They did a very good job and I really like the door and the lock they put in. They made sure the dogs did not get out and were very professional. They let me know what was going on and kept me informed at all times. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

K Brothers Fence did a fantastic job from start to finish. The communication with the office and install team was great, and all work was performed to my satisfaction and on time. Would definitely use them again.

I have a 4 foot Aluminum Fence with 2 gates, that runs around the house. They did the taking out and installation all in one day, they have provided me with a lot of options and the lady in the front desk was great. They have a quick and efficient process.

It was excellent. They were professional. They showed up on time. They cleaned up everything. They were very respectful. They answered all my questions. They were awesome and very good.

From the time I picked up the phone for a quote to the last phone call was THEIR follow up to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my gorgeous fence. Customer service was off the walls amazing, I have referred several friends and neighbors. The fence is perfect I never knew my backyard could look so beautiful!! I am a very picky person and will notice the smallest of imperfections, I am in the customer service business, any concern I had while the fence was being built (because of my picky ness) was reinsured after I started seeing the fence come together I sat back and relaxed because it was PERFECTION! The installers were very nice, professional, hard working men that really knew what they were doing. I can’t stress enough how happy I am that I went with K Brothers fence! OVERALL 110%

Gina is a crazy person, no help resolving issues. Threatens customers with company lawyer. Don’t recommend, just want your money

We regret ever hiring this company. We had one main goal in fencing our Mokena backyard: to keep our dog inside the fence and safe - nothing more! $8,000 later, that goal was never achieved. We explained this goal multiple times to Denise, the salesperson who came to our home. She saw our dog (a 15. Lb miniature poodle) in person, we asked her multiple times over 2 visits, will this contain our dog? She stated multiple times she has the same sized dog and the same fence and her dog is contained. She told us the regular Legend aluminum fence would be enough. We ordered the 290 linear feet of fence. Installation day went very well. The workers professionally installed being careful around our property. They installed the fence very low like we asked. A few days later the gates were installed; we released our dog and she went straight through the fence, to our horror!!! I have video and photo proof. I called my vet shocked and she said if a dog’s head can get through the fence slats, their body can easily get through. This is something a fence company should know, as one of the main goals of fencing is to contain dogs. I called and unfortunately spoke with Gina, the owner. We spoke 30 mins about a solution, the next day she berated me on the phone for taking up so much of her time the previous day. She quickly became dismissive, rude, and would storm off the phone in anger like a child, while I NEVER raised my voice and tried to come to a mutual solution. I can’t say the same for her. On the same call, the other worker took over speaking to me, and Gina would storm back on the phone in a childlike manner. Gina was threatening and knew what keywords to mention: i.e. “lawyer” and “recorded phone line” to try to scare us off. She even mentioned us leaving a “negative review” when we were just trying to obtain a solution and weren’t even thinking of/caring about leaving a review! She has obviously been through this many, many times before to have such a protocol with dissatisfied customers! We wanted all the fence panels removed and replaced with the puppy panel; we were willing to spend $2,500 more for the increased cost. Gina’s anger rose and she flat out refused! We tried to compromise and we suggested having mesh installed where K Bro’s pays for mesh and labor, Gina said NO. She even lied and said her company has never had 1 complaint until us; whereas her own worker said there have been multiple complaints before. Gina’s words cannot be trusted! 2 separate workers came out to our home and said Gina yells at them too! We feel so bad for the workers; what **** they must live through. David, a worker, was exceptionally helpful and kind. He said the main rule of K Bro’s is that all customers leave satisfied; too bad the owner doesn’t agree! One worker stated there’s a dog tester device that Denise must have forgotten to bring out that day, to make sure our dog can’t escape. Gina blamed us for our fencing choice! I told her the reason you have a professional come out to your home is to give you expert advice. Denise neglected to bring the dog tester to ensure our dog couldn’t get out. What Gina refuses to understand is that Denise never said, “Well, we cannot guarantee your dog won’t get out, you have to make that final product decision yourself, but here’s what we would recommend product wise. If you are that concerned about it, I would recommend the puppy panel fencing.” That’s what *I* would say as a salesperson. Denise NEVER expressed ANY doubt that our dog could get out. She never said a disclaimer (which I am sure they do now, at our loss!). Our neighbors and family were absolutely mortified and angered we were treated like this. Our neighbor got a quote from them and never hired them. To make matters shockingly worse, Gina told my husband to send the final payment and then she would talk to us about a solution. I was apprehensive. Gina lied just to get the final payment and go onto the next sale! We sent the payment, it was cashed, we had a worker come out to relay a message to Gina about us buying the mesh and K Bro’s providing free install; Gina said NO yet again. She didn’t budge one inch to make us satisfied, and she lied to us that there would be a solution just to get our final money. When K Brothers left us with no customer service, we ended up having landscapers install mesh where we had to pay for the product and the labor! Now we still have to worry about our (now 2 dogs) getting out with after-market mesh installed and probable wear issues down the line. If you have any kind of problem, Gina will not work with you for any solution! She blames the customers and there’s no nicer way to put it; she’s an aggressive bully. We have never encountered such an attitude and rudeness from a small company. My husband said her actions were unbelievable! For the sake of the company (not that we care), she should never be speaking to customers. It’s really a shame because the fence quality and installers were excellent, but Gina is inflexible and completely UNPROFESSIONAL when there’s a problem. If Gina’s able to delete our review and other negative ones, we would not be shocked. We highly suggest you look elsewhere for your own sanity. If they do not honor our lifetime warranty and labor warranty due to this review, *we* will seek legal action! Avoid them like Covid19! Any responses from Gina will be deleted without reading them; she had her chance to make us happy and she failed.

Fence on back order, never notified. I paid half in March, in July it was finally installed. I know the weather was a huge factor but we were never called or updated. When it was installed, we were told it would take 2 days, turned into 4 days. The crew showed up for 45 minutes the one day, Shane the manager had to come out and finish it. I never received an invoice for the next payment, when I called for a bill the girl in the office was beyond rude and stated that it was mailed an overdue. I explained I never received it and that is why I was calling. As a healthcare professional and an administrator, if one of mu employees spoke to a customer the way she did, she would have been terminated. I had a fence installed by them almost 5 years ago and they were wonderful to work with, I am not sure what happened over the years but I am truly disappointed in their response time and obnoxious, rude and unprofessional behavior of their office girl. I will not be using or recommending them in the future.

I put money down the first week in May. The fence was not put in until the 3rd week of July. The crew that came in to take down the fence and posts were friendly, professional, clean and did the job well. The second crew (Chris) was also professional, friendly, knowledgeable and clean. The fence looks great - I love it. The problem was with communication. During week 9 and 10, I called asking for someone to give me some idea of when the fence would be replaced. No one returned my calls. Finally, I received a call the day before replacement telling me the crew would be out "sometime tomorrow afternoon - we'll give you an hours notice". Crew showed up at noon - no notice. They had no idea when the second crew would come to finish. Crew arrived without notice two days later. Fortunately someone was home to notify the neighbors so they could take in their dogs. Very poor communication. Would I hire them again? Only if I was guaranteed better communication.

Very happy with K Brothers. Process took a little while, mostly because we got their proposal during peak season. Once we were scheduled though, the process went quickly. The old fence was removed and posts set on Monday and they put up the new fence on Wednesday. They were not the cheapest estimate we received, but they were the most thorough at explaining what they were going to do and explanation of the materials they would use. Other companies were not going to set the posts in concrete and use a lower quality material. Very happy with the fence overall, and the installers were very friendly and were sure to tell us that if there were any problems after the installation to call the office immediately.

I went to work came home and had a new fence. It was two days since they had to set the post.

K Brothers was excellent from the very beginning. My salesman, Marty was professional, efficient, and kind. He took his time to explain every option I was interested in. They have reasonable prices and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Tom, the installation manager, promised to have the post installed on a certain date and the installation two days later. The crew came and completed the work on both days as he had promised. Bruno, who seemed to be the lead fence installer was so professional, helpful, efficient, kind and seemed to be completly qualified. His team, Scotty and Jason were just as professional. Lisa, who works in the billing department was efficient, and could answer any questions about billing without delay. Everyone at K Brothers made it a pleasure to do business with them. If I should have any other needs in their expertise I wouldn't hesitate to call them. It was an excellent experience.

From start to finish K Brothers were awesome.  Very professional and polite.  Absolutely Love the fence.  No problems at all.  Would recommend to everyone!!

After 3 months of unreturned calls they did repair work and the work is just satisfactory.

We paid half down on May 20th and they have yet to come out here and do anything.   I think it's big jobs they're doing so poor little old me  keeps getting thrown over my old fence and unto the back burner.  I would like to enjoy the work, but I'm a senior citizen that doesn't buy green bananas so is my steel fence going to be around my property or the cemetery.  The installers showed up today and are doing great work. It was a long winter so good companies get loads of contracts so a little job like ours waits if weather has jammed up back orders that are big.  IT WAS WELL WORTH THE LONG WAIT!  I will ask why the front gate's lock has the screws on the outside while the back lock screws are on the yard side.

I called to schedule a fence estimate and the would never call back with a time. Avoid them if at all possible.

Arrived on time and did an excellent job cleaning up the job site.  Final installation of the gate was completed about a week later to allow the posts to thoroughly dry.  So, they used old fence material for a temporary gate until they could return.  My fence needed to bump up against a hot tub and they carefully custom cut the fence to insure my pets could not escape.  They also suggested angling one side to better accommodate a curved patio slab which was an excellent idea.  Workers were polite and took pride in their work.
