Mariusz was very apologetic for the issues I previously reviewed and was quick to address my concerns. The repairs were completed in the time frame quoted and the price was more than fair. His workers were knowledgable and professional.

It went very well. The installers arrived on time and even vacuumed up after themselves. Mariusz called to make sure everything went well. Overall, a very good experience.

There was some confusion between the parties answering the phone and the owner. Calls back and scheduling got confused. But we straightened it out and the work was done nicely.

This is the best service I've ever gotten from any company I've ever worked with as a home owner. We had them come out to provide a quote for some wind-damaged siding - the price quote was more than fair and we planned to move forward. We had even set a date for that work when later that same week we experienced a leak in our basement that we could tell was coming from the outside. They came out within two hours the same day to help determine the source of the leak and stopped it at the source. Mariusz not only explained thoroughly what was cauing the leak, but also how he planned to fix it. There was so much about this experience I appreicated but the best part of Mariusz was how he took the time to explain what he was doing and what he was thinking. When it is time to get new siding for the house we will absolutely be using Holda.

Due to serious icing conditions, 50 feet of gutters crashed to the ground. Some of the Facia and Soffit broke lose as well, creating a condition that could have resulted in serious water damage inside my home. I contacted Holda Construction Wednesday night and they were at my home early Thursday morning to access the damage and plan a course of action. Mariusz(Holda) agreed with my concerns that there was risk of water damage from inclement weather if emergency repairs were not done. Holda 'stepped up' and had a crew onsite the next day to replace the facia and soffit, eliminating the risk of any further damage. They then tended to other customers in simular 'emergency' situations and came back a couple days latter to install new gutters. Can't thank Mariusz for his responsiveness to my predicament. His crew did an exceptional job and I have already told a few of my neighbors about this great experieince. I HIGHLY recommend HOLDA. Thank you Mariusz !

Fine...came back to check ice damns. Owner is very punctual and prompt about reuturning calls. Gutters look great.

I contacted Mariusz Holda for an estimate to replace our kitchen window. he was easy to contact, and came out within a week or so to do the estimate. he then emailed me a couple of different options the following day. I have not had the work done yet, but plan to in the near future.

Maurisz at Holda was extremely professional and honest in his dealings with me. We had an emergency, gutters fell off the front of the house because of the severe weather (and, they were very old). He came out the day I called for an estimate. Even though the weather was severe, he got a crew out here on the first day possible to take down and put up new gutters, and the fascia was repaired on the next day the weather made it a possibility to work. Everyone was very professional. My neighbors were very impressed with the speed and quality of their service. I will be calling Holda again in the spring for some additional work on my home. Highly recommend!

I give Mariusz Holda, his employees, and his company, Holda Construction, Inc., a 500% positive experience from the beginning estimate through the end installation of the gutters and downspout. He said his estimate would take about 45 minutes to write up because he wanted it to be accurate so there would be no surprise extra costs. Our experience exceeded our expections. Mariusz explained what he would do to replace the soffit, fascia, and gutter that came down off the front of our house due to ice. He replaced the wood supports across the front of the house because he said the supports that exist are old (part of the supports were exposed so he could see them) and if he didn't replace the wood it would happen again. The other estimate we got never mentioned that and their estimate was higher! He said he only does quality work and his company stands behind that. I was at work when they started and he emailed pictures of the replaced wood supports. I couldn't believe it. It validated his strong and honest work ethic (and that of his employees) which I never doubted in the first place. We had the roof, gutters, soffit, and fascia replaced about 7 years ago and we found out from Mariusz that the previous company did not cut the wood out under the vents on the soffit, which was one of the reasons we had the ice problem due to no ventilation. The ice build-up has been a problem for 7 years. His work is flawless. The work is complete and Mariusz is coming by to make sure everthing is satisfactory to us and up to the standards he expects from his employees. Mariusz has been very polite and professional as have been his employees. I would highly recommend him. There aren't enough accolades to praise Mariusz Holda Construction.

I must say they are absolutely positively the best contracting crew I have ever dealt with. I had a leak above my front door which was creating an icy spot potentially dangerous for visitors. I called early in the morning I was all fixed that afternoon. Way beyond the call of duty, way beyond my expectations but then again they have always been excellent to work with.

Holda was very responsive to my request for a quote. They even made the effort to come all the way down to the NWside of Chicago to quote the job in person. Their price was inline with others I received but the level of professionalism and responsiveness from Holda was unparalleled. They came prepared w/ gutter color samples and (given the side of the porch) offered to install an oversized downspout at no additional cost. Though it was a small job, they sent a detailed quote that even included a sketch of the gutter and downspout layout which I really appreciated. It was simply above and beyond what I expected and came out looking great. I will definitely use them again for bigger jobs in the future.

Holda Construction did an excellent job replacing my windows. I only ordered 2 so they were in and out quickly, and all the work was done neatly and professionally. The windows themselves are beautiful and a big improvement. The order took a little longer than I expected, but it worked out just fine. I only wish I had been updated on the order progress more frequently. I would definitely recommend Holda Construction and/or this window deal to a friend.

I am extremely pleased by the work done by Holda Construction. The owner, Mariusz, did a professional job managing all aspects of the project. He had one crew which did the carpentry work to replace the soffit and fascia, and a separate crew which installed the gutters. All of the workers were polite, cooperative and good natured. Marek, carpentry foreman, explained every detail that needed attention. It turned out that in addition to soffits and fascia we needed several rafter replaced where the wood had rotted. I was given a very reasonable estimate for this additional work. Marek could have just put the new soffit and fascia up without ever pointing out the rotted rafters, and I would not have been the wiser. He had to make a special trip to procure additional wood and it held up the workers until the repairs could be made. The soffits and fascia we selected were made from a composite material that will not decay, and they look like wood, which is important on our 100 year old home. I got two other quotes for the job, and Mariusz price was less than both quotes. I will definitely call Mariusz for additional projects we have in mind. Dave

We have a "historic" home in Barrington that did not have gutters. Holda consulted with us to insure we would be happy with the look. They did an excellent job and over came some problem areas. They matched our trim color perfectly and installed promptly at our convience. Very efficient, very fairly priced for a quality installation and were as quoted with no extra charges. Highly recommend.

It is now 3 1/2 weeks later, and we have never heard back from this service provider. If we are too far away for them to travel, they need to let us. Our gutters have still not been serviced, and we are running out of good weather for this kind of work.
