THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THE PEOPLE THAT DID THE WORK WERE CLEAN, PROFESSIONAL, AND POLITE.

They were very lax in getting back to me so I ended up going with another company.

Great. I have always worked with Kevin McCann when replacing windows. I used McCann in our previous residence (house built in 1916) and now use McCann with our new home (built in 1892). Over the last two years I have replaced most of the old windows in our house and have used McCann for all of it. They are very responsive and work with your needs. The quoted time for getting the windows in depends on the manufacturer - the windows are custom built. I was quoted anywhere from 4-8 weeks wait time and I think it only took about 4 weeks for them to come in. The work was scheduled promptly as soon as the windows came in and Vlad and his crew did a beautiful job. The job included replacing trim on the window exterior, and placing new trim around 2 windows and the door in the new addition to the house. The price was well worth it; the windows look absolutely stunning.

Ken Scott was our contact with McCann, and he was late to all 3 appointments we had with him, sometimes by over an hour. There was a certain Pella product we had decided we wanted after visiting the Pella store. He did his best to talk us out of it, and then quoted us a price on that item twice the amount of every other estimate we got. It took a while to get the quote from him, and after we did, we sent him some questions. We never heard back from him. I don't know if he thought we weren't serious (we were and gave the job to someone else), or whether he wasn't happy that we didn't want to change the look of our house as he was suggesting. Like someone else on the list, we worried that the service would only get worse with McCann once we signed a contract.

Received quote from Kevin McCann was quiet responsive and professional until I went to his office to sign the contract. In which I pointed out that I didn't need his company to do the window trim. He said that it was oversight on his part and the window trim should not have been included in his proposal and I asked him at this time what would be the estimate if I didn't want window trim. Kevin stated that he would not work for the price on the proposal to include the window trim even though I didn't want window trim. Kevin stated that people make mistakes. When I asked him if then if I wanted to sign the contract then he stated that he wouldn't do it for the price on the proposal to include the wood trim on the proposal.

Ken came to our home to give us an estimate. Based on what we spoke about I supposed he decided that we could not afford to have his company replace our windows. That was an erroneous assumption on his part. To be fair, what we wanted for new windows was not what he carried, however, to not even give us an estimate (we asked for one)for what he did have was puzzling to say the least. Ken was very nice about it, but he just did not seem interested in the possibility of doing business with us.

It didn't. I contacted McCann because of their wonderful recommendation from Angie's List -- and them being awarded as a top supplier. We didn't move forward with McCann because they were not responsive in every communication, I had to pro-actively call the sales guy Ken. He never followed up on anything, including when I told him the our decision date. I figured if it was this hard to get attention before we bought, then it would be even harder after we signed on.

Ken Scott was pleasant to deal with and did a good job describing all of our options for the windows. The only disappointment was that we were told the installation would happen before Thanksgiving and it didn't. The installation took about 2 days and the crew was very professional and overall did an excellent job. I love the new windows! The house feels so comfortable now and I'm hoping our heating bills will be less.

McCann's people did amazing work. I am a designer by trade and have an exceptionally critical eye. At a minimum, I expect perfectly mitered corners and all carpentry work to be cut tight and installed square. Vlad and his crew did exceptionally impressive work that has drawn comment from everyone who has walked into my house. Kevin McCann was prompt, helpful and responsive even when I had issues with the window painters (a different crew). The crew was also the nicest, showed up on time and did the work in two days, as promised. They were so quiet and good at cleaning up that I barely knew they were there. McCann's prices were almost identical to Pella's quote, but McCann gives a 5 year warranty compared to Pella's two years. McCann is a Pella-certified installer. Overall, McCann was worth every penny. I plan on using them to replace my sliding door and storm doors (as soon as I pay off the windows :-)).

The representative was late for the appointment. I called the company about 30 minutes after the appointment time. There was an apparent mixup. But the representative, Mr. Scott, said that he could make it to my home within 45 minutes. I explained that I had an appointment with another company. Mr. Scott stated that he would still like to come. He would apologize to the representative from the other company explaining that he was late. So I agreed to have him come because I had a leak and needed to fix the problem. Mr. Scott was quite detailed. He actually climbed outside the 3rd floor window to look at the window and the situation creating the leak. He did not however apologize to the other representative when he showed up. He did provide me with a viable alternative, which meant I only had to replace my living room window as opposed to both the bedroom and living room. The install was to be approx. 4-6 weeks. It was in fact 9 weeks, not counting the week of Thanksgiving.

Very smoothly. They did a fabulous, competent job and the windows look beautiful.

The service was good. The price seemed reasonable and I was able to get a hold of them easily. It turned out that they do not do replacement glass. They only install new windows. To use them I would have had to contract with a glass replacement shop and them. I found another firm that did both glass and storms for the same price quoted for just the storms. Mainly, I wish that I had been clear up front that they did not replace window glass.

Ken Scott came out to do an estimate for windows. He was prompt and thorough. I learned a lot from talking to him. He repeatedly said that his company is known for quality work, not the lowest price. I was curious to see just how high his price would be, but he never got back to me with an estimate, and I decided to make other arrangements.

They wasted my time. They never sent the bid. They must just like to drive around and meet people. That's weird.

We dealt with Kenneth Scott who was very polite, professional, honest, straightforward and easy to deal with. They did everything they said they would and did an outstanding job. Very high quality products and service. Punctual and a pleasure to deal with. Their workmen were outstanding, polite, and they cleaned up very well when done. Hardly knew they were there except for the brand new window. Would recommend them in a heartbeat and would hire them again without question. They are not cheap, but the quality of their work justifies the cost. We have custom made interior trim and I asked them to reuse it if possible. Not only did they reuse it, they did not damage it at all and they installed it better than it was in the first place. This was our best experience with a contractor ever.

We were extremely impressed with the quality of the product and workmanship. They were quick (a day and a half for the full job), the price was very reasonable (almost half what some others quoted) and the windows look great. They showed great sensitivity to the issues involved in working with an older house such as ours. Our only complaint was that their clean-up was incomplete in places and there were some bits of glass left inside and outside the house, some of which we discovered the hard way (ouch!)

Absolutely horrible. It was clear that they pray on uneducated consumers and talked in circles about products. To add injury to insult, they were the most self absorbed representative I've ever met. Going on an on and on about themselves and how fabulous they were, not the company, him personally. Disaster!

Ken Scott came to my house and discussed windows with me and took initial measurements for the quote. He was outstanding, responsive and communicates extremely promptly. I haven't met a better salesmen anywhere to date. Another gentleman came to my house to take the final measurements. He was very nice and quick with his tasks. About 6-7 weeks later my windows were installed. The crew of 3 lead by Vlad were very professional, nice and very clean. They left every room they were in clean of any debris whatsoever. The windows are a dream come true. I have not had windows with screens for the 5 years I have lived here and I get excited every time I feel a breeze through my house when they are open. It was a very positive experience and I couldn't be happier so far with the product, the company and their representatives.

The firm was very good. The estimate was right on and they did quality work. The windows look great. I was less pleased with the mess left outside some of the windows (screws, small pieces of glass, trim cuttings, etc.), but it was small irritants after an otherwise high quality job.

The representative who visited me, Ken, was very knowledgeable and explained the difference in the three types of windows he could offer me. I thought the price was fair for what I would have purchased but decided to go with another vendor, due to some financial constraints on my part. I would recommend them for Pella windows for certain!

I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism I encountered at McCann. My representative, Ken Scott, was highly knowledgeable about the products offered, and very thorough in his presentation. It's evident that McCann aims to create ''customers for life.'' The installation could not have gone more smoothly. I hardly knew they were here! One of the reasons I had chosen McCann was their claim that they treat your home as if it were their own. I found that to be absolutely true!

They helped us replace a very large window (5.5 x 7 ft) with a picture window and two casements on either side. The sales guy was a little too salesey for us when he made his pitch, but he had the best price and when we tried contacting him he was always responsive. The installation was done very well and they left our home clean. We are very satisfied.

KEVIN MCCANN AND MCCANN WINDOWS AND EXTERIORS DID THE WORK REPLACING 2 CASEMENT WINDOWS WITH ONE AWNING WINDOW. KEVIN GAVE US MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM AND WENT THROUGH THE PROS/CONS. HE CAME TO OUR HOUSE SEVERAL TIMES TO REVIEW THE PROJECT, AND WHILE MY WIFE THOUGHT HE WAS A LITTLE TOO SLICK, I FOUND HIM JUST ''PROFESSIONAL''. HIS ESTIMATE WAS MIDDLE OF ROAD IN THE 3 I RECEIVED, SOME WINDOW COMPANIES DID NOT RETURN MY CALLS PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE SMALL JOB. MCCANN GOT THE WINDOW INSTALLED IN ONE DAY, CLEANED UP AND IT LOOKS GREAT.
