Love the new flooring and carpeting. Quick turnaround time and reasonably priced. The salesman was very good. Negatives: The flooring installer damaged my antique baby grand piano and nicked paint off the wall moving furniture. The carpet installer put a hole in my wall moving something. Neither mentioned it to me; I found the damage while cleaning up. Spoke with 2 different people regarding this and have yet to see any resolution.

Professional service every step of the way, with good communication and quality end result. Will use again!

The woman who gave the estimate was professional and easy to work with. My issue was with the installers. The lead installer barely spoke English and the other not at all. They arrived with masks on and promptly removed them. I gestured for the lead installer to pull his back up and he did briefly but then took it off. They spent 7 hours in my house without masks, and I was extremely uncomfortable. Then one spend nearly 25 minutes in my bathroom and was hacking. Empire needs to enforce the wearing of masks and social distancing.

2 Young men, very polite installed my carpet, 2 small bedrooms in less than 2 hours. But there must have been a mishap. One of the installers must have accidentally cut the area rugs that I had on one of the bedroom floors. He did not report it to me which was wrong. I discovered it several days later. Boy was I mad. So I called Empire and filed a claim. After some phone calls and a letter they agreed to compensate me for the full amount of the rug. But no one ever apologized. If you do use Empire Today make sure you check your furnishings for damage after they complete the job.

Installers were so professional. They did a fabulous job.cleaned up every inch of dirt and dust and put everything back in its place I highly recommend this company. Would certainly use them again

Got vinyl plank flooring installed and very pleased with it. Had a great value price and the installers were very professional and knew what they were doing.

Very uneven experience. Several sets of installers. First said job could not be done. Empire wanted to keep 15% for canceling the job yet they were the ones who cancelled and told me to call the 800 number to get my deposit back. Talking to a supervisor didn?t help. When I balked and called the sales rep she sent another set of installers who did the job and told me the other team didn?t want to be bothered doing the concrete work that was required. But they left a hole in one boards and filled it with wood putty. I guess hoping I wouldn?t notice. I found it the evening they left. I called the company and they sent them back a week later. They said the one board could be cut out and replaced but didn?t have what they needed to do it. They would return in 2 days. I waited 4 before I called the company even though they knew they never showed up. Because they called earlier that day to check and when I said they didn?t come they said they would call me back. No one did. Finally a week later a repair crew came they wanted to tear up the floor from the place where the hole was all the way to where it ended at the stairs. About 1/3rd the floor. When I said I was told the one board could be replaced, they did it but damaged 2 more boards so they had to rip them out plus the board they replaced. A simple repair took over 4 hours. The finished result is a beautiful floor but I?m sure other companies would be a lot less aggravating.
