When you call schedule an appointment, you will be speaking directly to the business owner- Kevin Welter. After scheduling your appointment, we will then come to your home for a thorough project evaluation. Welter Home Services also provides their customers with a one year written warranty on most home repairs and installations! I will have Kevin out in the future to knock off additional items from my list.
This is the third time I have used Kevin. He put up a garden shed for me last fall and when a piece for the roof didn't fit he contacted the manufacturer and obtained the necessary replacement. When the weather changed before he could complete the job he stopped by and put a tarp over the roof and when the weather improved he came back and finished the job.
About a month ago I needed my laundry room sink replaced. Kevin came early, before I left for work and I was very comfortable leaving him in the house to do the work after I left - after he made friend with my dog - and he closed everything up when he left.
And this week he came to replace two warped shelves in a kitchen cabinet. He replaced them with very nice quality wood that I don't even feel the need to paint, as I will cover them with shelf liner.
I have found Kevin very pleasant to deal with. He is very personable, does good work and cleans up after himself. He is very accommodating to my timetable and I feel perfectly comfortable leaving him in my house knowing he will do the work, clean up and leave, closing up after himself.
I would have no hesitation in recommending his services and would certainly use him myself if the need arises again.
"I am sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with the caulking we had done for you. We take pride in our work, and I can say first-hand that the level of prep that goes into any re-caulking job is very important. A typical prep can take 30-45 minutes! We removed all of the existing caulk prior to the installation of the new caulk and also removed any mildew that we found. It is possible that the caulk used had an inconsistent mix from the factory, possibly lacking some pigment, which may have caused the caulk to look darker. The caulk used was 100% silicone (Almond), new/unopened and bought earlier that same morning. If this is the case, or for any other reason you are not satisfied, we will be happy to return and re-apply caulk to any areas that are in question.
