I purchased a Big Deal coupon for a $69 furnace cleaning and service. I need to complete this work as part of the closing requirements for the sale of my condo. I called Air-Rite before purchasing the coupon to find out about availability of scheduling service, but when I mentioned that I was using the Angie's List coupon, I was told that I had to purchase the coupon and wait 24 hours before calling to schedule. The person on Air-Rite wouldn't look at available appointments until the coupon was registered in their system.
I purchased the coupon and called Air-Rite as soon as I received the "we've got your coupon" email. At that time I was told the first available appointment was June 6. This was May 6 so they couldn't schedule a service call for a month. This was way past my deadline for the condo, but also an unacceptable amount of lead time when trying to schedule maintenance on major home mechanical system.

Will contact Air-Rite in August, 2014 to perform furnace inspections.

He was on time and totally professional. We would definitely use this service again!

I liked the service provider they did a good job. I would use them again. They did the tune up and regular maintenance.
I found them little expensive as other charge $49 and they charged $69. But I am happy with the technician who came out was very professional and provide some good recommendation. Thank you.

We used an Angies' list deal.  It seemed to go well until the salesperson tried to convince me I needed a part that was not clear that I needed and he later realized his measuring instrument was not working well.

On time and took care of the tune up. AC was working fine but he checked and verified all the furnace and AC unit, cleaned and serviced and refilled freon at a great price.

It went very well.  They were prompt and did everything they were supposed to.  Very professional.  I have used them in the past and will use them again.

Everything turned out well, and it was very easy working with the company.  The scheduling process was simple,  they showed up on time, and they did a good job with the furnace.  Ultimately, we were quite pleased.

After purchasing the Big Deal, I called the company as I wanted them to come out ASAP. They told me it would be three weeks. I called another company on the list that came out the same day.

Very friendly and thorough.  Identified problem with furnace switch and provided a replacement at the time of service for a fair price.  After it was fixed, I did notice that the ignition was a lot smoother.

They were fine and courteous and it turned out that I don't need their service because the furnace was new.  They did their job and they didn't give me any trouble.  They really were on time and it was a good deal.

The tech was prompt and courteous. He explained how long he should be there and upon completion he went over all and explained what he did.

I have a 15 year old furnace unit that the previous homeowner failed to properly maintain.  I had the unit inspected and cleaned last month with an Angie's list deal and that technician did a great job and warned me that the blower wheel was cleaned as much as possible, but was out of balance and in need of replacement (caused the furnace to vibrate strongly when running.)  
This month the vibration became very noticeable on the upper floors due to noise coming from the air ducts, so we decided to go ahead with the blower wheel replacement.
I was worried about their appointment process since they did not provide a specific time - was told I had the afternoon window on a certain date.  I did not want to sit around all afternoon waiting for the technician. But the technician called during the late morning just prior to my window as he was finishing another job and gave me the estimated time he would show up.  He showed up right as he'd planned with the parts on hand.  
During the blower wheel replacement, he found the cooling coil was mostly clogged (previous homeowner had ran the unit for prolonged period of time without an air filter and caused hidden havoc.)  The cleaning of the coil was priced on the high side ($300+), but it required the removal of the burner and blower wheel for access - he was halfway there already.  He also found the run capacitor to be severely degraded  (this furnace had just been inspected by this same company the previous month and passed inspection.)  They charged me $56 to replace the $9 capacitor which would be reasonable on its own due to the labor and diagnosis, but they had already inspected the unit last month.  Given the overall cost of the repair already charged, the capacitor should have  been included.
 
All labor costs aside, the technician was very experienced and professional, did a great job on the repair itself and left the furnace in good working order, running smoothly and free of any vibrations.  I will continue to use them for this unit, and will consider getting their quote when time comes to replace this unit for a new Furnace/AC.

Technician was prompt, courteous, and quick.  Replaced old humidifier quickly, cleaned up the mess and removed old unit.  A+++

Dan arrived on time. He was professional and spend a good amount of time inspecting and cleaning my furnace. He was very informative. I had a small drain made of pvc pipe that had a p-trap and he recommended removing the p-trap, which I did. My only complaint is that is cost $104 to remove that pvc pipe and install a $3 piece of pvc pipe and it took 10-15 minutes and I was charged a flat rate of $104. However, when I called the company to report my frustration with this pricing, they did refund me $20 and explained flat rate pricing. I did express that I thought pricing might be more accurately reflected by cost oftime for labor and product versus a flat rate. Overall, good experience.

It was great. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They were fine.
