DO NOT SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE AT THE GERALD SUBARU OF NAPERVILLE. They are dishonest. They pray on female customers that are not knowledgeable in car maintenance. I trusted Gerald Subaru of Naperville and always tried to get my car serviced there, even though, the cost would be more than elsewhere. At the time I brought my car in, I was aware of one small oil leak. They advised me that the best way to find the leak was to add a dye to the engine. I was charged me approx. $100.00. I brough my car back after I drove 800 miles, as instructed. The service representative told me that I had 4 leaking areas. They quoted me approx. $3000.00. I took my car to one of the Certified Auto Repair Centers for another opinion. What I was told was shocking. The Certified Auto Repair Representative informed me that I still only had one (1) oil leak NOT FOUR (4). They also said that there was no sign that dye was ever added to my engine. I had the oil leak fixed by the Certified Auto Repair Shop and had my spark plugs replaced at the same time. The entire cost with tax was $530.00. This repair was performed a few months ago and my car is fine, no leaks, no oil light on, and no need to add oil. My car is getting older and in a year or two I will look to replace it with a new one. I WILL NOT SHOP AT GERALD SUBARU OF NAPERVILLE.

The cost was included in the service when we bought the car.  I would give them a B for quality because when they washed my car, they forgot to put the antenna back on.  They apologized profusely, but you know that was a sloppy move. We do like them.  When we go to buy a car, they will be one of the first places we go to.

I heard a thudding sound coming from the rear underbody of my car. I had it checked by a tire store, thinking I had a tire problem. The tire store couldn't find anything wrong with my tires so I scheduled an appointment with the Subaru dealership. I explained my concern about the safety of driving my car to the service advisor, Collin. He advised they do a diagnostic to check for problems. I left the car until the next day. Collin called me and explained all of the areas they had checked such as rotors, brake pads and the tires.He said he and a technician had driven the car. They agreed the noise was minor rust on the rotors and advised me to drive the car more than I had to stop this from happening. 

        I told Collin I would pick up the car as soon as I could get a cab over there and he offered to have a courtesy car pick me up at my home. That's impressive service! They only charged me $72 when I was worried it would be a lot more. The car doesn't have that sound anymore, either!

The service manager was extremely helpful. I did not have an appointment when my check engine light came on and he was more than happy to get me in right away to help figure out the problems.  He also was able to get me a courtesy car so that I could get back and forth to work.

I am so impressed with this service center. How often are you charged less than what you are quoted for car service? I had agreed to leave my car since it was a 2 1/2 hour job and planned to pick it up 3 hours later. They had it ready an hour earlier than promised and when the invoice was presented, it was final total was less than I had expected.
Every technician I have dealt with since I purchased this car has been professional, extremely courteous and most accommodating. When I had a questions about synthetic oil, I emailed the service manager and he replied right away with a detailed explanation and answered my questions completely.
From the ease in scheduling appointments to the added touch of complimentary shuttle service and car washes, this service center is a class act.
