Description of Work: Came out to check A/C- needed a part (?). Replaced. Timely, courteous, and fair price.

Description of Work: came at the end of the block they gave me, was in and out in no time to check air. everything checked ok, glad to know they can bundle heat too for annual contract.

Description of Work: The cost was a little higher than some of the other estimates I received- however, the customer service was much better and therefore worth the cost!!

Description of Work: Our air conditioning condensing unit stopped working during the evening. I called Allied upon their opening the next morning. They sent a technician out within about 2 hours. The technician quickly diagnosed that the outside electrical disconnect was blown. He replaced the disconnect and the air conditioner was working again by noon the same day. I thought the price was a little high but the service was outstanding.

Description of Work: They gave my furnace a fall tune up which I purchased from Angie's list as a deal. |I also needed my humidifier replaced, which was done at that time. After the serviceman left, the humidifier began to whistle. He returned the next day, checked over everything thoroughly and determined the whistle was caused by air being sucked into the humidifier vents. He sealed them up and it has worked great since. |I have used Allied on several occasions, both for routine maintenance and for emergencies. I've always found them to be prompt, reliable, reasonably priced and providing great service. |

Description of Work: A friend had used and suggested Allied, plus I saw good reviews on Angie's List. So I contacted Allied through Angie's List to use their $79 a/c service deal. | |I had not done any services for a while, so I inquired whether I should also do a furnace service to clean that up. But once the service guy was here, he said the a/c service would cover any currently needed cleaning. So I was pleased that they seemed to only be selling me what I needed. My a/c also needed extra freon so that added $87 (older style coolant, so reasonable I guess). He pointed out a few components, mainly a couple capacitors, that could be wearing out in the near future. But he gave me cost estimates for everything, and did not push any extras as though there were "emergency" issues - just stated how things were, and warned of what might need work in the future. | |I also asked about a rattling noise I thought I heard. He told me exactly what it was and what it would take to fix (replace a big part)... but also told me that there was no cause for concern, nothing that would cause the furnace to break down so that was reassuring. | |The service guy arrived as scheduled and either was neat and clean or cleaned up any messes he made. Overall I was pleased with the work and plan to keep using Allied for a/c and furnace service.

Description of Work: Requested a quote for new A/C unit. Got a technician who diagnosed broken unit which was obvious. Charged me 84 bucks and all I wanted was a quote for new one. Scheduled to have Patrick come and give quote for new unit, no show, no call. Overall bad service. Overpriced.

Description of Work: Replaced 28 year old Carrier furnace and A/C with new models. They were on time, performed the installation efficiently and quickly. Explained the operation and care of the system. Price was within $100 of another large local company. Would definitely recommend and use them in the future.
