The Manager came and reviewed premises and gave me an estimate in October, 2013. I explained the contractor fixing window bay plaster and tile floors, etc. had to complete his work first. Contractor did not finish totally until mid-January, 2014. I kept in contact with Q's Cleaning throughout. They were very understanding and had no problems resetting dates for the service. As we approached the date, I would get a call asking whether it should stay on the calendar or be reset. The individual I spoke with each time was the same person. She was very pleasant, courteous and professional. We reset the date at least four times. The service said it understood contractor delays and did not hesitate to make requested changes. Finally, in early January, they were able to set a date to come and clean. They verified the appointment the day before and the morning they were to arrive they called to say the cleaners were on their way and when they would arrive. They came when they said they would. Two men spent approximately two hours cleaning the carpeting in all the rooms, going over the stained areas extra times. I had to leave before they finished. They locked up as directed without problem. The cost was the estimate figure. No additional charges were made for the postponements or weather related problems they encountered trying to get to the apartment when they did come. I went into the apartment again a few weeks later. I realized that the stains on the living room carpeting and in one of the bedrooms, places where the worst dirt and damage appeared, were still visible once the carpeting had dried. I called and asked if they could come back and see if they could get the stains out. They readily agreed. I offered to pay for the additional cleaning because I had seen them at work and knew they had really worked on the stains the first time. They sent a person out to check the stains and problems that I identified had remained. They called back the next day and said there would be no charge and set a date for the re-cleaning. They came the following week and re-cleaned the stained and dirt damaged areas. The cleaning has eliminated the visible stains and the areas with seriously embedded dirt and grime. They did an excellent job. They refuse to send me another bill for the extra work saying it is part of their services.
