Biango Construction

I had Biango Construction complete a full gut renovation of my main floor powder room and laundry room/mudroom. This included a major change in layouts and moving walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. I also had custom cabinets and hall tree built for the space. The final result is exceptional (see photos). While the time ended up taking longer than originally expected, it was worth it to have a trusted pro do the work and to deal with the permit process. The company was easy to work with, professional, and maintained a clean workspace across my house. All individuals working on my house with Nick Biango paid high attention to detail throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Biango Construction to anyone doing renovations or wanting built-ins added to their home.

Nick and his team were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS from start to finish. I truly can't say enough good things about them. Its very difficult to find someone who is accountable and does great work - and Nick did both. Nick completed all the carpentry in my home (fireplace mantels; trim; hardware installs) - and did a phenomenal job. I was impressed with him from the start. He was a pro-active communicator, showed up on the job when he said he would - and was always on time. These qualities were SO appreciated - and are so rare these days. Nick & Teams work is outstanding. Their quality and attention to detail is unmatched. They totally delivered on my "fireplace inspiration" pictures - and I couldn't be happier with the final product. It was very clear that he wanted to deliver exactly what I was looking for - even if that meant multiple trips to the wood shop! In addition, while on site, Nick & Team were considerate, clean and kind! Nick & Team are a total joy to work with - and I'll be using them in the future!

Just got done with a Kitchen Remodel with Biango Construction – and it was GREAT! Nick Biango and his team were skilled, professional, on-time, clean and did beautiful work. The cabinets they built are top of the line – and are as good as if not better than the Thomasville cabinets I have in my dining room and Thomasville built-in bookcases in my home office. If you don’t believe me, I have another testimonial from the village inspector. Nick Biango also built a deck for me last year (that was why I was so confident with having him back for the kitchen remodel) and when the inspector looked at my deck, he commented on the beautiful job and asked for the name of the contractor as he had some work he needed done and he appreciates best quality workmanship – high praise from someone whose job it is to approve work on building permits. Highest recommendation – 5 stars!

We hired Biango Construction to replace our old deck and we are so happy with the results. The deck is incredibly well-crafted and Nick was great to work with. We would highly recommend Biango Construction to anyone and will be using their services again for any work that we need done in the future.

We've used Biango Construction twice now and we are amazed at the work Nick and the team did each time. The latest project was to build custom closet cabinets in our master bedroom and a custom bench in the master bathroom and they are amazing! Nick was very helpful during the pre-build process as he came onsite and we discussed various wood options, layouts, designs, etc. and during the build process Nick was great about giving us progress updates. I also have to commend Nick on being flexible and taking on extra last-minute projects that came up. He was able to also install crown molding throughout most of our upstairs, wainscoting in the master bathroom and several new doors and trim. We would use Biango Construction in the future.

We asked Nick Biango to finish our basement based on his excellent communication, longstanding team and reasonable pricing. Nick has expert craftsmanship and good taste; it was wonderful to see how vague ideas (ie, some paneling would be great here) were translated to a cohesive whole. The custom bookshelf/bench unit that Nick built for us is a joy - thoughtful, well designed, with solid construction - and his experience makes it easy to rely on him on details big and small. More specifically, we appreciated that his crew kept the place immaculate and were professional. Every person that we met took pride in their work. The team had great suggestions when asked for recommendations on products, colors, and style. And most important, Nick was responsive though out the build to questions about scheduling/products and places for improvement. I have to say that the greatest part of this collaboration has been peace of mind. We're very happy with the end product, and will be sticking with Nick for future builds!

Words to describe Biango....flexible, collaborative, reasonable, partner. We met with a few different contractors to refinish our basement. Nick provided an estimate that was comparable to the others, but was the most flexible from the beginning. If we wanted to add something, the price obviously went up, but he also passed along any savings when he could. We knew what we wanted and Nick and I worked together to make it even better than what we envisioned. Every project has an obstacle and he was able to communicate those early and come up with even better ideas that we originally had. He also takes pride in quality work. He hand picks all the materials and fixes any issues if they occur. When I needed to make a design decision, he also spent time with me to talk through options. I highly recommend Biango Construction to all my friends!

Nick and his team did an amazing job building a custom bar for our lower living area, as well as remodeling our kitchen. Nick communicated with us every stop of the project, and had contractors ready for tile, paint, and countertops. He and his team and very trustworthy, and we will definitely use them for future projects. 100% recommended.

In September, 2018, we hired a contractor to tear down a very large deck (more than 1000 sq. ft.) and replace it with a new deck with the same footprint. We had no idea what lay ahead. That company was, and remains corrupt, unreliable and incompetent; it is operated by an inveterate liar. We fired him seven months into a two-month project. Subsequently, we interviewed many contractors and chose Biango Construction. They had all of the requisite documentation, and their references gave them "glowing' recommendations. Nick Biango and his crew are the epitome of professionalism. They show up on time, clean up after the day's work is done, and most importantly, take great pride in their handiwork. They finished the project in record time, including correcting the mistakes made by the former contractor.We are thrilled with our deck, and we will call Nick for any future projects. Very well. Nick was very helpful even before he started. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer all of them,before during and after the project. He showed up on time, kept the work area tidy and did a wonderful job on the deck.

Nick was great. He quickly responded to our request for a consultation. We explained what we had in mind and we were on the same page right away. He came up with some sketches on the spot and we agreed to the project. Nick was quick to respond to questions and he was right on with his estimate of the time frame for the project. Nick kept us updated as the cabinet was being made and when it was ready we scheduled the install. Everything came out even better than we expected, it could not have gone better.

This will be the 2nd time we are working with Nick. They completely built out our finished basement with bath room and awesome custom made bar. He is by far a true craftsman with out question. Nick and his crew do fantastic work. Very clean professional, he handles all permits design and blue prints, so we are able to focus on the things we wanted to incorporate in the basement. Nick is quick on his feet to accommodate all are requests and concerns. He was great keeping up with all the changes we made along the way sorry Nick : ) We are so pleased with everything that was done. All I can say if you are planning on doing any type of home remodeling don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. We will not use anyone else from this point forward to do anything on our home. Nick's relationships with his sub contractors is great. Funny thing we hired them 1 year ago to remodel upstairs and all the same guys came to do the work. We got his name from a friend who uses Nick and he told us who worked on his house over 8 years ago and he had the same sub contractors then as he does now. That told me so much about Nick and his crew. We never had to worry who was in our home. Outstanding craftsmanship all the way around they really take pride in workmanship. We met with over 10 different contractors when we began planning for a sunroom addition. The job entailed blowing out the family room wall and building the room within the space of what was at the time extra garage space. Every contractor came in at least 10-15k OVER our budget, and some even said it wasn't possible, don't even consider it. Nick from Biango Construction wrote up a very fair proposal and stuck with the budget. My husband, to be honest, was not as eager as I was to pursue the project, so he asked Nick a lot of hard questions about the specifics of the addition -- how much higher the ceilings could be made, how much duct work, if any, would need to be moved around, and how we would seamlessly build a transition from our family room into the addition. Nick patiently addressed every single one of his concerns, and we were able to confidently proceed with the project. We pulled permits and Nick did not voice any objection to this (unlike MANY MANY MANY other contractors we've come across). I would say he was personally on site for 80-90% of the job, and the other times one or both of his two main assistants were there (Danny and Joel). I don't know how to put this without sounding impolite, but he and his crew speak perfect English. It was easy to communicate what we wanted and didn't want, which led to a positive outcome for all parties. The crew worked through the winter to complete the job. They set up barriers to minimize the amount of dust and debris in our garage and house. They were responsive to our on-the-fly changes/requests, such as figuring out a way to move the electrical and cable wires to a different wall -- the day AFTER drywall was put up! The project had unepexcted obstacles, but Nick has a real knack for problem solving that helped us solve each problem. Nick is a carpenter by trade, so he was able to cut some costs for us by custom building things, such as a custom built in bookshelf, which friends and family compliment us for everytime they see it. He also came up with an inexpensive way to install a beautiful paneled ceiling with beadboard, that really gives the room a unique look. His painter Ozzy and his crew are awesome, respectful, and clean. We didn't have any problems with any of the subs used for our project (HVAC, electrical, and drywall). We look forward to working with Nick and Biango Construction for our future projects!

Biango Construction performed high quality work on the installation of my new deck and gazebo. Nick was great in understanding what we wanted and then translating it into drawings and construction. His crew was very friendly and professional. After work was completed each day, the work area was cleaned by the team. They worked with the city on all permits and did a great job understanding what the city inspector requirements were. I would hire them again and would highly recommend them.

Still in progress and it looks awesome. Nick had some really great ideas for what to do in the different areas, and good solutions when a few of my ideas didn't quite turn out.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the work done by Nick and his crew! From start to finish it was a pleasure to work with them. We secured several bids and Nick’s was the only one that broke down the work by trade so we could see where most of the budget was going and make adjustments if needed. He handled all of the permit paperwork and follow up with the city. Every day when his crew left the basement was clean and tidy. Nick does beautiful custom cabinetry and we had him do the the bar and bar back. The work is exceptional and we’ve had many complements on the quality. He carried the same custom elements to the lolly column surrounds so they now look like architectural features instead of eyesores. He and his crew worked with us every step of the way to design an awesome space for us to enjoy. All the subcontractors were top notch as well. Nick was on site every day and coordinated trades so everything moved smoothly. He responded quickly to any and all questions we had. Over the years we’ve dealt with many contractors and he is outstanding. The work done is beautiful and was done at a fair price.
