couldnt have been nicer, sent a guy over with a ladder but it was the wrong ladder, returned again after getting the correct ladder. Very efficient. They were fully cooperative, every person was pleasant, just nice people.

They were excellent. They were very organized. They worked very neat and they were quick. The job was done thoroughly and professionally. They were extremely efficient. We checked with a couple of other companies and their pricing was fair. A lot of times, when people are doing roofs, they have the roofing tiles laid up ahead of time. However, they have a different system which is very efficient. I had a problem with a tree branch, it fell through my roof. As a follow up they came out instantly and they took care of it. They could have really charged me a lot but they didn?t; there were other ways that the work could have been done but they did something that would be a lot less expensive, which I appreciated. They were very honest. Once they repaired that spot, I?ve never had a problem since. They were good people to deal with.

We had a storm and some shingles blew off; they fixed it. I was very happy with it.

They did a pretty efficient job of it. They were pretty good about cleaning up. Our neighbor made a point of saying that he didn’t want any roofing nails on his property because he has dogs. They did clean that up, which I thought was a nice point. Overall, their service was good.

The quote was detailed; which was good; but it was so detailed it almost seemed like they were nit-picking or nickel-and-diming me to death.

The job was great from start to finish. Placed a phone call, Mike came out following day gave me the estimate. I called a few other roofers in the area but was dissatisfied with their response time and professionalism, taking too long to call back, being late for appointments, coming unprepared (no samples, brochures ext.). Peterson was not necessarily the cheapest of the estimates but I felt more comfortable with them, I think one important reason was that they had their own dump truck to haul away the old shingles and garbage instead of having a dumpster placed on my driveway that may have been left for a day or two after completion from other roofers. All in all I was 100% satisfied with my new roof, I most definitely would use them again!

I didn't go with them in the end, but they were recommended to me by someone else in my family who had used them. They were a little more expensive than the average quotes that I got. They called me later and I spoke with the owner on the phone and they seemed very nice and I got a good impression of them.

They cleaned up the debris and cleaned up after themselves. He was excellent and I would highly recommend them. They were very honest and easy to talk to. They explained the roofing processing with out using a lot of terminology that only roofers would know. They talked in away that a layman would know. They were very thorough and very clean. They cleaned up after themselves. I appreciated that they did not put a dumpster on my driveway. They used a trailer, so everyday when I came home there was not debris in my driveway. They took care of all of the permits with my village. The price was fair. I would use this company again in the future without hesitation.

The job went well we just felt it was over priced for 3 hours of labor and 200.00 in materials.

I got in touch through a friend who had reached Peterson by phone. They were immediate with an estimate once I described the work and the square footage involved.

I had a leak in my roof last year in November 2011. I called Peterson Roofing for them to come out and take a look at my roof to see what the problem was. I dont remember who i spoke to, but the person took down my information and said he will have some one come out to take a look at my roof in a day or two. Three to four days passed by and no body showed up. I contacted them again but this time it went on voice mail. I left the detailed message about my issue and also mentioned that why nobody has visited my house yet. I waited for couple more days and didn't get call back from them. At this point, i just decided not to call them again and got my roof fixed from a different company.

PROS -Was able to quote roof even when we were not home. Took digital pictures so we could discuss questions later. -Quote had lots of clear options. Basic roof cost spelled out clearly. 4 different shingle options offered at different prices. Quote included several different options for vents, gutters, chimney, etc. You can choose any additional upgrades you want clearly from the quote. -Quote package includes brochure on Peterson, explaining their work and their history. Also includes brochures on each of the 4 shingle options. -Quote package also includes a list with addresses of all the houses in the Chicagoland area that Peterson has put a roof on in the last 3 years, and which type of shingles were used (roof type and color). So you can find a few houses that have the exact same shingles you are considering, and see how they look on an actual house. This was really nice to see. -Visited their facility in Mount Prospect with my wife during my lunch break. The owner's son took the time to discuss our questions so we could pick our options. Also gave us a tour of their showroom so we could check out some ridge vent options. He let us take some shingle samples home so we could compare them with the brick on our house. -The actual work was completed in 1 day by a 5-person crew and a foreman. -Workers showed up on time and kept the jobsite clean. Leaned plywood against the house to protect all the windows, and put tarps in the yard to catch any debris. -Workers cleaned up yard and driveway really well. -I was home the day the job was done, so I was able to watch the workers each step of the way. They appeared to do a really good job and did not cut any corners. Otherwise, I am no expert on roofing, and can only judge what I see. -Workmanship seemed to be good quality. We have had some windy days with no problems. They do not cut corners. They have a good reputation in our city. CONS: -The only suggestion I have is from the installation of the 3 new vents on the garage roof. It is a detached garage, and there is no ceiling. When they cut the 3 holes for the ridge vents, a lot of debris fell into the garage and on everything I had stored in the garage. I did not complain, though, because I should have known better. I knew they were cutting into the roof, but did not think ahead. I had the garage door closed all day, so they had no way of knowing, and no way to clean it up afterwards. So I did not say anything afterwards. It was no big deal for me because I don't store my cars in the garage, and I needed to clean it out anyway before winter. But in the future, I would recommend that they let the homeowner know before they start cutting. I probably would have been mad if I had a nice car or boat in there. So keep that in mind, no matter who you go with for a roof. If you don't have a ceiling in your garage, it will get messy inside. Conclusion: I was definitely happy with Peterson Roofing, and I would definitely recommend using them. I was really happy with the professional way they do business. I also watched the work being performed throughout the day and was happy with the workmanship. I will definitely call them again if I need quotes on gutters or siding.

The roof turned out above our expectations.. The repair to the roof was excellent. The door now opens correctly and no more sagging roof. . They laid tarps all around the house so debris could be collected,and not scattered all over the yard. The cleanup was great,not a old shingle,nails or unused wood could be found. They did everything that they said they would do. After the job was completed I had an item to be corrected, They were out the next day and had it fixed. I highly recommend them.

They were wonderful. I found out about them from my neighbor. It was a good price. Basically my inspector said the roof was at the end of its life. Not only did Peterson did a good job of putting on the roof, but they went into the bushes to look for anything they may have dropped. I have been recommending them to other people.

I thought they were very responsive. We had work that had to be completed before we had stucco done and they came out immediately so we could get other work done. They were wonderful and terrific. They took care of everything and by the time they were finished you could barely tell they were here.

I told them to take their time as I wanted a good job. I got a great job and they were done in 2 days!

He did a good job! He was the only one that noticed that our chimney needed tuck-pointing and he included that with fixing our shake shingles.

They are a very good company. I would work with them again.

Overall, we were very pleased with them. They did a great job. The job was more than anticipated. They could have looked into some of those issues beforehand but they didn’t. They did a good cleanup. We would use them again in the future if needed.

They completely took it down first. There is a flat roof over seven units, and to redo one provides difficulties for the people who are doing the work. They put it down to the rafters and put a dam in. They did high quality work and cleaned up after themselves. They were professional and were very respectful of my two neighbors? roofs. I've been using them for 20 years. They are expensive.
