 + -1 moreNo charge for checking brakes, also indicated brakes were still good, no service needed. We have been using them for years for both our older cars, mine has over 112,000 miles on it and I used daily in rush hour traffic to/from work. They are very honest, will allow you to drop car off early morn and try to work on it, usually do, pricing is very good, and they are very honest. I am picky about car mechanics, having worked on my own cars for years, and they have been the most honest. With good pricing, easy to deal with. They know their customers and cars. Highly recommend them. Also within walking distance to the train
Description of Work: My brakes were making a noise dropped car off early in morn they were able to work--found nothing wrong, maybe a piece of road salt got stuck in them, no charge.

Description of Work: Was not getting any significant heat into passenger compartment of 2009 Buick Enclave and I was concerned about driving in very cold weather because defroster could not clear windows properly after snow /ice . |Called on a very cold morning, they were very nice and sympathetic over the phone. They said bring it in and we will look at it in next couple hours (I live close enough to get back home on my own). They called me in a bit over an hour and said it was thermostat (not surprising) and they did the work and made it ready for me in another 1 + hour. They charged me 1/2 of what Buick had estimated when they had found that trouble code earlier (which went away). Buick service would have waited a couple weeks. Bruce could have taken advantage but they didn't. Great place to deal with, seems reasonably priced. Is a 1 man shop so maybe not always the great turnaround time I experienced.

 + -1 moreThey always do an excellent job. I have never had to take anything back a second time. It is always fixed the first time. The price is very very competitive as well and in my opinion they could probably charge more. They are always worth it. They make it very simple. I call them the night before I'm having the issue. Drop the car off in the morning before they're open. I usually get a call by 11 or 12 letting me know what is wrong and what it's going to cost. They have very rarely ever had to keep it overnight. They make it so easy.
Description of Work: My wifes vehicle had to have new brakes and rotors put on. We also had some work done on the thermostat.

 + -1 moreTheir price is reasonable. It seems like a good place to get your car fixed. They are honest and don't try to charge you for unnecessary work. They are out of the way, meaning they are not on a big street, but they have a steady company with steady business. I think it is a good sign when you are not on a main street but you still have a steady stream of people. I would recommend them to anyone.
