Always professional with respect to explaining cost and need. First I had an older Jeep that was falling apart and they would explain the problem, give me a quote and let me know where any issues were headed. Three years ago I bought a newer Honda that I should have had Casey's team check out before buying but did not realize that this was an option. They have replaced rusted out brakes, a leaking steering line and more. I always bring my car here for regular maintenance and minor repairs. I trust Pete and his team to give me solid advice and their very best price.

All is well now and done in a short time.

I don't remember the cost. They're extremely honest and thorough. They don't try to upsell you or oversell you. They're honest. I took my car there and requested an oil flush, the regular one. They actually took the time and looked in their records. They told me that I didn't need one because I had it done three months before and had forgotten about it. They could have easily done the regular flush and charged me for it because I asked for it.

They always go above and beyond when it comes to service. Went in for an oil change and to check any damage that may have occurred when I got stuck in our last ice storm; They are always very courteous and thorough. They offered to rotate my tires at no charge and gave me the sale price on the oil change without my having to ask; I had an oil leak I didn't know about and they showed it to me and performed the fix in the time they estimated. The only issue I have is that they don't take appointments. I can only go on a Saturday. They open at 7:30 and I was there at 6:50 in order to get in before the crowd comes. They are very busy. They are worth the extra waiting time. I know I will always get great service at a reasonable price.

I've had all my cars, and my family's cars repaired at Casy's for the last 15+ years. They always give me a reasonable price and do great work. I would recommend their services.

We use Casey's Automotive for oil changes and most car repairs. They are very professional and they keep you well informed of what is going on with your car. I had some warranty work needed to be done on my Buick which Casey's told us about. We decided to take the car back to a dealer as we got the extended warranty through them and it was quite a mistake. Casey's would have be over $200 less than what we paid for our "covered" extended warranty repair. We will now take our car to Casey's for any work needed. (March 2014).

When we found it was not properly done on the first visit Casey refunded the cost of the first appointment ($89). They worked to make it right.

So far, so good. Since it's a recent repair the work cannot be rated for the long-term, yet. Have been using Casey's for several years. They provide "A" work & service. We will continue to use this repair shop.

My wife turned me on to them. They’re fantastic. The reason I go to them is they’re beyond ethical. Scheduling appointment is no problem. They are a very busy office and are good about keeping appointments on time.

They made some suggestions about future maintenance. They’re on the ball with everything and live up to their word. I have no complaints.

I'm a long time Casey's customer. Even when I didn't live nearby I would drive out of my way to have them service my car. Their facility is always clean and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they aren't pushy! I would just recommend showing up early for any kind of routine maintenance, as they get busy very quickly...because they're awesome!

My father was a mechanical engineer and always gave me first hand advise about taking cars of my vehicles. He recommended this place to me, and now that he is gone I am glad I have a place to go with confidence. They examine and explain clearly, and I feel generally looked after here.

not good the the night before i was to drop off my truck for service i ran into a problem and called them to try and make another appointment and there anwsring machine wouldn't let me leave a message and it hung up on me and i said forget about it left them a email on there site and told them i was unhappy with this and i left them a a poor review on there site about my displeasure and the sent me a email to remove my comments which i didn't want to do that so they left me with a bad overall feeling

This was what turned out to be a 9 day oil change. We took our Cobalt in for an oil change and the mechanic spotted something that did not look right. The short version is that it turned out to be a huge problem with the transmission (manual) that would be expensive to repair. We had purchased an extended warranty. Casey staff did 100% of the legwork, negotiation, and overall dealing with the Chevy warranty people. It took a total of 9 days to get the car back but the work was perfect, the cost was for an oil change only, and the detailed receipt went on for pages. I'm grateful both that they caught the problem before I was stranded somewhere in the car and that they literally did all the work.

Casey did a great custom job. Made the auxiliary horn button look like it was a factory accessory. Did the project quickly and solved an urgent issue we had, as the steering wheel mounted horn was malfunctioning, rendering the Mach1 un-driveable. As we send the vehicle out with members, we were in a very urgent situation, and Casey came through, as well as doing a great job.

On time, and have had no problems with the work done. Have been to Casey Automotive in Palatine twice and they now are the only shop I am going to for auto work.

Pretty standard. In and out. Replaced the battery no nonsense. Would use them again.

Everything was fine. Promptly greeted at the door, asked what servicing was needed & then they got right to work. 1.5 hours later, I got my car back- oil changed, tires rotated & a note, saying the technician didn't hear anything when applying the brakes. A bit odd, because the sound is pretty obvious when the car comes to a stop. Either way, quick in & out & that's how I like it. Would recommend for services performed ( oil changes & tire rotations)- reasonable price & decent wait time.

My husband loves them. They are fantastic. I have gone in with him and they are so honest and upfront. They are the best. They are to the point. My car is at hundred thousand miles and we have discussed what is typical for that make and model not just the car of its age so they are that honest and help you plan when you are going to have to spend your money. I knew that the timing belt was going to happen in what window and I took it in. They have been just really, really great, so it is the preventive care of automotive. They are first come first serve, so you just go in and you are fine. I have old bill here that says they charge $15.95 for an oil change, the bill says full synthetics $39.95 but I have no idea what that means, and air conditioning performance check is $29.95 and recharge is $79.95. You don’t want to go somewhere where they are going to keep finding things that are unnecessary like some I have used before. They have been so consistent over the years. They make it an effort to have names; the second time I walked in, they remembered my name, which was pretty amazing. It is a fair company so they could be competitive in their pricing. If they give me an estimate of when they would be done, they would be done early; I have never had to wait.
