Description of Work: We had purchased numerous things here for a bathroom remodel 10-15 years ago. At first had issues finding us in the system, but then discovered that the contractor we had used had purchased the materials and we had reimbursed him. The faucet we needed was in stock, but a plate we needed wasn't in stock, but we were able to order the plate for our new faucet. They had been very good in the past and I think they are long standing and continue to provide excellent and professional services.

Jake really knew how to figure out my style, along with keeping things within my budget. He suggested getting inside each bath tub to see how they "fit" which was perfect. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. We decided to return our towel rings and the return was painless. Advantage was very easy to work with.
Description of Work: Provided master bathroom bathtub, tub filler, heated towel bar, 72" vanity, two sinks, two faucets, two extra large medicine cabinets, five sconces, shower hardware and drain.

I would not recommend this company at all. I am sorry I gave them my business and should have gone elsewhere. The quote had problems and was confusing since everything has only their part number so you cannot check it's accuracy. It took a number of tries to get a quote with all the parts showing up. The sales person's information was misleading which should have been my clue to go elsewhere. But after some effort I thought we were on track and believed it was only the salesperson who was a problem. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and placed the order But how wrong I was that all would go well. One part on the order was in fact wrong and was only discovered after it was installed by the plumber and could no longer be changed. Management could NEVER be reached no matter when I called and either did not return calls in a timely manner or worse, pushed the call off to someone else rather than actually replying themselves. Terrible experience. UPDATE: IT GOT WORSE. TURNS OUT THE TUB THEY SOLD WAS PREVIOUSLY REPAIRED BY THE FACTORY OR BY ADVANTAGE. THE REPAIR WAS GOOD ENOUGH THAT IT WAS NOT VISIBLE. BUT ONCE WE USED THE TUB, RUST CAME UP THROUGH THE DAMAGED SECTION AFTER A COUPLE OF USES. SELLING A REPAIRED PRODUCT AS NEW IS DECEITFUL AND DISHONEST. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY OR WITH THE 'PREMIUM' TUB MANUFACTURER THEY RECOMMENDED WE BUY (KALDEWEI). STAY AWAY!
Excellent service with every contact. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with a contractor. Nick from Advantage reviewed pictures and videos of the fixture issues to ensure that there were no warranty or product defectiveness issues. We were informed how to have our regular plumber correct the installation issues. Our kitchen sink has been more difficult to figure out as it has not held water since the installation. We have been sent several new stoppers (as both sides of the sink had issues). Now we are being sent the full basket and stopper set in hopes that it is a fluke of the set that is causing the conning problems. All at no cost and with multiple contacts from myself and my plumber. While their prices may be higher on some things than other places, the follow through and support is well worth it.

Their prices are good and the service is excellent. They are very reputable! The sales people are very knowledgeable and if there is ever a problem, they take care of it, even if it wasn't originally their problem! In regards to the previous report on Angie's List on this company, I think the request for a drivers license for a purchase that was done over the phone was valid and good protection for themselves as well as the purchaser.

I went into the store and paid for the sink. I was given a receipt and told to drive around back to pick up the sink. When I got back there the employee asked for my driver's license, which I showed him. He then proceeded to enter my driver's license number into their computer. I stopped him and told him I did not want my driver's license number entered in their system. He said he could not give me my sink without it. I went back into the store, and they confirmed this. They said it was for their own protection. Needless to say, I didn't buy my sink there. With identity theft on the rise, you'd think they could come up with a better system.

AT EACH VISIT, MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SALES STAFF WAS A HIT OR MISS - SOMETIMES EXCEPTIONAL, OTHER TIMES MEDIOCRE, ONCE POOR (THE SALESMAN LEFT ME IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ORDER TO HELP ANOTHER CLIENT). TWO OF THE 3 PRODUCTS ARRIVED ON SCHEDULE; THE MEDICINE CABINET TOOK A WEEK LONGER THAN ESTIMATED. THE MEDICINE CABINET WAS MISSING ALL INSTALLATION HARDWARE AND 2 OF THE 3 SHELVES WERE CRACKED (MFC ERROR). THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AT ADVANTAGE HAD EXTRA HARDWARE AND SHELVES IN-STOCK. THE LINEN CABINET ARRIVED MISSING THE CROWN MOLDING AND THE FILLER PIECE WAS SHORTER THAN ORDERED. AL, THE CABINET SALES REP ADDRESSED THE ERRORS SATISFACTORILY.
