LOVE Spengler. They came out the same day that I called and he capped off the outside faucet pipe so I could turn the water back on to the rest of my house. In 2 days, they will come back and finish the repair and insulate the pipes. They were slammed with broken water pipe calls so today was just about getting me up and running - which is all I wanted and I'm so thankful for. He gave me several different options in writing and I went with their best service plan because it's well worth it. Office staff are awesome! Fantastic customer service! So much better than the company I was using and had a service plan with. I cancelled my service with the other company and as long as Spengler keeps this up, I will stay with them. It was quite costly, I think, but plumbers are very expensive. Great work with great customer service is priceless. Beware of cheap plumbers - you will get what you pay for.

I had a leak in one of my upstairs toilet and we chose to replace the toilet and that was part of the upgrade. They brought the wrong toilet and they ordered a new one and came out and put the right one in. They are phenomenally responsive and very friendly. He is so clean and professional. They know what they are doing. They get in and get out and do it.

I like them and they did an awesome job on my septic tank. This house is relatively new for us and my poor husband was pailing downstairs in the basement. We're going to have them do some more work for us pretty soon that we need done. I think they're excellent.

It went better than ever!  After we chose an air conditioner, the Spengler team sprang into action and brought a portable air conditioning unit out to our house to keep us cool over night while we waited for our new unit to arrive today.  The customer service manager checked on us throughout the day keeping us informed on when they would arrive to install our new unit.  Sean came out in the afternoon and was the best in class and very knowledgeable.  He went straight to work because a storm was approaching.  When the massive downpour happened, he went got a tent to put up and then worked under the tent during the storm.  We were so concerned about him and told him the install could wait until tomorrow - but he insisted on working and getting our air conditioning back. The tornado sirens went off and he sought shelter with us - but then went right back out in the rain once they went off to finish the job.  We have never experienced service like that - AMAZING!!!!!!!!  I have read other review about this company on Angie's List where people complain because they had to pay for great service.  In my opinion, you cannot buy what we experienced tonight.  NO OTHER COMPANY would do what The Spengler Team did tonight.  They are HEROES!  I would highly recommend them to anyone reading this review.  When you want the BEST - Call Spengler!!!!!!!!

they arrived on time but they insisted on a lenghty multi choice billing option campaign which was off putting i was not interested in an expensive protection plan costing hundreds of dollars i simply wanted to get my toilet working the option i chose they labeled the"band aid"solution offering no guarentee at all i felt like a second hand citizen at this point but the work finally proceeded and the drain was unclogged i was then infomed that the toilet flapper was in need of replacement at an additional cost of 74$ which i knew was excessive the young man allowed me to use some discounts reducing the price to 50$ still pricey but i had him do it cause i was tried of the hassle and just bit the bullet at that point it took him two minutes for a part that you can buy in wal-mart for 2$ all in all way overpriced but hey at least i got a working toilet again a rather essential item

They did a good job but they were way more expensive than anyone else. They did a nice professional job but the cost was outrageous. I will not use them again because of the price.

I think they are overpriced. I was deployed to Iraq and my wife had a baby, so I wanted for her to have no trouble. So, I got a five-year warranty by paying a premium. And I had problem after problem with it. And they had to come out probably a dozen times within the first two months. And at one point I was calling them from Iraq, pretty upset, saying if you don't get it fixed I'm going to have you replace the whole thing. I was not happy about it. But the thing which was really bad was they said they'll finance it for me interest-free over five years, and all they did was sign me up for credit card and I had no idea. And I thought they were doing the financing; Spengler is a pretty big company. I realized after the fact that on my credit report I got a new credit card on there that shows that it's maxed out. Because all they did was they gave me a credit card for the amount of the purchase of that system. Which really got me mad. They do a good job and they're prompt, I just think they're extremely overpriced and I didn't appreciate them not explaining what their financing deal was. If I had known it was another credit card they're going to sign me up for, I wouldn't have done it, I would have just paid for it myself. I could have burrowed the money from the bank just as easy if I needed to, but I wouldn't have done it.

First Mistake. Broke water line trying to change shower unit seal.
Secong Mistake. Called SPENGLER without doing a bit of research.
Third Mistake. Called SPENGLER a second time to verify someone was coming after waiting 90 minutes. Plumer finally arrive 20 minutes later. By the way.....an emergency fee of $160.00 was charged, just for driving out to our house on short notice. I later found out, plenty of plumbers will make an emergency house call without the added expense. Only the usual fees apply. 
Fourth Mistake. Paid $469.00 for someone working for SPENGLER to just cap the lines. Not fix the problem, but just cap the lines. Outrageously overpriced......bordering theft. To fix the problem I was quoted and would've paid approximately between $1800.00 to $3600.00. Yes, that is correct $1800-$3600 just to change the shower/tub unit and plumbing.
I later hired another plumber. Who accomplised the work for $350 including parts and labor.
Please do yourself a huge favor and do a little research and place a few calls. There are still plenty of True Honest Hard Working Professionals looking to do great work at an honest wage.

It was great and the price was reasonable. They are very responsive and wear booties to protect the floors.

Jody did a great job and was very professional.  My only complaint is the price seemed a bit excessive.  I did receive a discount using an internet coupon, so that did help some. Considering it was less than 1 hour of work and the cost of the part was probably less than $200, I would not expect labor costs to be so high.  Typically I will not use a company who I feel overcharges, but I really had little choice this time.  I understand it was after hours when the work was performed, but I requested service during normal hours.  Unfortunately they were backed up with service calls, so it was 8:30 PM before he was able to arrive.
I am grateful that I was able to get the pump replaced.  I just wished it was not so expensive.  I fully support our local businesses and that's why I use them.  However, sometimes they make it hard to come back for services.  If I had an option, I probably would have shopped around more before choosing a company.  This was a crisis, so no time to research and schedule an appointment.

I am always very pleased with the professionalism exhibiting by The Spengler Company and yesterday was no exception.  My service specialist was Garrett K. and he was fantastic!  I had multiple water issues going on in my home.  Garrett was extremely thorough in his explanations of all the possible reasons for the issues and patient with my questions. He offered many solutions plans in detail and I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. think that Garrett is an excellent representative for The Spengler Company and I would recommend him by name to anyone I know!!!!

They came out the same afternoon. They talked me into a 3 year service contract for heating and air conditioning. It was $3,000 for 3 years and it included putting in a new 5 inch wide filter. They reconfigured the ductwork and put in the fancy filter. They are good people and did the job I wanted. We are new to the company. The pricing kind of knocked my socks off but it is probably worth it considering it is for 3 years for both heating and air conditioning. They also say that we go to the top of the list for a service call.

The people who answered the phones were very professional and got a service man right out the next day.  When he came, he performed some tests on the water and show us the various levels of substances in the water including the chlorine level.  We were shocked to see what was in it.  He then prepared an estimate with many options, from the simple filter to a whole house water softener.  We opted to purchase the whole house water softener.  The team that came to install the softener and water filtration system was very professional and respectful.  We love our water - it is pure.  And we will definitely use Spengler again.  We know are having them come out to give us an estimate on an indoor air purification system.
I have read some of the reviews on this site and I have to say I am shocked.  I had the exact opposite experience than others.  I would highly recommend this company to others.

Overall not pleased.  Though the quality of work was good, the price and professionalism was not.   First, they tried to sell us this 10 year warranty and package deal for over $10,000.00.  Of course that was a shocked.   We went with the lower offer of $3,500 to repair the line and install a pressure reducer at the meter.   Big drop in price for the same work.  
However, their pricing scheme is not what angered me.  The day they arrived for work, I overheard the lead, Chad, tell the workers that he never heard of installing a pressure reducer at the meter before and that I probably didn't know what I was talking about and instructed workers NOT install the pressure reducer.  I was shocked and interrupted.  I told him that he was installing it and that it was in the work order to do so and that I was paying Spengler to do so.  That should have been of end of discussion right there.  Customer is always right especially when they've done their research.
Well, he insisted that I did not need a pressure reducer at the meter and I insisted that he install one.  I told him of my conservations with the water company and the history.  Spengler didn't believe me and thus I had to go through the headache and trouble to contact the water company and to get them to send someone out to pressure test the line for Spengler and prove my case.  Needless to say I was not happy about this and the water company was not happy about this. The water company did send a man out finally to pressure test the line for Spengler.  Afterward, the water company representative recommend to Spengler to install a pressure reducer at the meter like I requested. Thus Spengler finally did. I don't know why I had to go through all this.  My husband was angry and called Spengler and talked to a manager.  They said Chad was to apologize but he came the next day to collect the other half of the bill and never said anything.

Not well. Overpriced. Wasn't leaking when they came but leaking after they left.

Found water leaking around our bathtub faucet & had water already on
the basement floor.  This was on a Saturday morning that I called
Spengler.  He came out and capped the hot/cold pipes to prevent any more
leaking.  He said his van was in the shop and he didn't have the right
tools to cut the tub surround (had loaned his Dremel to someone, and
they had not returned the tool).  So he proceeded to chip away at the
opening in our tub surround, to get his hand in the opening to cap the
lines (he didn't offer the option of opening an access panel behind the
toilet in the other bathroom).  He did not offer to fix the problem that
day but asked that I call back on Monday.  He left with a mess in the
tub and charged their premium service call of $139.00!

It looked like a simple adjustment and they went on to do work and charged me over $200. I will never use them again.

We called late on a Saturday night when our seven year old central A/C unit stopped putting out cold air.  We were able to leave a message but encountered some confusion from the call center on whether we could get someone out over the weekend.  After some follow up on our part  we were contacted by a Spengler scheduler Sunday morning.  The technician came out as promised, was professional, and correctly diagnosed the issue as a faulty capacitor.  However when he recommended we spend over 4500 dollars to replace the part plus the fan assembly for peace of mind  and a five year warranty I  was not happy.  To be fair this was only their best recommended course of action.  There were other very pricey options that eventually came down to replacing the part that I later found costs about 20 dollars for over 500 dollars. This was termed a band aid on the pre printed price option sheet and was presented as only a short term fix.  That is what we opted to do.  I do not fault the technician and understand Spengler wants to make money but believe their business model stresses very high profit margins over customer care.  This was our second quote from Spengler for repair work the first being about 7400 to repair a couple of small condensation spots in our dining room ceiling from ac ducts above.  We will not be using them again.

My experience with them was very poor. They took forever to get the job done. Their prices were extremely high. Their quality of work was good.

I saw their advertisement and after that I checked them on Angie’s List so I made my decision of using them.  They do plumbing and home remodeling.  They were really good.  I was very impressed with their work.  The lights in the kitchen look really good.  Their price was a little high.

Excellent service!  The workmen were polite and very clean.  They had shoe covers anytime they were in the house, they cleaned up everything they did, and were done very quickly.  Before they left they reviewed everything they did with me and made shure I had no questions.

They are very efficient, friendly, and do a great job!  They always make sure to wear the protective footies over their shoes to make sure they don't make a mess and are readily available when you call to come out.  We have a membership with them so we would be a top priority on their list to service.

The job was fine. Their price is kind of on the expensive side. The quality of work is very good and my sump pump hasn't been really tested since they put it in. It seems good and he was good about explaining things. I would call him for certain in the future.
