I would never do anything to any of my trees without consulting them. They are EXPERTS at what they do and I will absolutely & exclusively continue to use them.

John was out within one week to do the estimate.

We're very happy with the work and would use them again.

I asked them if I could fix the tree myself and they told me I could. I couldn't find what they thought was wrong. I called them up again and they came out. They didn't know what it was. They were really honest with me and I was really happy with them. They didn't charge us for either time they came out, when they normally do. We will have to get the tree chopped down and we will call them to do it. They were very communicative with me and explained what was going on.

Called for an estimate and someone came to the house the next day, provided a written proposal and description of the services to be performed. After obtaining 2 other estimates and reading the reviews, I decided to give the work to Care of Trees. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in a safe and expeditious manner. All debris was removed and the even cut and stacked the wood for use in my wood stove. Great job!

They showed up on time and finished quickly. The quality was excellent. They were very accommodating with my schedule. It was a very good overall experience with them.

The trees with the rust and bugs responded well to the treatments given, no dead leaves this summer! Also, all the trees seem much healthier and the fruiting trees did produce fruits in large quantities for the first time since owning the home! There is the regular fertilizer, they use a liquid compost tea that gives the soil natural organic compound - I think it works very well. We are very happy with the service provided. Per my request, they called every time before coming out to perform a service. They don't usually do that, we only asked this because our house is on the market. They keep track of when and what needs to be done and will continue the service until we cancel it. It is nice to have them take care of it - one less thing that I need to remember and my trees are looking gorgeous!

They sent out a certified arborist. We walked around looked at everything and talked for quite a while and discussed what I wanted. I really appreciate that Rich Bergland took so much time with me and he is very knowledgeable. I will definitely use them again.

They did a good job of trimming up the tree and cleaning up the branches afterwards.

Excellent. Very careful around house and landscaping, cleaned up thoroughly! Professionally and cordially handled inquiries from neighbors. Good company. Will use again to remove an old maple infested with carpenter ants.

John Kelly came to meet with us for an estimate and to check the tree. He immediately said that the tree had a type of bug infestation and explained how he could tell. We had been told by another service that there was a fungus which we could spray for but that it would be a waste of money. He explained the fungus and the bugs and suggested a plan to treat both. The estimate for removing the limb was much better than the other service. The men arrived the next morning, removed the limb and cleaned everything up. We also arranged for further tree care when the weather warms up.

I thought they did an excellent job pruning and thinning of the trees. They also took away all the trimmed pieces and left my yard in the same condition in was in prior to the work. I requested someone to come out and give an estimate for work in the summer, Clay came out and he was wonderful, know his stuff. Then, we were short on money and had to put off doing the work until the Fall. I did have a difficult time getting them to set a time to come out to perform the work. The office is not able to help much to set appointments, so I ended up calling several times to get the job done. I told this was because the aborists do their own scheduling. But once they came, they were quick & very professional.

They have cabled a tree to preserve it, fed other trees and really do everything they can to save tree. Never felt they recommended something that wasn't necessary. I had to have a huge oak removed from near my home - it was dying & the horticulturist even stood & counted the rings to tell me it was between 210-230 years old. They care about what they do.

Clay (the arborist) was on time and knowledgeable. He and his crew did great work. The only problems were with the back office- scheduling the work and the invoice. After I signed the contract, no one called me to schedule the work. When I called a week later to follow up, the office didn't seem to have any record of my contract. They did schedule the work, but I had to wait an additional two weeks. Also, the contract called for an initial deposit to schedule the work, and then payment of the balance from my credit card. However, they sent me an invoice asking for payment in full. When I called the office, they told me the deposit hadn't been charged as the contract indicated and instead the full amount was charged to my card a few days after the invoice was sent, leaving a $0 balance. I would still recommend them for the quality of their work, but my advice is to follow up immediately if they don't call for scheduling or if the invoice is wrong.

Arborist was very knowledgeable and had very useful suggestions. Work crew was efficient and well run. Did an excellent job and cleaned up thoroughly.

Overall, my experience was excellent. I was very impressed with the Certified Arborist (Todd Fagan) who made the initial call and described the work. There was a bit of a mix-up with my paperwork, which delayed the work, but one phone call quickly solved the issue (they were extremely apologetic, and jumped on the work that same day). I was really pleased with how thoroughly they cleaned up all of the debris and hauled it away. I would definitely use The Care of Trees again, and would recommend them to others.

Workers were punctual, professional. Excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. There was a discrepancy regarding contract price and amount billed which took several phone calls and about a month to get cleared up. Overall, satisfied. Price was too high, otherwise I would hire again.

CLAYTON, THE ARBORIST, KNEW HIS FIELD WELL AND PROVIDED THE ESTIMATED PRICE. I HAD TO CALL TO FIND OUT THE APPROXIMATE TIME THAT THE WORKERS WOULD ARRIVE EVEN THOUGH I HAD ASKED TO BE CALLED. THE WORK WAS DONE TO MY COMPLETE SATISFACTION AND THE CLEAN UP WAS THOROUGH. ALL OF THE PERSONNEL WERE PROFESSIONAL IN ATTITUDE AND COMPETENCE. I OBTAINED THREE ESTIMATES AND ALL WERE IN THE SAME BALLPARK WITH ONLY A $35 SPREAD. I CHOSE THE CARE OF TREES BECAUSE THEY SEEMED MOST STRAIGHTFORWARD AND WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT WOULD SET A FIRM APPOINTMENT FOR GIVING ME THE ESTIMATE. THE OTHERS SAID THEY WOULD GET BACK TO ME WITHIN A WEEK. THEY DID, BUT WERE NOT OVERWHELMINGLY CONVINCING.

EVERYTHING WAS VERY POSITIVE. ALL WORKERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.

SCOTT, THE ARBORIST, HAS ALWAYS BEEN HELPFUL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE'VE USED C OF T AND HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR WORK. I HAD ASKED ABOUT HAVING OUR LARGE OLD EVERGREENS TRIMMED AND HE EXPLAINED THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO TRIM THEM INSTEAD OF TAKING AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MORE MONEY. VERY COMMENDABLE. THEY ARE ALWAYS ON TIME AND HAVE EVEN ACCOMMODATED MY NEIGHBOR'S LAST MINUTE REQUEST TO HAVE HIS STUMP REMOVED AT THE SAME TIME THEY WERE OUT TO TAKE CARE OF OUR TREES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF SHAPING ND TRIMMING THE TREES. WE WERE ABLE TO NEGOTIATE ON THE PRICE AS WE HAD A QUOTE THAT WAS LOWER FOR THE SAME WORK. WHILE THEY DID NOT MATCH THE LOWER PRICE - THEY DID COME DOWN SOME. THEY WERE RECOMMENDED ON ANGIE''S LIST AND ALSO BY A FRIEND FOR WHOM THEY DID WORK.
