We were very pleased with the project. The workers were courteous and conscientious. They worked diligently. At the end of the day they would clean up the driveway so it didn't affect our parking. The material and the dumpster were placed on the one side of the driveway to minimize impact on us. The resulting project looks great. For both the siding and the roof, they brought ample samples so we could see how they would look. A heavier roof shingle line was offered at no extra cost. When we had problems locating paint for shutters, the sales rep went out and purchased a gallon, no charge to us. When we did a walk through at the project completion there were few items to address, and those were handled expeditiously handled. The front porch column work was done with some nice appearance touches, at no extra cost. The end result of all the work was that our house looks great!!! Super job by the BAK Brothers. We have had a number of positive comments from neighbors on how good the house looks. We would have no hesitation recommending them.

Bak Brothers did a wonderful job on my house.  I had them replace all my siding which was old and missing in several parts.  They also adjusted  some areas to make the porch look nicer.  They replaced 6 large windows in my house and the steel back door.  Finally they added and adjusted some outdoor lights. It's a old tall city house that butt's up to another house on one side.  They worked nicely with my neighbors to schedule the work on that side of the house.  They guys that worked on the project were great.  I would only see them when I got home, but they would show me some pictures of the work they did and were great about keeping me informed on what and how they were doing.  I could see they never took any shortcuts and the work they did was excellent.  My neighbors on both side commented on how nice the transformation was.  I got quotes from 4 companies including Bak which was a referral from a work friend.  From the start of the process they stood apart from the others with the questions they asked and how the proposal they presented.  During the project I made some adjustments and changes to what I wanted done and they were flexible and open with all of that.  One of the reasons I choose them was because they could do several types of jobs under with their company instead of me having to hire and schedule different companies to work together.  For example it was a lot easier having the electrical work done by their guy then going out and finding someone.   I had a lot of cable wires as well as some window guards.  They were very careful on taking these down and putting them back up.  The hid the wires under the siding (after asking me if that was ok) which really cleaned up the look.   Overall the house turned out great!  I plan to use them again for future projects.

The whole organization was responsive and eager to please. The owner who bid the project was available and followed through to make sure project was done correctly. The crew that worked on the house was great. Always leaving the place clean and working hard. The job manager stopped by frequently and did a great job of communicating when issues arose. Both the crew chief and job manager explained the process and kept us updated to make sure the project went smoothly.  We were very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Bak Brothers for a siding project!

It went very well.  The craftsmanship is outstanding.  It was a great experience working with Artur, Norbert and the entire team.  And the end result was truly outstanding.

The service and attention to details that we were provided was outstanding. After placing all the windows and screens, my wife noticed a small tear in one of the screens and Bak brothers came back and replaced the screen, no questions asked. They also came to our house after we found a small amount of paint on the sidewalk and power washed our entire sidewalk! They truly aspire to make every customer experience memorable. Indeed they deliver!

We had been searching for a year for someone to re-side our garage, but were frustrated because no one seemed available or even to understand what we needed. One day, Artur was at a neighbor's discussing their project, and I asked for his card. I had a feeling Bak Brothers would be the right guys to turn our sad-looking garage into something great. That very day, Artur went ahead and took measurements and my info, discussed our needs and got back with a thorough plan.
We were thinking that we would have to wait until October to get the project done, but there was a cancellation in late August and we started the very next day! Norbert was so pleasant to work with, and Andy and Victor expertly repaired a rotting sill plate, reinforced studs, sheathed and wrapped the whole thing in just hours. They worked very hard and stayed very late each day and finished on the third day! The end product is stunning, and even the neighbors are happy!
Throughout the project, Norbert was always available to talk to, and very patient. I can't leave out thanking  Adam, Ben and Wesley, too.  I feel like the entire company came over to help us with our little project. Bak Brothers made us feel like our small project was just as important as their bigger jobs. This means so much to us.
I just can't thank Bak Brothers enough.

We had the wood trim of our ranch house painted, including the wood trim below the gutters.  The painters found that there was water leaking from three corners of the gutters.  The wood underneath these three corners looked rotted.  Once we found that there was a leak, we asked Bak to come to our home for an estimate.  Ben came right away and gave me a quote which I thought was reasonable.  We completed the contract, where Bak clearly showed pictures of the areas that needed fixing.  Once the contract was completed, the work crew showed up the next day.  It was a very hot, humid day.  They fixed the leaks that day and replaced the rotten wood.  Bak provided the wood, which they primed.  After the new wood was in place and the work was done, I painted the new wood to match the rest of the wood trim around the house. 
In particular, the crew removed the corner part of the gutter, replaced the fascia and soffit where needed with new primed wood, and reattached the gutter with a new matching gutter corner. 
There was a rain a few days after the fixes were completed.  When I inspected the gutters, I found one of the fixed corners had a small leak.  I called Bak Brothers and Artur arranged for the workman to come out the next day and fixed this one corner.    I have not seen any more leaks from the fixed corners.
We appreciate Bak's responsiveness, having these leaks fixed and the rotted wood replaced. 

From the beginning Bak Brothers treated me with respect and attentiveness. They were able to answer all of my questions and always accessible. They were creative with problem solving, gave great recommendations and were honest with the estimate/ cost. They handled the permit acquisition and kept me up to date with the entire process. They were punctual and efficient when it came time for them to work on the deck. They cleaned up the work area after finishing. My neighbors were very impressed and kept coming by to get a business card. They quality of work is impeccable and it exceeded my expectations. My deck is now beautiful. They even came by the next day to ensure I was happy with the work and to answer any questions I may still have. Wonderful company. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Bak Brothers. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our project, from siding to roofing to window replacement. After interviewing several other contractors we knew immediately that Bak Brothers was our choice. I am extremely pleased with the new roof, gutters, fascia and soffits that the Bak Brothers installed a few weeks ago. The entire process, from quote to install, was easy. Artur Bak came out to the house to measure the roof and provided a quote just days later. Artur explained all components of the quote, providing pictures and commentary within the presentation, and showed the utmost respect while doing so. He returned to provide a sample of the shingle I had selected so I could ensure the color was as expected. Within the week of signing the contract, members of his team returned to re-measure, discuss final colors and answer more questions. The Bak Brothers were able to schedule almost immediately upon receiving the shingles.

During the installation, a few problems appeared as they tore off my existing roof. The team called me to discuss and provide cost for the additional repair. At this point, while I was offsite, I had complete trust in their handling of the project and moved forward without pictures. Artur provided the pictures of the problem areas later for my records.

The team was prompt on location and cleaned the entire worksite upon their departure. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism shown throughout the project and HIGHLY recommend the Bak Brothers for your projects. It is my intention to use this team again for siding and deck replacement in the future.

Since we moved in, our laundry was located on the 1st floor in the kitchen, behind bi-fold doors; our house was built in 1972 so having your laundry in your kitchen must have been popular. Doing laundry was a miserable experience as there was no work space.  We called Artur Bak of Bak Brothers Remodeling to receive an estimate on our proposed project.  Artur was very responsive.  My husband insisted we couldn't get the basement remodeled UNLESS Bak was willing to fix any potential cracks possibly hidden underneath the 1970's wood paneling.  Everything I asked Artur to do, and if projects I wanted to add, but had to find out estimates first, he was willing to accommodate.  
-cracks in basement were filled with sealant and made flush with wall
-removal of faux wood paneling and installation of drywall & painting
-installed recessed lighting throughout basement & new electric outlets per building code
-installed a frameless glass shower door, vanity and toilet
-doors installed-including a pocket door between office & bathroom
-baseboard and base shoe installed per customer's specifications
-installed porcelain tiles on basement floor
-painted all the rooms of the basement per customer's specifications

Quality Work.  Quality People.  From start to finish, it was a pleasure working with Bak Brothers, Inc.  Artur  was very professional, detailed, and knowledgeable. He clearly explained  the product being installed, the steps of the project, and the pricing. Norbert, kept  the project moving (despite a spring snowstorm), communicated well, and promptly addressed any questions or concerns I had. Also, kudos to the crew- they were punctual, friendly, cleaned up the site each day, answered my many questions, and above all did quality work.  I was very impressed with Bak Brothers for the open lines of communication, responsiveness, attention to detail and quality of their work. It was my impression that they would not be happy with the project until you were happy with the project. I would definitely recommend Bak Brothers. I look forward to using them again.

Two Words:  Class Act.
I had to reside my entire house which was cedar and if you've ever had cedar it is high maintenance, something I was done with.  Due to the cost of a project of this nature, I tried my best to do my homework.  Did the standard 3 estimates, plus one or two more for giggles; all for James Hardie Siding.  The vast majority of the estimates were all within a couple thousand dollars, while significant, I also put a high value on workmanship.
Artur was my initial point of contact, he arrived for each appointment on time and explained in great detail every aspect of the job.  His presentation/quote was comprehensive, knew more about my house than I did and pointed out potential problem areas.
Norbert was the project manager who supervised the crew and installation.  Both Artur and Norbert are top notch, no games, straight shooters which is what I like.
I don't think it is reasonable to take on a project of this magnitude and not have an issue arise here and there.  Anytime I thought there was an issue it was addressed or I was educated, either way it was resolved.  At one point I was not happy with one area of the house that had been prepped and I brought it to both Artur and Norbert's attention, this was on a Sunday via email.  Monday morning it seemed like they rolled their entire fleet to my house; this is not intended as a slam by any means, just to demonstrate that as I previously mentioned, this was a large job and one should expect a complication here and there, point being I alerted them to a problem and the very next morning it was resolved.  Each and every thing I pointed out was addressed.  I had hidden damage which I suspected and once identified Bak Brothers brought in the right expert to address the hidden damage.
Once the project was complete, Artur contacted me to arrange a mutually convenient time for him to stop by and 'walk the project' with me; unfortunately we were in the middle of a family emergency that required our full and dedicated attention.  I notified Artur of same and he had no problem with me delaying him.
You can certainly find cheaper materials and cheaper labor, but since a home is typically the largest investment one makes, the cheapest was not what I was seeking.  While money is certainly important, the quality of the job, the materials, the installers as well as the management are all equally important.
Also, each day the job site was cleaned up.  No trash on the lawn, everything picked up every single day, all materials stacked and covered.
Certainly the neighbors were all aware of my decision to reside the house simply because they could see the house change day by day. Once the house was complete, we have had multiple people not only from our immediate neighbors, but also others who live in the area stop by and say how beautiful the house looks.
Last, I'm not the type of guy who writes a bunch of online reviews, so I hope you take away what our experience was and find it useful in making your decision.  If you want super cheap and don't care about your home, call someone else.  If you do care about your home and it's value, Bak Brothers is a no brainer based on my experience.
I highly recommend you give Bak Brothers the opportunity to quote your project, and should the need arise to use their services again, I will not hesitate.  Nor should you.
My last two words:  Good People!

It took a while to get them out but they told me that up front.  They were booked heavily when I reached out to them in the summer.  When they came, they did the work.  It was done well as now is over a year and all their repairs are standing up.  I would hire them again.    I have a pretty large frame house and expect to use them again for more repairs in the future.

It took a while to get on their schedule but when they arrived they were courteous and polite.  They replaced the old roofing material with tin that  matched the cover of the old roof.  The man  who made the repairs took pictures of the work during the installation but when I asked for them I was told that he changed cameras and no longer had the photos.  Overall very pleased that a problem leak was fixed.
