills are good and the trim boards are good quality.

Very good pricing. Most roofers don t guarantee repairs but they did.

They did a great job in terms of the installation. They came out and did measurements and quotes promptly. They were flexible in terms of their scheduling and time frames. They responded to questions well. They accepted a certain amount on credit card, but not the balance, which is unusual, but they were extremely nice and very professional. The only problem is that they did not do a great job cleaning up. I called them and they came immediately to fix that problem.

The quotation process was easy, informative and low pressure. The quotation was delivered by email, then finalized after some additions and changes. The work was started a week ahead of what had been predicted and was completed during 2 weeks, which was as expected. The installers were very cooperative in doing a few extras like putting up shutters and gutter guards; they went out of their way to discuss options before starting the work, and at various points along the way. There was a hitch with two windows being delivered the wrong size, but this was worked around until replacements came, and did not delay the overall timing.

They were great. He gave me a hundred dollars off for finding him on Angie's List. They did the whole job in one day. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I have had no trouble with the roof.

They were professional, courteous, articulate and good at answering all questions, and responsive. They were punctual, timely, and focused. They appeared to be very knowledgeable and experienced. They took pride in their work and were meticuous and neat with caulking and detail.The estimate was the most thorough and was completely accurate. They exceeded my expectations in all ways. And yes! The siding looks terrific.

The crew that replaced the roof on the garage was very efficient and they cleaned up the area very well. The crew that came out for the siding made a series of mistakes and have been back out to fix. The light fixtures they put back up are not secured. I have talked with them the week before and they said someone would be out right away, I heard that again from them this week and still no one has been out to do the repair.

Based on the positive reviews that Nyberg Exterior has received, I really wanted to use them for this job. There was a mix-up during the initial sales call which was my fault. I double booked the appointment time with Nyberg and another window company. Ted, the Nyberg sales representative, was gracious in respect to the mix-up, left to have lunch and promptly returned an hour later to develop the proposal. The proposal included 4 double hung Marvin windows for my living room and installation of aluminum trim for the remaining 15 windows in my house. I had an issue with two clauses in the proposal/contract that is favorable to Nyberg at the expense of the customer. The first is a clause specifying that the home owner may hold back no more than 5% of the total contract fee due to material shortage. I communicated that I would be willing to pay for any work completed, but not otherwise. My reasoning is that per the proposal Nyberg would have the right to collect 95% of the fees for the whole job if they replaced two windows and could not get the other two. I understand the probability of this happening is slim, but I would not have a leg to stand on, once I signed the proposal. The second is a clause that refers to the home owner being responsible for attorney fees for non-collection. I understand and respect the need for Nyberg Exteriors to protect themselves against customers who don't pay for the work provided, but I would like the same protection if the job was not done right. I sent Andy Nyberg, one of the owners, an email to see if we could reword the proposal to make it acceptable to both parties. I received a response from Andy that Nyberg would prefer to take a pass on the job. Maybe these clauses are standard for most companies, but I would prefer doing business with a Service provider who is willing to listen and discuss the customer s point of view. I cannot enter into an expensive transaction with a company who is unwilling to, at least, hear my point of view.

We moved into our house about six months ago and the previous owners had not done any maintenance to the house in about five years. After the harsh Chicago winter and spring storms, we were getting ice damming and leaks into the house from the gutters and downspouts. Andy Nyberg was professional from the first call with excellent follow-through. My contacts Andy (Kupka) and Arthur were courteous and professional, and the workmen finished ahead of schedule (scheduled for two days, finished in one). Clean-up was superb and the gutter guards look great! We haven't had any serious problems with our gutters since the work. Also, I needed them to come back to reseal one downspout since I had some tuckpointing work done behind it. They returned to do the work as well as seal a new leak in the garage gutter seam and some other minor gutter repairs which I noticed after the installation (pre-existing problems not caused by their work). All of this was done at no extra charge. Great contractor!

The end product looks great and is just what we were hoping for!

I had a problem with a corner on the house and had numerous companies out to look at the roof. All of the companies said the roof needed to be replaced and pointed out different reasons why and that I should contact my insurance company. I did contact my insurance company and had two different insurance inspectors out to inspect my roof. Both inspectors replied that my roof had only minor damage and that repairing the damage was all that was required. I heard about Angie's list and started at calling the top companies. Nyberg Exteriors returned my phone call in about 3 hours to set up an appointment later that week. Andy and Arthur came promptly for the appointment and were informative, courteous and very professional. They were both very cautious about inspecting my whole roof and agreed with the two insurance inspectors about only the damage needing repair. Andy and Arthur also drew to my attention that one of the boots on the stack pipe needed to be replaced to prevent future damage. The repair of the boot on the stack was not mentioned by the insurance company but I could see the need when they pointed out the stack pipe and compared it to another stack pipe on my home that did not need repair. Andy set up the appointment for 6 days later to repair the roof - again Andy and Arthur show right on time - repaired my roof in a very timely manner - cleaned up after their repair. Their professionalism was unbelievable and the two of them deserve every nice word I have read about the on this website! I will have no problem recommending them to anyone in the future. Nyberg Exteriors will be my first call when I need repairs/replacement in the future.

Awesome job! The guys were punctual and polite. Cleaned up at the end of each day. The job took a little bit longer than estimated, but their attention to detail was amazing! Communication, response time was quick and communication between the contractor and his crew was accurate and effective. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

Everything went great from start to finish. Andy Nyberg returned my call promptly. I received a quote promptly, and the two skylights were installed before the week ended. The skylights were installed as promised. The job was done very professionally. I was very satisfied and would use Nyberg exteriors again.

I chose Nyberg Exteriors based on the good service and reasonable prices described in previous reports on Angie's List, and I was pleased with the experience. I called on a Friday to schedule them for the next Friday, and they were actually out earlier, on Wednesday, and left me a quote. Nyberg came and did the work just a couple of days after I accepted the quote. The windows were right over a new garden and other then some inevitable dust from drilling, the garden was completely untouched. The shutters were perfect, as well as a good price. Likewise, the new fascia was indistinguishable from the existing fascia, so no painting was required. The B for professionalism was only due to a non-working voice mail system the first time I called, and a couple of nails found under the fascia after the repair. I was very happy with their work and will use them again in the future.

It was very good, they got what we asked for and paid for, they came out and did it with out us having to come out and do it. It was very painless. It was very comparable.

I called Andy to come and look at our roof, as we had had some water spotting on the ceiling above our boys' bathroom. He called back the same day and scheduled an appointment that week. Arriving punctually, he said that he thought there was no leak but that he'd take a look. After examining the roof from the top, he said it looked perfect, no problem, and that he suspected the problem was condensation from our bathroom fan. No charge, no repair - he told us to monitor the ceiling this winter.

Very impressed with Andy's low key, no pressure approach and reasonable cost estimate. Work was accomplished on the day promised. It was a "no hassle" job. Would definitely use his roofing repair services again if I have a choice.

The guy was very knowledgeable. They were very friendly. I'm very satisfied with how the windows look. They did a very good job cleaning up after themselves.

The repairman was prompt and polite. He completed the repair work in a timely manner. I'd give the quality of his work an A.

My husband noticed mold in the corner of our garage roof corner during the winter when he happened to be in the garage with the garage door closed. Once winter passed, we asked four companies to bid on our roof. Nyberg was the best price and Arthur and Andy were extremely professional from start to finish. I received a call right away to schedule an estimate. Arthur and Andy came to our home, on time, to look at the garage roof. We were told that the roof would need to be replaced because the it was not installed correctly when the garage roof was done 10 or so years ago. (All four companies said the same.) We received a quote by email detailing the work that would need to be done. Our questions were answered promptly and we felt we received a great price. The work was scheduled very quickly and to our convenience. It rained the morning of the install, but the men were at our home when the rain cleared at 10AM and worked very hard all day finishing around 6. Everything was left clean. Andy and Arthur came to the job when the workers arrived, checked in the middle of the day, and followed up to come check the results. We really enjoyed having them involved from start to finish and they were responsive and helpful. We expect to use them again for the house roof.

It went extremely well. The work was done efficiently. They came as promised. And at the end of each day, they cleaned up everything. There were no tools, ladders or debris anywhere.

The new siding really freshens up the house. They cleaned up quite well. They were very efficient. There was a little problem with communication (language barrier), but we were quite happy.
