Reliance was excellent. They did the initial inspection the same day I called. The person was polite and courteous and explained that they needed to come back out with a camera to diagnose the issue. The second crew came out two days later and diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate. I took a day to check prices with a few other firms and found that Reliance was in the ballpark. When I agreed to the work, they secured the permits, scheduled the inspections and performed the work flawlessly. They communicated frequently and I was very pleased with the level of service and professionalism.

I've used them four or five times. They're reasonable, on time, honest, and they always seem to get the job done. I like them a lot.

Our master bath is 20 years old with dark green toilet, bidet and tub. To repair the toilet, which was running constantly, a conversion kit was required to meet current standards. We opted for the repair rather than buying a new toilet in order to keep the color scheme intact. We're not happy about spending so much on a repair but this seems to be due to Kohler rather than to Reliance Plumbing. Andre explained right away that we would need to buy the conversion kit or replace the toilet. The kit was ordered and Andre came back to make the repair a few days later. So far so good - there is a one year warranty.

I think the person should have done the work with the bill but he quoted me more for it. The work he did was fine. I would rate him down for professionalism.

The plumber came in, looked at the job and knew what needed to be done. Highly recommend them

Overall, it went very well. He was polite, professional, on time, and the price was fair. He forgot to bring with caulking so I am going to do that myself. He apologized and it wasn't really a big issue.

The plumber arrived on time, assessed what we needed to have done, and was ready to work. The important factor was arriving on time because we coordinated the time of service with our village Public Works because they had to turn off the water to the house at the main service valve in the street. Kevin removed the old main water shutoff inside the house, installed a new valve, removed a set of old copper pipes used for a water softener which was long-gone, and installed about 10 feet of new copper pipes and fittings. He test fit everything, made sure it was what we wanted, and completed the work.The village came back out to turn on the main water supply, Kevin tested everything and checked all his work. He also made sure the village Public Works person sealed our water meter with a new copper wire and lead seal. Our village installs this seal to validate the the work was done by a licensed plumber and the plumber or homeowner did not do anything to bypass or modify the meter. Kevin also looked at a leaky faucet handle in our bathroom. We were hoping he could fix it, but he said the parts would cost more than a new faucet. We're planning to remodel that bathroom anyway so we'll make due with it for the time-being.

I was given a time range in which the plumber would arrive and I received a phone call when he was on his way. He arrived right on time. Keith came in to see the work that needed to be done and returned with the tools that he needed. He wore "booties" which I really appreciate as I have new hardwoods and carpets. He did a beautiful job at installing the new toilets and faucets and they work perfectly. He used a shop vac to clean up any debris and wiped up any small water spillage. Keith removed all of the old fixtures and packaging and garbage so I was left with no mess to clean up. He even went back at the very end to make sure the sinks had no drips and tweaked one that had a little bit of leakage. Keith was so professional and pleasant during the all of the work and I would definitely request him next time I hire Reliance Plumbing. What a great experience!

Keith was punctual, efficient & very knowledgeable with the repairs for my Aunt's 50 year old house.Before he left he checked over all the plumbing in the house to make sure we would not have any issues when we put the house on the market. He was very pleasant & even helped the garbage man lift a heavy box into the garbage truck when he came to the door for assistance. That is absolutely above & beyond. I wish he worked out in the western suburbs. He would definitely be my "Go To" Plumber!

They told me I had to pay for 50% of the work upfront. I wrote the check on a Monday when he came over. I called them back the same afternoon. They had already gone and got a permit for the job. I was calling to cancel the call and he told me they already cashed the check. I then proceeded to call the bank and put a stop on the check. I told them I would pay for the permit since they had already received that. They are now charging me $750 for having a technician over at my house to do the estimate and work up for job. The thing that is most distressing is that although I am a very patient and respectful person this man began screaming at me over the phone. This company is completely unprofessional and I would never use them.

The experience was great. The plumber, John Holden showed up on time and finished the job promptly. I really appreciated that they came out on a Saturday. Overall, it went very well.

Did not know a plumber. Called Reliant from Angies List. I did not know the extent of the problem and wanted it diagnosed as quickly as possible, Any time you have water coming out of a wall, it is not a good thing. Plumber came out in 2 hours for estimate. Said he could complete the work that afternoon. Quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the failed facet from the basement without damaging the exterior. Relocated the shut-off to a usable location. Let's face it. The plumber who installed that should have never let it go. Plumber showed me replaced and damaged pipes without me asking. Knowledge A+, Workmanship A+, Communication A+, Prompness A+, Price A- (not cheap, but I prefer to pay for quality with something like plumbing.) Put their magnet on the hot water heater so that I will have their number available for emergencies. Very satified with the service.

Andre and his crew were great and reliable. The loading dock plumbing replacement went great from start to finish. Initially there looked like there would be a hiccup getting the correct size of ductile iron piping that we required, but Andre was able to find it and get it delivered on time. For the basin that they replaced in the other parking lot, we only chose to replace the top basin, and the bottom basin must have been disintegrating because when we came back after the weekend, there was literally a sink hole where the drain used to be. Reliance came out within hours and fixed the problem without an added cost, and we haven't had a problem since. A plus to this company is that they guarantee their work for at least a year after installation.

They are very good and reliable. The best thing about them is that they don?t have any special weekend rates. So they will come in the weekends and won?t charge you any extra rate.

Bathtub drain stopped draining all together. We called at 4pm and John was at hour house within an hour. He looked at the overall situation and observed some old plumbing which was causing the trouble. He was able to clear the drain so it works and offered a 30 day warranty on his work. John also evaluated the bathroom plumbing and recommended a couple of options to properly repair the drain for the tub and vanity. We're just bought this house and are planning to upgrade our late-1970's era bathroom anyway. We were very impressed with his services and will use this company again.

This experience was great. We were very impressed with John Holden. The day started badly with water found flowing out under the bathroom sink, and the wife and I got very grumpy with each other over it, and flipped a coin to see who would make the dreaded call to "the plumber" and stay home from work. The whole Reliance experience changed our outlook on everything. Reliance took our call immediately at 8:15 in the morning, and promised to have someone there between 9 and 11 am. About 9:10 we received a call that a plumber was less than 30 minutes away. About 9:20 John Henry Holden pulled up in a fully equipped plumbing truck. By then, we had thought of other add-on plumbing questions and issues we wanted to ask. John was a very good listener, and patiently addressed about half a dozen plumbing and sink related issues, and gave us sage advice that avoided uneccessary overkill on some things we were thinking about. We even told him of the difficulty we were having in trying to come up with a workable solution for a total re-do of our one dinky 1960's bathroom, a challenge that several contractors and bathroom designers have thrown their hands up over. John gave us some immediate design and reconfiguration ideas that were so astoundingly good, yet pretty simple, that it left us speechless as to why no one had ever thought of that before. We actually found ourselves getting EXCITED about the plumbing possibilities, and here, a day later, we can't wait for John to come back and do some other work for us. As an aside, John spoke very highly about his employer, and how truly happy and thankful he was to work there....and holy cow, when is the last time you heard THAT coming from any tradesman. We are very impressed with Reliance and it's people, and hope John gets a very well earned raise this year. At this point, we plan to use Reliance only for many years ahead.

The fellow who came out was excellent and did an excellent job. He took something that I couldn't do because he was a little smart. He certainly knew how to do what needed to be done pretty easily. It would have taken me hours to do that and he did that in half an hour. It included the faucet which we needed to replace so that was all in there and it was a good value for the price I paid. They were reliable, came out when they were supposed to and did the work. The experience has been excellent. It's been months and months and months and I have had nothing but a perfect service. The kitchen faucet is working fine.

They worked on a gas grill line for me and they fixed something that was wrong with our shower, as it was drooping. They have been doing some line guarding work with our sump pump which still hasn't been finished, but would be resolved shortly. I chose them as they are a local company which was important to us. We had some issues with the first couple of things that they did with the sump pump, but I think it was based on the individual that they had sent. My wife called them and spoke to the owner after they came out for the second time and told him about our concerns. So, he changed the crew that had come out and sent more experienced guys. He appreciated us for calling him and letting him know about our concerns rather than just switching companies. They are also going to take the money off that we have already spent on 2 other occasions when they had come out to do the work on the sump pump. We were very satisfied with the owners response and their responsiveness was excellent.

John was great. Diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Very professional.

They thought it was four feet down, but it was actually six feet down and it was solid clay. They didn't charge us any extra. They were fine. It was an ugly, ugly hole.

They were very nice and I felt very comfortable with them. They gave me $20 off which was appreciated and I would use them again. They were there for over two hours.

They are very responsive and very professional. They make suggestions on how things could work more easily. They really try to help me with making things work better. The only thing was they were a little bit on the expensive side for the job they did last time.

He went into the crawl space to fix the leak and thus avoided damaging the wall. Other plumbers I've used were not as intelligent. I wish I knew how inexpensive this job was and I would have avoided the water damage.

Reliance is polite and knowledgeable. Andre was always on time and there to supervise and make sure things were done right. His employees were also very knowledgeable. The sewer basin and piping was replaced without a glitch (it took them about a day). They came back the next day to finish cementing the piping and to replace a sewer ring in another parking lot. The next week there was a huge sinkhole where they replaced the sewer ring because they had overlooked that a piece of the sewer had collapsed and after heavy rains it was just pulling all the backfill and fresh asphalt into the basin. However, I called Andre and his crew was back out to fix their mistake in less than 3 hours. It was done right the second time and there was no extra charge for the extra work, because they guarantee it for a year. It seemed a little pricey, but the job was done right and the guarantee is definitely some extra security. Also, they asked for 50% of payment up front, but we gave them 20% and they were happy, as they said they needed it for supplies.
