They combined two electrical boxes into one and had to move an outlet to slow for a longer panel. The guy did the work while my disabled husband was home (he was unable to climb stairs and inspect the completed work). I came home after the guy left and had to move the old electrical panel that was sitting in front of my garage door. All the rest of the garbage was sitting in my garage. I was not happy, he told my husband he could not fit the trash in his car. When I looked at the completed job I saw he had retired the outlet and had a cord across the front of the panel box so it couldn’t be opened unless I unplugged the cord. What?!! And he also left his own personal trash in the basement. I was very upset and called the rep that had originally come to the house and he sent the same guy out the next day to fix it. I asked him to please take the old panel box and other trash he left and he said he didn’t have room in his car to take it. I was not happy with this company and would not recommend.

Not going to give all the detail......they easily could have said to switch out all the outlets,but that would have been dishonest and cost us hundreds of dollars instead,with honesty we were told only one GFI needed installation and the others were reset and things are back up and running and I have exterior outlets again. Class Act Family Operation, I have already told my coworkers if they need an electrician to call Mr. Electric

Al had to go into the attic to install the 3 ceiling fans and build supports for each fan. He also rewired our basement from lots of individual lights with separate on/off pull cords to a double switch system so we can turn on half the lights with one switch and the back half with the other switch. Also rewired our front door and garage lights so they could be operated from two locations (front door and garage). Was very careful to clean up everything...including actually vacuuming so there were NO traces of anything left on the floor. He show up on time and stayed until everything was perfect...and kept his cost at exactly what he quoted.
I would certainly use him again for any electrical work. Also, Angies List customers get a guarantee that is twice as long as normal!

Everyone was wonderful to work with at Mr Electric. The arrived on time to provide a detailed quote and explained the various options clearly. Everyone was very knowledgeable and thoughtful about explaining the pros and cons of each option. It was easy to schedule an installation time. They were prompt, courteous, and left the rooms they worked in spotless. We received one other quote that was similar in price, but chose Mr Electric due their experience level and easy to work with. They were not cheap, but we wanted quality workmanship without any shortcuts and that's what I believe we received! The Angie's List member discount didn't hurt either.

Had an electrical trip on circuit breaker. Upon trying to locate and fix the problem myself, I was unsuccessful. Al, from Mr. Electric showed up on time and he was very professional and friendly as he always is ( I have used him in the past). He located the problem within 30 minutes and had it fixed approximately 30 minutes after that. It was an exterior outlet that I had forgot to check. It was fried, maybe due to a power surge or something of that nature. I would recommend Mr. Electric to anyone needing work done and plan on using them again in the future.

Received a return call within hours to schedule a time for the estimate. I called a few days later and placed the order for the work. Lucas came right out, was very professional, took great care to wear shoe covers and treated the job like it was in his own home. Cleaning up all debris and excess materials. Office personnel very professional and very prompt. If you need any type of electrical work around the home, give the fine people a call.

I had an idea of how I wanted the conduit run but they improved upon it, even though it was more work for them. They also suggested another location for the outlet to better meet my needs. They finished in a timely manner and cleaned up after the work was complete. I received an e-mail receipt minutes later. Great job!

Technician assessed problem immediately, gave us cost and we asked about other options. Completed work within one hour. Was neat, professional and friendly. We live in a "unique" old house, that had some electrical problems. Al came and within an hour, had fixed several outlets and switches that weren't working, and also fixed our breaker. He was extremely informative, explaining the process to us. He also gave us estimates about future jobs that we needed to do with our house, and was also very helpful and informative in finding us ways to do things within our means. He was a pleasure tow work with.
