I wanted to replace the carpet floor in the bedrooms with hardwood floor for a new 2 bedroom condo and also replaced the baseboard through the unit. I interviewed 5 companies, all of which have good review on Angie’s List. I picked M Craft out of them and I am very pleased with my choice. My Craft did live up to their good reviews and are responsive to customer needs. I lived in apartments before with carpet floor only and don’t really know anything about hardwood floor until this installation. I felt that I knew more about hardwood floor than 3 other companies. One person did not even know that there was not a layer of plywood underneath my carpet floor after the consultation and this company has close to 300 A in their review. I found that out when I discovered that there was no plywood charge in the quote. M Craft’s charge is also fair. Another company has the same proposal as M Craft but charged 50 % more and was 40 minutes late to our appointment without notification. M craft’s team was always punctual and responded to calls, emails, text messages timely. Adrian, the owner, was flexible and willing to accommodate to customer’s needs. I just bought this condo in winter. The gas company forgot to process my order to switch the gas service to me and the unit had no heat when M Craft was supposed to start the installation. It is necessary to acclimate the wood to room temperature. The gas company could not send people to turn on the gas until almost a week later and Adrian was very understanding and tried to work around the schedule. When I told Adrian not to move my fridge back to the kitchen so that my handyman could do repair after the floor installation, Adrian also provided me some eucaboard to move my fridge into the kitchen without damaging the floor. He took time to explain to me any concerns and provide good recommendations. Adrian is knowledgeable in his field. I ended up replacing the entire unit with new hardwood floor because it is not possible to maintain the same level as the living room if I just replaced the carpet floor in the bedrooms. Because the price M Craft charged was fair and reasonable, I replaced the entire unit for more aesthetic value. Adrian also cared to use quality material. Now I have nice solid hard wood floor throughout my unit.

I called Adrian because of all the positive on-line reviews and I was not disappointed - he lived up to expectations on all counts. I am a very picky person and have high standards, and Adrian exceeded expectations in every way. He takes great pride in his work and it shows!! Furthermore, Adrian genuinely wants the customer to be happy. From the first contact, Adrian is exceptionally responsive and honest and client-centered in every interaction. He explained the process at our first meeting, and took time every day to let me know how things were progressing and what to expect the next day. He and his son installed new hardwood floors in 3 bedrooms (ranch home) and matched them up to existing wood floors in the rest of the house (where he refinished the floors). The work was impeccable!!! He recommended the perfect stain and finish because he really listened to what I wanted. He was patient with me and an absolute delight to work with every step of the way. We have already recommended him to friends and are already planning to have him back to refinish our railing and install new iron posts.

Look no further for your flooring contractor. M Craft is the one you want. We had our wood floors refinished in four bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, and two hallways. Most of our floors were 50+ years old and one was 25+ years old. They look brand new now. Adrian is the owner of the company and works with his sons and other employees. He was very professional, always returning calls/texts and the crew showed up on time every day until the project was completed. He communicated well as the project progressed and happily answered our questions. His prices were very fair, and they used high-quality tools and equipment, which left remarkably little to no dust in the house. They were very respectful of our home, protected adjacent areas with blankets and plastic, and they did a nice job cleaning up and vacuuming at the end of each day. They were very meticulous in their work and went above and beyond to repair the wear and tear on the floors and even carefully moved furniture and appliances. Adrian worked with us to find the right stain colors and select the final finish, even staining a section of the floor with different colors so we could choose the one we liked best. They used a water-based stain and three topcoats, which resulted in very little fumes and odors. We were able to gently walk on the floors (socks only) after 3-4 hours. We have zero reservations in recommending M Craft to our family and friends.

We hired M Craft for kitchen floor refinishing work. We are very happy with the final outcome. We met with Adrian for initial quote when he clearly explained the process, product options and the cost. He justified his recommendation and the costs satisfactorily. The work was started on the date we agreed. The work was performed using the exact process Adrian had explained during the initial meeting. The crew was very professional. Adrian was present most of the time with his crew. There was no mess while the work was ongoing for a week. Adrian brought color samples on the first day where the samples were small wood samples. Once we short-listed 3 colors Adrian brought a larger board prepared with those colors so that we can have a better idea from larger sample placed on the floor in various spots. He was very patient with the color selection process to ensure we were happy with our selection. Every night Adrian would leave with clear instructions for us to avoid damaging the work in-progress. From communication standpoint, he was just a text-message or phone-call away if we needed to talk to him. Overall a job well done, and would hire Adrian and his company M Craft again in the future.

MCraft did a phenomenal job refinishing my kitchen floors, which were quite worn after 20 years. Adrian, the owner, and his team were at my home on time each day and paid meticulous attention to the details, involving me in all decisions, and showing demonstrating three different variations of the stain color for my floor.. They moved my washer, dryer and refrigerator and replaced to ensure no damage to the newly finished floor. There was no mess at all, as they covered all of my kitchen cabinets and sealed off all entryways leading to the kitchen. On their last day, they spent a few hours cleaing my baseboards and removing all of their coverings. I didn't have to do anything. My kitchen looks brand new. They are the real deal, and they were so nice. I wouldn't think of using anyone else in the future.

Wonderfully. Adrian stayed within budget. Showed up on time. Explained what he was doing and why. Showed us how to care for the floors. Even helped me with some tips on how to fix some issues with the original installation that were outside the scope of his work. We will hire Adrian again when it is time to refinish the floors on the main level.

Flooring in my first floor was a bit dated and was a combination of Hardwood, tiles and Carpet. Adrian and his team replaced it with unfinished Red oak hardwood and finished it in place. Working with the MCraft team was a very positive experience for the following reasons - Adrian walked me through the different types of hardwood flooring, their relative cost and the pros/cons of each. -Adrian provided a reasonable quote and stuck to it- not a nickel and dime approach - I found Adrian, both his sons and the rest of the team to be very helpful, polite, punctual, flexible and hardworking - Adrian and his team knew what they were doing-they are experts in hardwood - Adrian set clear expectations and made sure he honored all commitments. If you are considering installing new hardwood floors, do talk to Adrian- you will not be disappointed.

Adrian is AMAZING! From the very early steps of the process to the very last, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the work is OUTSTANDING! We could not be any more pleased with every aspect of the project - including how the work turned out. Adrian and his crew renovated, secured, stripped, and restained our main staircase which is about 130 years old. When first toured the house to buy it, we fell in love with the staircase. When it was apparent that we had to restore the staircase, we searched for the right people to help us. We received several quotes and suggestions of what to do. Adrian was the only one who viewed the job the same way we did - don't just rip it all out (or parts of it) and build a perfect new one, but restore the beautiful piece we fell in love with. In light of the agreement on the vision for the job, and the fact that we really liked Adrian from the very beginning, it really was no question of who we would use. And we are so glad we did! Adrian was very upfront about the extent of restoration needed and that it would be an ongoing process based on what they found when the project started. Despite encountering several problems along the way, Adrian kept us posted about progress and asked for preferences when decisions needed to be made. If something was not exactly correct, it was redone or another workable solution was found. When the stain we chose was not correct (they caught this and immediately stopped work to discuss it with us), they started again. It really was not an issue - Adrian insisted on a new stain since it was apparent the color would not match. In the end, we have a staircase that almost exactly matches the 130 year old spinals, railings, and pillars. Simply amazing! It really is breathtaking. We are in awe. If you are wondering if you should reach out to Adrian, PLEASE do! He will give you honest answers that take into account the economic realities we all face. He is super ethical in his dealings. He is direct in offering suggestions, solutions, and his opinions. And his work ethic, and that of his sons and crew, is beyond reproach. So so so glad we found Adrian! His work was excellent and we now have floors that look almost new in our 60 year old house. I am extremely happy with the work Adrian and his team did. What I wanted most of all was a quality job and they exceeded my hopes. They took up my carpeting, re-nailed the old floor for squeaks, installed 2 rooms of hardwood flooring, sanded and re-stained the existing entryway hardwood, installed very nice baseboard, and 3 completely redid 3 staircases with a bannister. I would recommend M Craft to anyone.
