Description of Work: Built a roofdeck pergola.

Description of Work: They were professional and mindful of what we wanted. Pricing was in the neighborhood of the other bids we received. We just had a stronger family referral. Otherwise, probably would have went with DAL over all others.

Description of Work: They washed and sealed my deck. I am sorry they didn't recommend that I get a colored sealant because my deck looked pretty washed out.

Description of Work: Called them to get a quote to complete a remodel that has already been started. Work would have been for most finish work including drywall. The estimator came out and took all the information and asked for me to send him the plans I had to get an accurate quote which I did. About a week later he sent me an email saying how it would cost about $100,000 to do the work and that I should get new plans from my architect. This made no sense at all. Other quotes I got we're about one third of their price. I replied to his email asking for more clarification but I never heard back. I understand my situation is not common but if they do not want the job they should just state that. Don't just give me a ridiculous quote to scare me away.

Description of Work: this company was the best. he was on time and gave me a good est. in less than 48 hours. the report and est was professional. i would recommend this company to anyone. very, very good!!!!!! Although i was not able to afford this at this time i would hope that they will service me when the funds become avaiable. out of all the companies i called, they are the only ones responded.

Description of Work: When I called DAL (after getting the name from Angie's List) to come for an estimate of the job of remodeling the large room of my basement, Dave said he'd be here at 9:00 the next day - and he was here at 9:00 the next day! I thought that if his estimate werein the ballpark, I'd have his group do it because he was prompt! In his estimate he suggested things that he thought I'd want, that I hadn't thought of. He was right! He gave me the plan for payment and it was followed. The office manager was thorough, very nice, and did her work efficiently. The workers came when they said they would, they were polite, efficient, rather quiet, didn't play loud, raucous music, cleaned up after themselves. Their work was done well. Dave met me to help me select the floor covering because I wasn't sure what quality was how much money. I really appreciated his advice. At one point he had a worker put an outdoor lock on my door so the workers could lock or unlock it from the outside when I wasn't home. That worked very well. Dry wall was put up, over new insulation, and then painted; electricity was changed and much improved, 4 doors were added; 1 window; a 3-shelf set of book shelves, and new, lovely flooring was added. A very old sump pump was removed; new stair tops were installed, as was a hand-rail. I enjoyed the workers. They gave advice, took mine, gave me specific knowledge when I asked for it. Actually I missed them when the month's job was completed. The walk-through was quick. Two small items needed touching up and it took them a while to get that done, but that worked okay. Several friends and family members have seen the finished room and were amazed! So am I. It's wonderful. I plan to have some remodeling of a small bathroom soon, and I will call Dave and his workers. Description of Work: They built a customized book shelf as a surprise birthday present for my husband. They exceeded my expectations and were able to finish it while he was at work. It turned out great and he LOVED it. I can't wait for my next project that I am planning. I am so happy with David and his crew.
