Plumber who installed water heater would not answer calls for repair.
Second plumber seemed helpful. Took out part to get replacement part. Had me call Reliance to get part ordered.
Reliance was no help at all. Send me an email to flush the water heater. Did send two more emails and the third email....after me telling them how helpful they had been....with and quot;I'm sorryand quot; words.
Third plumber...Baker.....fixed the problem. Came when they said they would....and yes if this water heater continues to cause us problems we will have Baker install another.....not Reliance.

They are extremely professional and always show up on time, if not early. They are very informative about what is wrong. I had a drain sink and they were very informative about how to keep it from clogging up. Their demeanor is good.

We are having a jaccuzi tub put in our bathroom by another company and
asked Baker and Sons to come out and do an overall inspection of our
plumbing throughout our home. It was built in 1947! The gentleman was
very nice, professional and new his job well. He spent about an hour
under our home inspecting and gave us a much better report than what we
had expected. We will need some work after our jaccuzi is installed, but
our estimate is way below what we ever expected!

Very pleasant on the phone. Were careful to send the one plumber
who had experience with tankless water heaters. Showed up on time and
was pleasant and professional - even wearing slip-on booties to protect
my floor. Non-negotiable $85 fee for the look-see but I think that is pretty much
standard practice now. I called Baker and Sons when the water valve replacement
part that I ordered came in, and he returned - again on time - and efficiently replaced the water
valve. The area was left very clean and no sign of a leak any longer.

I was very pleased with the service. The serviceman were very efficient and they said if we had any problems to just call and let them know. I recommend them to others.

They were awesome! They came out, gave me an estimate, and then gave me an additional estimate for other things that could've happened along the job. They came in closer to the original estimate! They were quick, efficient and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. They also referred me to a company for a bathroom remodel and gave me some helpful information. I'd recommend them to anyone - they have a great reputation in town and have been in business for a long time.

This is the second time that I have used them. I received the service that I expected from them. They did a good job.

I called Baker and Son to repair leaks under both the kitchen and bathroom sinks and address water leaking (gushing really) out of the bathtub faucet handles. They sent two plumbers out to my house; one appeared to be an apprentice (Keith) while the other was more of a supervisor. After inspecting the house plumbing systems in the bathrooms and kitchen (They did not appear to check the laundry room. This became an issue a month later.), they made the recommendation that I replace the faucets in the bathroom sink and bathtub. They explained that I would save on labor costs (they estimated it would take more time to repair than it would to replace) and that the brand of faucet (Delta) that they would install would be easier to service in the future. After they left I found that there was still a leak under the bathroom sink, even though they had changed the whole faucet! They sent someone back the same day to stop the leak while I was at work. Since then it has been fine. They installed a different type of faucet in the bathtub (went from two handles to one handle) and had to remove the wallboard to complete the installation (They asked if this was okay before beginning the work.). After I renovated the shower walls and completed the installation, installing the faucet handle myself, I discovered that the hot and cold water were reversed. Fortunately, they had left me the book with the installation instructions. Nevertheless, I did not want to tinker with the part that they had installed. I called the Baker and Son office and explained that the cartridge needed to be reversed. They sent Keith back out and he reversed the cartridge in short order. There have been no problems with the faucet in the shower/tub since.

I was having trouble removing my old washing machine because I could not turn off the water source at the valves in the washroom. I called Baker and Son and asked them to replace the old valves. They sent out a single technician, who arrived early and completed the job quickly. He showed me the old valves and pointed out that the washers which should have been inside the valves were completely gone. I appreciate that the technician helped to educate me about the source of the problem.

The entire process was expensive, spread over three days and seemed to have been remediable on the first day and in a short time. I would not hire them again.

See above. Very friendly, professional plumbers completed work quickly and well. We are renters and do not know what owner was billed. Owner had worked w/ Baker before and was satisfied. The $300 figure above is estimated.
