"I assume you mean could NOT be happier with the work, as I know you were extremely pleased. Must be a type-o ?"

This large bed room was painted in two days. The crew was surprising quiet as they went about their work. The room looks great.
We are very pleased.
Perfect. From my initial meeting with Roy Schneeberger to receive the estimate, I instinctively felt I would like to work with this company. Roy walked through the rooms and prepared an itemized and detailed estimate. Which, by the way, was exactly what I paid at the end. They probably won't be the least expensive, but the quality of their work was superior and worth the cost. I had 4 painters on site for 5-1/2 days. They were punctual, worked professionally, quietly, and as a team. Their work was meticulous. You could tell they had been working together for a long time, Everyone spoke English, so communication was never a problem. I am very happy.
Prompt, courteous, professional, considerate, cooperative, extremely competent, trustworthy.
We had used a single painter for 20-some years. A total perfectionist and honorable guy. He retired. Tried three other companies with very disappointing results. We have found his replacement with Schneeberger and his staff. Trust them implicitly in capabilities, attention to detail, professionalism. If they are not happy with a 'spot' they independently chose to address it. Their pride in 'perfection' is a welcome relief. Their quality of work is superior. Did not hesitate to leave them alone in the house.
Highly recommend.
My family room needed to be freshened-up and wallpaper needed to be removed. I have used Bill Schneeberger several times before, and have never been disappointed. Roy, his son who is taking over the business, came over for the estimate and was very thorough and honest with me. I am trying to keep the cost down and he gave me great suggestions. I decided to remove the wallpaper myself, with the understanding that the wall may need repair after I was done. Roy stated clearly that an hourly rate would apply for that work, since we didn't know the wall condition.
The wall did of course have problems, but the repair is FLAWLESS. I can't emphasize enough the high quality work done by this crew. The walls were thoroughly prepared and sanded, including the trim. Prep is where lesser quality painters skimp on the work. If you want quality work, I highly recommend Bill Schneeberger Painting and Decorating. Price might be a little higher, but the professionalism and workmanship are worth the money.
"The member asked for an estimate for work to be done in November of 2002. By the age of the house, you may know that there were multiple layers of paint on all surfaces which needed to be removed. She scheduled the work to be done on a set date in December. When we arrived on that date, she decided not to do it until at least the following March. However, she put it off for 4 more years and the work was done in March of 2006. When we arrived she decided to have us strip and patch many more items than were on the estimate from 2002. Not knowing if color changes would be made, our estimate listed some surfaces as a "cost per coat" or a "cost per hour". This was really a restoration project done in a condominium without cross ventilation. During the sanding of windows after stripping which had to be open to do the project strong lake breezes (this condo has no buildings between it and Lake Michigan) did a job on our carefully plastic which was taped over doorways. In order to get to a water source, the plastic had to be opened to the kitchen from time to time. Unfortunately, some dust did get into the kitchen. There were no laundry facilities with a deep sink to work with. Therefore, the newly remodeled kitchen or the bathroom sink were the only sinks on the upper floor of the building where she lives. I do believe that once or twice, some water used to clean brushes or rollers spattered on some of the cabinets and was easily removed as it was noticed. By the time we left, all paint spatters that occurred while we were there were completely cleaned up. The member was not at home to know what time we arrived and the few times we did come late were because of picking up supplies for her job. She did not discuss with us any further problems at the time of the work, but when the number of hours of stripping of over 90 year old paint surfaces were totaled, the member ignored the invoice sent to her for the last $850.00 of restoration work done. She has never responded to any attempt to work out any complaints and it is my opinion that she was so upset from the upset of her home that she is grading out of anger, not fact. As you can see from the other reports, our reputation both here and with the BBB is perfect. I guess no matter how hard you try, you cannot please all the people all the time. And this time, after 2 1/2 years (from March of 2006 to July of 2008), she is still angry enough to fill out a report for Angie's list. The quality of the work was excellent, but that is not always enough. We now use a vacuum sander when sanding such surfaces since we cannot always rely on plastic and tape, so we learned something new."
"Thanks. You're always a pleasure to work with. Hope all is well!"
