They're great. I've used them for about 20 years. They're very good. Excellent. They responded quickly and came to look at it. They've done a lot of work. I have good faith in them. They done a good job every time they've come out.

The experience was fine. It was great. We had to wait a while for service but we knew that going in. They came out with the estimate quickly. He actually got up there when he came out for the estimate and crossed it so it stopped the leak even though we had to wait in terms of replacement of parts. At least he stopped the roof from leaking until they were able to come out here and actually replace the parts.

The repair itself went great. Joe showed up, took a look, knew exactly how he wanted to approach it and did so with minimal disturbance. He worked steadily and deliberately and was done in about 90 minutes. If you know where to look you can see that something was done, but it would be otherwise seemless with the rest of the roof to anyone who didn't know better. He cleaned up the lawn area where he dropped the old materials in a way that looked totally undisturbed. He explained how the problem came about and was on his way. Within an hour of his leave, the rain started and no leak, so so far, so good. The real test will be a torrential rain or heavy snow, I will update the Quality rating after that. A week later we got the bill. It was exactly as quoted, -5% for being an Angie's List member. Good to see at a time of year when everything seems to be coming due all at once. My only complaint explains the "F" for Responsiveness. Their was a complete lack of communication leading up to the day of service. We were given the quote on Nov.12 quickly and smoothly and told current repair estimates are 3-4 weeks out. We received no updates. 4-5 weeks out, I called and was told that I was fourth in line and that I'd get a call back with an updated schedule within a couple hours. I never heard back, not even to say, "I'm sorry, we don't know yet." At 8am on 12/22, someone called and told my very confused son that Joe was on his way. When my son relayed this to me, I called the office and couldn't get confirmation as to when he'd arrive, how long it would take, whether the work would be inside/outside -- all the questions I was planning to ask on an advance notification call. I wasn't going to give up my place in line because the forecast for a few days later was not looking good. So I woke up my whole family and rushed them through showers and getting dressed before he arrived. (Turned out it was unnecessary, but it least it was a good excuse to get their butts out of bed on their days off.) If this repair is solid after this winter, I will consider using Peterson Roofing again, but I will also carefully weigh how urgently I might need the work completed and how much micro-managing I would be up to doing in getting them to communicate with me.

We had a hail storm and were hounded by door to door salesmen, phone calls and mail. I did my own research and reached out to Peterson Roofing. They were very professional and no pressure. And were one of the few to not illegally offer to pay our insurance deductible. They offered a higher quality shingle and were quicker than my neighbors. From the time I signed the contract to the roof being done was under two months. The project itself only took a day and I haven't found any nails or waste even a month later unlike some of the contractors I've seen in the neighborhood and caused a few flat tires. Would highly recommend.

It was a good experience, work done in a timely manner and clean up was good. Had a couple of problem areas that needed attention, discussed with Mike who had some good ideas. One area where an addition was added he suggested using TPO which we will see if it fixes a problem leak I would get from time to time. Also added over sized gutter that would over flow and sometimes caused seepage; this worked like a charm, no more seepage. Mike suggested replacing skylights, other 3 roofing estimates never mentioned it. Looked into and they were 20+ years old - good idea, they are approved velux installers. Also got nice rebate from velux and will get tax rebate since I installed solar operated skylight (got love our government). I used them 12 years ago for a flat roof garage and its still holding up. They were not the cheapest estimate but were close to others - would recommend them!

Everything went very well and all Peterson staff were professional, helpful and courteous. Everything was completed within the expected time frame.

The job when great. It was done in three parts. Chimney rebuild took 3 days, roof 1 day, and aluminum soffit work one day. There were a few minor things to fix after the fact, but those things got addressed quickly. The entire process was relatively easy. My only minor complaints would be the lack of warning we were given on some of the work (a day or two). If I called, I could get more timely answers, but they didn't go out of their way to keep us up to date on scheduling. In the grand scheme, it was no big deal, but we may have changed some plans if we were given more warning. As for price, it was spot on their estimate. Roof and chimney look great.

We bought a new home and per the inspection report there was a small roof leak. We weren't taking possession until the beginning of August but I wanted to schedule the repair right away. I contacted a number of roofers and provided them the inspection report, asking if they could give me an estimate based on the wording and the pictures included there. Some could not, and others would only schedule time to come out and inspect the leak after we took possession, with no guarantee of being able to fix it on the spot. Petersen Roofing was able to do both: provided me an estimate range, and schedule the day and time of repair for a couple of days after closing. Their roofer showed up on time and was able to fix the leak quickly, and the price was in the range of their estimate. It was only a small job but as I was coordinating a painter and handyman as well with my long list of things to do prior to moving in, it felt great to know that I had someone coming who would fix my roof leak and they did a great job.

The roof installation team and foreman did an excellent job of tearing off the old roofing material and installing the new roof. They took extra precautions to protect surrounding landscaping and finishing with the clean-up. Additionally, installation of the gutters and downspouts was also completed efficiently and with great care. Everyone from the initial team representative, the family owners, office staff, foremen and installers were responsive and very professional. The process and the final results provided added value and exceeded my expectations.

They were very nice because my husband thought I paid them and I thought he paid them, and so they called and they said nobody paid them and I was really embarrassed and apparently if you paid by a certain time, you get 10% off and she said, "Don't worry about it you will get your 10% off. It was just a mistake". It was like very very sweet.

Peterson Roofing did an amazing job from start to finish. From the first phone call I made they were informative and friendly. Their customer service was excellent. It took a while for everything to get done, but only because of insurance company. As soon as everything was set to go they came and were professional out in the field. The got the job done quick and perfectly. Also, if I had any questions throughout the process I was able to always call the office or my rep and they answered my questions right away.

Work was fine. I liked the estimate in that we were given a discount. Estimator once he arrived was quick to assess the problem. He even took a picture of the roof that needed repair and showed it to us. That was really helpful. It was also good that this company is willing to do small repairs. The estimator gave us an idea of the life left in our present roof and that gave us some peace of mind knowing we did not have to address the purchase of a new roof for some time to come. The scheduling part once the contract for repair was signed was a little challenging to get a feel for. It would have been helpful to have gotten follow up phone calls as a courtesy to let us know what the timetable for repair might be. The office staff was polite and professional when we called them and they explained that there were several jobs backed up. Although we understand that this can happen, we would have appreciated a text, e-mail or phone call just to keep us informed of our status. Other than that, the work once scheduled and completed appeared to be good.

We called 6 roofing companies from Angie's List that did soffit and fascia work: 2 said they didn't do repairs, 2 didn't call back (perhaps didn't do repairs either). So we were very pleased to have Peterson do the work we needed done, and do a nice job. They were courteous and took extra steps to please the customer by replacing a damaged downspout extension which was not part of the original contract. And when we called a couple of days later to say we were concerned about the way the gutter flashing was installed in the back, Jeff Gutzmer came out the same day to fix it. The only negative was that they arrived two hours late without calling, but everything else was well done.

Had a good overall experience with this company. In the fall a portion of our roof blew off and this was the only company that was willing to do the work. Patch held the full winter months. Hired them to do a full roof replacement because of quality of work. Work site was well run, plants and windows were always protected, they protect your driveway from any oil leaks from their trucks, and roof looks great. If you have a bigger home plan on 4 to 5 days for the workers to be there. The office may say a two day job, but weather could impact your timeline. It does take a while to get back quotes from them so follow-up is needed at times. Note that if you get the ridge vents, and you have traditional venting now, be prepared to have some plywood costs in addition to the cost on the contract. They have to fill in the existing holes. I would go with this company again.

They were quick to come out and give me an estimate. The work was performed on two separate trips due to the extreme winter weather which is completely understandable. It seems as if they hire subcontractors as on both visits the trucks were unmarked. On both occasions the workers completed the work and left without checking in with me as to whether the work was completed to my satisfaction. It was not. When I called Peterson roofing to explain that I was not happy with the work, I received no call back. After several calls my contact at the company I still had not received a call back. I then received an invoice in the mail for a finance charge since my invoice was outstanding. I then left a voicemail for the VP stating it would not be paid until the work was completed. I received one call back, not from him, and then again, no more calls in an effort to schedule the repairs. Then ANOTHER FINANCE CHARGE for an additional amount came in the mail. Another heated call to the VP. He actually called back this time and we got the work completed. The work was fine, average, but the service was extremely bad and unprofessional. I never once received an apology. Definitely will NOT use again.

This was day of the the Bears game was delayed due to the thunderstorms and high winds. When I called up they answered right away and they told me that they were extremely busy due to the high winds and other calls they had received, but they told me they would come out that week. It was a small job and was happy to they could do they job. When they came out they told me they could reattach the loose siding, which was great. They did not try to sell me anything extra or tell me the could not reattach the siding. They were honest and punctual and I will use them when we need a new roof or siding.

This company is very professional. They do high quality work. The contract was extremely detailed, unlike the 2 other estimates that we got. Flat roofs can be tricky and you need the best roofer to do it right. The job appears to be very well done. I was especially impressed by the short wait time for them to start the job. Also the entire project was completed in about 1.5 days.

After he examined the roof and determined where the leak was coming from, he came in my house to explain what he assumed happened. It was a small hole probably where a tree limb may have hit the roof and broke the shingles and board. After he gave me an estimate, he said he would put a temporary fix in the roof so I didn't get any more water inside. He determined what the shingle manufacturer was so he could order it. About a week later, workers from Peterson Roofing came out and replaced the damaged shingle. No more leaks. Very happy with their surface.

Peterson Roofing team were professional, courteous, responsive and very easy to work with. The actual installation team did an outstanding job protecting the landscaping and then cleaning up all the debris - especially all the small staples, etc.
