Dirk was very professional, punctual and helpful.  He showed up when he was supposed to, talked through with me what we were looking for and provided a set of plans in a timely fashion.

My interaction with them was not very good. The person came out, but I never saw a set of plans or ever got them. The experience was okay, but I never got what I thought I paid for. I would just tell anyone to make sure they follow-up with them. When he left my home he told me that within a week or so I should get the plans and it will be emailed to me, but I don't ever recall getting an email or anything that had an attachment for plans. The price wasn't outrageous, they were here on time, and he was very professional when he came.

Dirk was wonderful.   I had to reschedule our appointment a couple of times and he was very understanding about the reschedules.   I thought Dirk would be in and out in under an hour but instead I think he was here at least 2 hours.   He asked me questions about how much we use each room on the 1st floor and asked what I bothered me the most about my space which included not only the kitchen, but the dining room, living room and a utility room.   Dirk got me to think outside of the box and offered the idea of putting a new kitchen of where my dining room is located because it has the wall space to accommodate more cabinets.   I liked the idea and told Dirk that we did not have the $ to do such a major renovation at that time.   He was very professional and said he understood.   That discussion was almost two years ago and since then I've had several parties, family reunions and just more time to live and think about our current space.   Dirk's idea has come to grow on me immensely over this time.   While we still don't have all of the money to do all of the renovations at once - we are starting to make changes piecemeal.   When it comes to kitchen design I will look up Dirk again.

Budget Right did a fantastic job on our home and deck!  We could not be happier with the work they did.  They had exceeded our expectations!  Upon first contacting them, we were pleased with Dirk's follow through and quick response time.  He was very knowledgeable, helpful, understanding, polite, and patient with all our questions.  After meeting in person, It was nice to be able to get in touch via email or phone with him.  Dan, the general contractor, was great to work with on a daily basis.  He was always approachable, friendly, understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful.  If he did not have an answer, he was great at getting back to me within the day.  Dan, as well, always returned any calls in a very timely fashion (generally right away or within a few hours) and we felt he was a good advocate for us when we needed it.  He  was considerate of our schedule as we have a 3 year old.  He and his crew would set up times to arrive at our home in the morning and they would be on time!  The crew cleaned up after themselves and were polite and very hard workers.  Every one was extremely thorough and responsible.  Installation of our cabinets, backsplash, closing up a window, moving ducts around, were all done exceptionally well.   We had provided regular feedback (expressing excitement, asking questions, etc..) to Dan during the renovations and he was always very accepting.  It was always reassuring to know that if we had a concern or question or needed consultation about the house and deck that we would be interacting with a patient and understanding contact person.  There is nothing worse than dreading speaking to a general contractor on a regular basis as they work on your home.  We never had to worry about that!  Overall, it was a great experience and my husband and I highly recommend Budget Right!!  We would use them again if we needed to!

Good experience.  Dirk helped us get started on visualizing how our small kitchen could really be improved.

Dirk was great.  He was professional and very helpful--he clearly has a lot of experience doing kitchens and provided helpful insights.  The drawings we received were helpful to visualize what the kitchen might end up looking like and the estimate we received from Budget Right was very reasonable.

The owner was punctual, quick, and forthcoming - even suggesting what not to change in order to save us money. He could just have easily allowed us to push for a more expensive kitchen but after understanding our goals, realized that we needed to reevaluate what we were looking for.

I got a big deal from Angie's List.  I didn't go with the project.  It was a good deal.  He gave me the plans and I didn't give him any more money.  He was punctual, followed up and showed up when he said he would.  He gave me the plans and got them right away.  I got them within 24 hours.  I kind of set the perimeters about my budget and how much I wanted to spend.  I was going to do some of the work and he was very hard to work with.  I went with somebody else.  They are actually doing the work now.

Resulted in bright, beautiful new kitchen with three times the original cabinet and counter spaces. Took about 12 weeks.  We are happy with everything. We purchased their online coupon for a set of plans and liked the concept.  Dirk offered to meet us at a cabinet store to help us visualize what we wanted and we did that.  Dirk sent the plumber, flooring man, electrician.

My husband and I are so pleased with Dirk, Dan, and Alex that we have already recommended them to neighbors and friends.  Dan was an excellent site manager.  He kept in great contact with me and was very responsive to my many, many questions throughout the entire process.  Alex always left the work area tidy, and he did an excellent job rebuilding our kitchen.  We are so happy with our kitchen!
Budget Right Kitchens is a fabulous company to work with, and we will call them again should we have more work to be done in our current or future home.  Not only was the service and work of the highest quality and ahead of schedule, but they gave us the lowest quote of all of the contractors who put a bid on this job.  There were no surprises along the way, and I appreciate the open lines of communication  throughout the entire project.

It was very good. The guy was very professional. I have a problem, I liked all three of the guys that I got quotes from so it was really difficult to choose but I would recommend them to anybody.

Dirk came out to look at my kitchen and discuss remodeling options. He created drawings and managed to incorporate all of my requirements. I'm still not ready to start the work but when I do, I'll definitely work with Budget Right. Dirk was prompt, professional, easy to talk to and he really spent time trying to understand our needs.

He did not finish after we asked  to use a craftsman that we had excellent experience with on a bath remodeling.
Overall we weren't satisfied.

He was very adequate, but not sure I would want to work with him again.  When I called to get pricing on cabinetry, he had to refer me to someone else. I decided I wanted my kitchen remodel one way he suggested another way and wouldn’t budge on the idea. Only designed it  the way he wanted it..  He didn’t leave it open for discussion

.Budget Right Kitchens is an excellent company. He gave me the plans, we met in my kitchen, he kind of talked about what we were looking for and he was very friendly with very good ideas. He gave us some plans, we haven't started using them yet, we are going to make changes to the plans. They are a fine company and they provide excellent service. They didn't do any work other than  come up with the plans. He also offered to help us change the plans if we came up with something else but the plans that we came up with were so different so we didn't get back to them.

The turnaround time for the design was perfect. I have referred him to other people. He gives you the flexibility to go wherever you would like to go with the design in order to get the best price and best product.

They arrived on time and did the work as stated within the deal. The designs turned out well.

The plans did not meet any of my specifications. He told me to get a refund from Angie’s List.
