Install went well. Clyde was professional and was here everyday when he said he would be.
After the tear out and install of the cabinets Clyde set it up so I could use my sink for the 10 days while we were waiting for the countertops to be made and then installed.
After the countertops were installed Clyde came back and completed all the finishing touches in 1 day.
I had Homecrest cabinets in Hickory installed and laminate countertops.  The cabinets look very nice, with a clean bright finish and the drawers have the  nice slow close feature.

I went to the Rockford Home Show and came back talking about remodeling one of our bathrooms. However, my wife of nearly 40 years informed me that she always wanted to remodel the kitchen ( so much for communication). We decided to replace the counter tops (cabinets were in good shape), replace the appliances, sink and tile.
After checking out several companies, we settled on All American Kitchens.  We chose Steve because of his experience and the way he approached the job.  Unlike some companies he did not "Tell us what we needed", He took the time to understand what we wanted.  Steve made suggestions, told us about products, talked about alternatives, and then let us decided what was best for us.  We sat down and scheduled such things as: tear out of counter tops, delivery of appliances, installation dates, etc.  Steve said once started, the project would take 5 days. Surprise -- It took 5 days !!!! It did not go on and on like you the horror stories you hear about remodeling.  The work was very professional. Victor and crew did an excellent job.  During the job, Steve often came to make sure everything was OK.

They out in counter tops, tile, sink, new appliances and everything except we kept our old cabinets. So basically they put in new granite counter tops, a stainless steal sink, a new stove, new microwave and a new trash compactor. They subcontracted someone for the electrical and tile work. The subcontractor was a little erratic. He would do some work and go away for a week. Then he would come back and do some more work. He was just kind of unreliable. He did everything. He did eventually finish it. I would not use them again. We are done with the kitchen and we will not use them for the bathroom.

I really liked that they gave us a schedule and they kept to the schedule.  In fact we were done earlier than we thought.  I would recommend their services to the others.  Their price was good.  When you work with them, you could go with a number of different prices.  We kind of knew the price range and we wanted to go with it.  So we kind of worked with that.  I thought their quality of work was very good.  Their punctuality was definitely good.  They were on schedule and then got ahead of it.  This was my experience with them and I don’t know about the others.

It was a fine experience.  I didn't have any complaints.  They were here everyday by 7:30 a.m.  The job turned out fine.
