We didn't have to have services done because Chris advised us not to replace the water heater until it starts to break.  Again, this is one of the first times a contractor has advised me not to spend money!

They have done maybe 5 or 6 times over the past 5 years. Mostly fixing clogs or damaged pipes. I like them because they responded quickly and fixed the problem. I feel comfortable using them and will call them again when needed. I think their charges are in line with other plumbers. They don't waste time so I feel my money is well spent.

I've used them many times in the past with no problem. This time didn't go as well. They came out in February initially to fix the problem. The original owner has retired and a new owner, Chris, is now in place. The technician came out and didn't know what to do about the problem. He ordered a new cartridge for the hot water, which was where it was dripping. The bill for that visit was $140 even though he didn't fix it. I asked if it would cost me that much again for the second visit, and I would just buy the cartridge from them if that would be the case and install it myself. They never called to let me know that the cartridge came in, so I called later to see if it was there. They said it was, but there was a miscommunication in that they thought I wanted to install it myself.

Another technician came and installed the cartridge. There was confusion with the charges, though. He originally charged for both visits, but it was corrected to $30. Then it went up to $60. Afterwards, I called Chris twice to let him know that it was still leaking. He had me check if it was both cartridges and asked me to call him back. I called back 3 times leaving messages to have him call me back. He never did. I went out and bought a new faucet set, I found a new plumber, and he installed the new set.

"On February 10, 2013 one of our Plumbers came to your residence to fix the flapper on your toilet and you notified him that the hot cartridge on your lavatory needed to be changed. You wanted to save some money and you told us that you would order the part yourself. I discussed that it would only cost $30 for travel time and time to fix the faucet. The Plumber that came to your house on April 10th was different from the first and did not know about the cost. I should have told him about the special price that I gave you before he arrived but the situation with the cost was rectified once he called me. We installed the cartridge that was purchased by you and it failed. We wish that we could predict when new parts will not be the answer to the problem but unfortunately it is sometimes trial and error. We apologize that we did not meet your expectations on this job but we have worked with you in the past and we appreciate your business. Sincerely, Chris"

I had found that when I used the washing machine sudsy water accumulated behind it, causing the floor to become quite wet. At first I thought it was a problem with the machine itself. The appliance repair person confirmed that it was not the machine. I called Dan Reeg Plumbing, and they came out the same day.  They diagnosed the problem very quickly -- it turns out that the used water was not draining through the pipe, but was instead backing up onto the basement floor due to the fact that the drain pipe was clogged with tree roots and soil.  They needed a larger machine to do a thorough job, but when it was available sooner than anticipated, they came out later that day and completed the work. I have been using Dan Reeg Plumbing for many years.  They are professional, consistently do an excellent job, and I would not hesitate to use them for all future plumbing work.

We found Dan Reeg after bad service by other plumbers.  They came highly recommended and didn't disappoint.  They've installed new toilets and sinks, repaired broken toilets, and took care of some basement drain pipe problem that I can't quite remember what the exact issue was!  They've made time for us when our basement flooded, which was highly appreciated.  
I trust them and appreciate the quality of their service.  No reservations.

The concrete floor of our garage was broken and heaving up. Rainfall did not drain and the garage was flooding during every significant rainfall.  We contracted to have the concrete removed and replaced, but it became clear that that was not the only problem so we immediately called Dan.  He came out and told us that the garage floor would need to be dug up around the drain pipe and he would need to clear the pipe to street.  He then suggested that it would cost us a whole lot less if we dug the garage floor out ourselves rather than pay his firm to do it.  We did as he instructed, he came out and cleared out the drains and the price was reasonable.  

Dan has also performed multiple plumping projects and repairs for us over the past 10 years. I love him.  He is a member of our trusted "home maintenance and repair team".  We leave him a key, he responds quickly to emergency situations, he's honest and tells us how we can save money on big projects.  I give him an A+.

They did a fine job. They also changed some drain pipes in the kitchen. That was the first time that I have used them and they were refereed to us by a friend of my wives’. We would definitely use them again. They were courteous, they stayed within the estimate payment, they were able to get all the work done that I asked them to do. They also cleaned up everything before they left and they gave me options as they were working. Also, I want to add that when I called them to do the work, they called me right back within the next hour; they were very prompt and responsive.

They were fixing a faucet in a bathroom. We have used them in the past and they are our go to plumber. They are quite good. They are very professional. They come when they say they are going to be here, they do the job that they came to do and they do it it successfully. Usually one guy comes out to do the work. They came out right away after they called.  They gave me a half hour to get home and they were there right on time.  A mechanism inside the tank had to be changed in one toilet so I had them look at the other one and they changed that one also.  It was such a relief to get it fixed because the leak was getting bad.  They replaced the parts that were in the toilets with better quality parts so they will last longer.

We bought a foreclosure that had sat empty for nine months and needed a TON of maintenance that had been deferred by previous owners.  They were prompt, efficient, and professional each of the five times we had them out.  The tub was draining into the dining room below, and when vintage pornographic literature rained down from the access hole, they pretended not to notice so as to be professional.  Fixing up older homes often leads to discovering more areas in need of repair, and the plumbers took every measure to keep the costs down.  They even saved the copper scraps from our illegal basement bathroom so we could use that money to offset the cost of the unexpected repairs that cropped up. We plan on having them out again when we put in a LEGAL second bathroom.
