We were pleased with the results and would use this company again, if needed.

I was told on the phone that the initial cost was for a house inspection, which I thought was very reasonable. It turned out that the initial cost was for the service call. When the serviceman showed up, I found the only area scheduled for inspection was the roof. I felt the cost was rather high to just check the roof. The serviceman was punctual, polite, and knowledgable. He did check the attic and crawl space and place mice bait in both areas. The overall cost to rid my house of mice and the peace of mind that a larger animal had not invaded my home, was worth it.

So far so good -- no return visits from the woodpecker. responded quickly, came when he said he would, professional. Slightly expensive for simple adhesive/repellant and a balloon.

We discovered over 100 yellowjackets (most were dead) in our son's upstairs bedroom after returning home from vacation! They had entered under the eaves, were inside the wall and ate a small hole into the bedroom wall. Our regular Orkin man treated the nest with a powder but could only do so from the inside hole. He said to call Critter Control who has extension ladders to reach the outside 2nd story. We could still see activity from the outside, so I was eager to get this taken care of. JP from CC came as scheduled the day after I called, very promptly. He explained that CC treats yellowjackets with two sprays: first a PT spray into the nest (to kill larva which could normally hatch 1-2 weeks later) and then the powder spray to kill the adult yellow jackets. There were two nests about 12 feet apart that he treated. The yellowjackets were completely gone a few days later, just as he predicted. JP even agreed to search around the rest of our home and removed some wasp combs and sprayed a few areas. They quoted a price range of $135 - 175 and it ended up being the upper end. Since he did more removal/treament around the entire house, I felt that we got our money's worth. We were very pleased with his service and would recommend CC.

I called left a message and they returned my call 5 minutes later. Scheduled an appointment next day the yellow jackets were taken care of by 9:30am.

Critter Control is an excellent company, providing honest advice and great service. Their technician, Josh, was exceptional, explaining that there had been some mouse activity in the basement, but none in quite a while. He was extremely diligent in placing the poison packets in all possible areas of activity. The company also showed great concerned for the welfare of the trapped animals. The cages were modified to provide a sun / rain / privacy cover to protect whatever was caught and to minimize the animal's fright.

Critter Control came out and set live traps to catch the raccoon. The raccoon ran away without being caught. They did bring a protective screen to put over the attic fan opening to ward off anything seeking entrance. They were prompt to come out and I would use them again if needed.

The requested service was performed in a timely and professional manner. Prices were as quoted and a bit lower than another service contacted.

I called at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when I heard noises in my attic. They had someone call me that night and Josh showed up the next day to determine the problem. He answered all of my questions and concerns and set the trap on the roof. Since he set it up on a Thursday and we did not catch the raccoon, he had to come back on Friday to disarm because of IL Law you can not leave an animal trapped over the weekend. He came back on Monday and reset the trap. I decided to also trap what was living under my deck. By Thursday we had caught 2 raccoons that were living in my attic and 2 opposums from under my deck. He made the repair to the roof so no animals can get back inside. The next Tuesday, Corey came out to inspect the attic and disinfected to remove the contamination and deter animals from coming back.

I could hear the squirrels running around in my attic. I had to wait for some of the snow to melt, then Brad came out, sealed up one hole and set traps near the second. After catching 4 squirrels, he sealed up the second hole. He called a lot to give me the status of the job. He was courteous and really knew what he was doing.

The office personnel did not callback when they said that they would. The technician did not call before coming out the first time as he said he would. The technician told me that the bait and screens that he put in were warranted for a year. When I called the office to confirm this they said no. The technician also told me that a more experienced person could come out and check more thoroughly for possible openings where the rodents are entering my home. The office says that they only return to place more bait. I am not pleased with the experience that I've had with Critter Control.

We heard some fluttering on and off throughout the week in the fireplace. Because it wasn't really loud or consistent it was hard to tell if something was really stuck in the fireplace, and we were too afraid to open the chute to find out. We called Critter Control because by the time we confirmed there was something in there, the bird had been without food or water for a couple of days and we were afraid it would die. They came out the next day. The guy (I forgot his name, but he is REALLY TALL so you can't miss him) was very nice. He remembered our house from the time he had to remove skunks from our backyard. He opened the chute and gently held the bird and brought him outside. It was a morning dove and thankfully, still alive. He put him on our bush outside and after a second the bird flew away, so all was well. Critter Control charges a fee every time they come out and another fee to remove the animal. However, this guy said because it was so easy for him to remove the bird, he was not going to charge the animal removal fee. I thought that was very nice because although it seemed easy to him, I would have gladly paid the extra fee to not deal with it myself. Afterwards, we went on our roof to install some mesh wiring stuff, so animals could not fly down our fireplace again. I would definitely use them again, but hopefully I won't have to!

Critter Control quoted me $75 cheaper than the other company I called and said they would have someone there immediately and that I did not have to be home. I was able to pay conveniently via credit card over the phone. The other company told me I would have to leave a check taped to my door. They came out within the time quoted and removed the skunk and left the receipt in the mailbox. They were extremely helpful over the phone and the job was done quickly.

It went really well.... from my initial phone call to their onsite removal visit. The employee was not only kind and respectful to me, but you could see that he was also kind and respectful to the animal too.

None of the gaps or holes found in the siding of the house were actually addressed. He just recommended that I get a couple of tubes of caulk to take care of it. He placed bait in two places. This was accomplished by removing the vent covers in the ceiling, then setting bait just to the sides of the vents. In the process of removing one of the vent covers, the plaster/drywall around the hole broke, making it impossible to replace the vent cover. At this point, he asked me if I 'had some glue'. I didn't. He said we could caulk it shut, then asked if I had any caulk. I didn't. He eventually got his caulk and closed it up, holding it closed with some painters tape (that I supplied). The surrounding area was left a mess of white drywall dust. When I asked what could be done to prevent mice from getting back in, he replied that he could send another guy out to caulk for another $175. I passed. For $175, I had expected a little more preventative work and professionalism.

Very well. Dave is a professional, knows what he's doing, and is going out of his way - literally - to take care of our squirrel problem.

They were able to catch a couple of roof rats. I'm not sure what they do with them but at least they are not in my attic anymore. I really don't remember the cost but I thought it was reasonable for what they do.

This company is a good one. They do the job well and I can't think of a problem we have had with them. The service meets our needs and expectations I would say so I would call myself generally satisfied with the services we get. They seem to charge what everyone else does in this area for pest control types of services.

That can be quite an adventure, when you have birds flying around in the house! I was very pleased to find a dependable company to come out and proof the house from any further occurrence. They actually missed covering one vent around the opposite side of the house so they came out and took care of it and did not charge me any extra.

When I called to schedule the appointment, the receptionist was able to set up an appointment within a couple of days. The receptionist and technician also accommodated my strict time requirements of arrival for the appointment. In addition to removing the nests, Ed, the technician, educated me on the wasp and bee nests around my property. He also walked around my property looking for nests that I may have missed. He removed an additional nest that I hadn't noticed. Ed was professional, informative, kind, and thorough. I recommend the company highly.
