Doering, Dr. Jacob P.

Dr. Doering’s staff was exceptional as always. They were polite, friendly and made their part of my visit pleasant. However, Dr. Doering was the exact opposite. He informed me that I was there for a wellness visit, not a visit where I could ask several questions. Dr. Doering did not listen to my lungs when I told him that I was having breathing issues (I have asthma, had a severe case a pneumonia a few years back, and history of pulmonary embolism). He just told me that I needed to have a sleep study done for sleep apnea. In fact, every time I asked a question he told me that he would refer me to another health professional. When did primary care doctors stop doing anything? At one point, he even raised his voice with me and then tacked “ma’am” on the end as if that would make it better. Needless to say, I am now looking for a new primary care doctor.

The last visit went good.  I had him for three years and he is great.

I would say not well, not well at all when a person needs to schedule a mammogram immediately without paying $125+ to see a doctor to confirm that the person has felt a lump.

He's very nice, and very, very thorough with me, with asking questions and trying to figure out everything that was going on. The office is very helpful, if I had a problem, I could call them and get an answer.

My daughter has extensive medical conditions and he has just been amazing and has always been there for her. There is never any wait time. There aren't enough good things that I could say about that office.

It went well over all.

Dr. Doering comes from Texas, he does a very good job with me.
