It took them a little over an hour to do the oil change. Overall, it was average. The reason I took it to the dealer is it's where I bought the car. That was the main reason. I will continue to use them to the minor.

I've leased a car from Arlington Acura before, I've had good luck with them, and haven't had any problems. I've had really good luck with dealing with them when I leased the car. I was in and out in about an hour and a half giving them a car and taking a car out. It worked out very well, the deal was good, and I thought I was treated very fairly. It has been a great experience with Arlington Acura.

We still had to pay $70. but they gave us a credit since no work was done other than to hook the car up to their computer. We would rather have had a refund but at least they didn't charge us for the check up.
Description of Work: The car failed the emissions testing so we brought it in. It took a week to get an appointment. We were charged approximately $70.00 for checking out the car and it turned out to be a computer problem. The car's computer hadn't been reset after the last service. Once it was done, the car passed the test. No other problems were found.

Although I had a number of minor problems with the car immediately, the final straw was when the brakes had to be replaced 6 weeks after I bought the car. Not surprisingly, Arlington Acura said that the brakes were not covered under the Acura certified pre-owned program or the car or dealer warranty. I countered that they should fix the brakes at no charge because: 1. I had the car less than 2 months (and had driven it less than 5,000 miles) and 2. per Arlington Acura's own service manager told me the brakes should last at least 50-60,000 miles -- and the car had less than 40,000 miles on it. My view was that there was either a defect in the brakes or the previous owner had worn them out prematurely -- either way, the poor condition of the brakes should have been noted and corrected by Arlington Acura if, in fact, they had done the 150 point inspection/servicing they claimed they performed as part of Acura's certified pre-owned program. After several progressively acrimonious conversations with various Arlington Acura people (up to the general manager), they grudgingly offered to cover half the cost of the brake work. By this point, I "had my Irish up" and refused to pay a dime -- insisting that they do the work at no cost to me. They refused. I called Acura's American HQ; they were great and came to the rescue. They intervened and covered the other half of the work so in the end it did not cost me anything. I would not hesitate to buy another Acura, but I would NEVER, EVER buy a car from Arlington Acura. PLEASE NOTE: As I indicated above, I see this experience as a reflection on Arlington Acura trying to pass off a (rare) Acura lemon as a quality Acura vehicle. I still think Acura's are great cars and I thought Acura's HQ's help was terrific.
Description of Work: I had a similar experience buying a "certified" car (an Acura RL) from these folks. I was concerned that, although I was told the car was "certified", nowhere was that designated. So, the general manager just hand-wrote "certified" on the bill of sale. However, I had numerous problems with the car from the first week I bought it and ended up selling it a couple of months later. I would NEVER go to Arlington Acura again. I would rather walk than buy a car from these people.

These people are crooks! They tried to deliver the "CERTIFIED" car with bald tires, no service work performed, a spray can paint job on the bumpers and they then tried to lie and cheat their way out of all the work they did not do. It took Acura getting involved for them to admit anything. In the end, they just kept on lying while I played dumb to their games. These are truly the most unethical people I have ever worked with. THEY WILL NEVER ADMIT ANYTHING UNTIL THEY ARE CAUGHT. When I tried to inform the General Manager, Jeff, about what was going on he wouldn't hear a word of it. He yelled at me that they were going to take care of it. He couldn't care less about the lying of his employees. I guess it really does come from the top. I WOULD NEVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE IF THEY WERE THE LAST DEALERSHIP ON EARTH.

I BROUGHT MY NEW ACURA TSX IN TO BE SERVICED- DURING THE WINTER MONTHS I NOTICED A CREAKING SOUND NEAR THE DASHBOARD/FRONT WINDSHIELD. I BROUGHT THE CAR IN A COUPLE OF TIMES, ACTUALLY, & THEY HAVE YET TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. IT IS RELATIVELY MINOR, BUT IT IS NOTICEABLE WHEN THE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATES & GETS COOLER. REGARDLESS, THEY ARE ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL & COURTEOUS. I JUST WISH THEY COULD FIX THE PROBLEM.

WE FOUND THE SALES EXPERIENCE AT ARLINGTON ACURA TO BE GOOD. THE ONLY THING IS WE WISHED THEY WOULD HAVE NEGOTIATED A LITTLE MORE ON THE PRICE, BUT WE STILL FEEL LIKE WE GOT A GOOD DEAL. THE TRANSACTION WENT SMOOTHLY, AND PRETTY QUICKLY, AND WHEN WE GOT THE CAR THEY GAVE US A "TOUR" AND EXPLANATION OF EVERYTHING ABOUT IT. WE ALSO LOVE THE FACT THAT WE GET FREE CAR WASHES AT ARLINGTON ACURA.
