Illinois Energy came out right away and gave us a window replacement quote. They were very informative and detailed and we decided on getting 9 windows replaced. R They came out and double-checked the measurements a few days later. The windows were ready early which was a great surprise. They were installed and we are very satisfied.

I was in need of having 2 large rotten windows replaced. Now how to choose a window replacement company? I've seen all the TV commercials for various providers. I was concerned about the installation as there was some rotten wood. I eventually selected Illinois Energy Windows, as the installer are not subcontractors. They were also able to configure a custom window that works better but still met the home owners assoc. requirements. Upon arrival the installer laid tarps all the way to where the windows would be installed. The installation went smooth and they actually cleaned up after. Check them out.

Illinois Energy is a top-flight company! They were on top of it from the moment we called them to inquire about our large windows (68” x 46”). We had three-to-four companies come through our home with the same spiel but Illinois Energy had a good price (somewhere in the middle) and had a warranty that was above-and-beyond better than all the competition. We were able to haggle a little to get to a price that worked for both parties. When the day came to have the windows installed, the contractors were quick and efficient. It looks as if the windows were always there. They cleaned up and overall did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again in the future.

We have had a relationship with Illinois Energy for about 5 years now with multiple rounds of installation as our budget allowed. They have now replaced all of our windows, the front door and gutters and every experience has been stellar. From the initial sales meeting to the measuring appointment through installation, every employee and crew has been friendly, responsive to questions, knowledgeable, efficient and detail oriented. We never felt pressured to add on services or go beyond what we could afford but knew we would get the same quality and service each time we were ready for another round. It is almost sad that we don't have any more for them to do! We will not forget the small personal touches or the above and beyond moments each of the team members and crew left behind. We have hired Illinois Energy for all of our window projects, and we have always been pleased with the quality of the windows and the excellent customer service. They just finished the last of our window replacements. We are already seeing better energy efficiency in our home and the noise reduction is amazing! We live near a busy street next to a train station, and we hear next to nothing since having these windows installed. Illinois Energy is an excellent company to work with.

We most recently had a portion of our windows replaced on the back of our home along with our sliding glass patio door. From the time we sat down to meet with the personable sales manager to the incredibly respectful installation crew we could not have been happier. They arrived on time and left no mess for us to clean up. They knew what our needs were and were not pushy at all. The customer service department is very helpful and easy to talk to. Our windows and patio door are easy to operate and keep out the draft. We will definitely be using them again to replace more windows in our home.

During the pandemic, we replaced our family room windows and sliding door. I shopped around and had 4 other companies come out and give us estimates. Illinois Energy Windows gave us the best price and had the best warranty. 2 years later, we went back to them to finish our upstairs. We replaced 8 more windows and again, price was reasonable. The workers for both of the times were very nice and really cleaned up after them selves. They moved all our furniture and returned it when they finished. This company has been around for over 20 years….they aren’t going anywhere! They also have the best customer service….this is a family owned business so make sure if you are looking for windows, support Illinois Energy Windows & Siding.

Working with Illinois Energy was the best decision we could have made for replacing our patio door! From start to finish, they were professional, responsive and went above and beyond to make everything work for us. The free estimate visit was booked quickly and their knowledgeable and friendly salesman was honest and transparent about their products and pricing as well as competitors. The day of installation was a breeze as all the work was completed in the morning and a minor unexpected discovery led to no additional charges at all. The customer service was excellent as they followed up to make sure everything went smooth. The incredible and thorough warranty coverage included with everything is truly the best peace of mind you could ask for. The leaking issues with the previous door are a thing of the past and we know this door will last us for the long run and save us a ton on energy costs. My house has settled over the years and it became increasingly difficult to throw the deadbolt on the garage door leading into my backyard. Also the 50+ year old single pane sidelights of my front and back doors caused cold spots every winter and I was using narrow shades all summer to block the hot sun. I found a sales flyer from Illinois Energy Windows & Siding Inc. on my door in late November and called for an appointment. The sales agent came to my home with sample binders. This greatly simplified the selection process by making it easier to envision how well each door or hardware choice would look in my rooms. It also is great for picking the best colors to complement the door areas since you make your color selection in available light of the actual space instead of the typical harsh florescent light in a retail store. I told him I wanted to increase my front door to a 40 inch model and my back door to a 36 inch of course with narrower sidelights. If my old garage door also had a sidelight, I would have gone with a 36 inch replacement to make it easier to roll out the lawnmower. Before the appointment, I spent several hours grabbing screenshots of the types of doors that I thought would look best in front & back. He reviewed the pictures on my tablet, asked a bunch of questions and we had a good discussion. This was no way near the canned, high pressure sales pitch I was anticipating. It probably took too long on my part, but there were so many choices to select from. He was patient, helpful and would offer good advice when I asked. As is now common, a few supply chain issues caused delays or resulted in me making some minor changes to hardware to move things along. But I was kept up to date with voicemail and text messages from them and never had to track someone down for an update. Since I wasn't in a hurry from the start, this wasn't a concern. The installation was painless for me and very efficient. The installers covered the areas with plastic to contain any mess and everything was absolutely spotless when they were finished. They did most of the pre-assembly work on my driveway and went out of their way to prevent debris from flying around the neighborhood. They removed an old door and completely cleaned up that mess before moving to the new installation phase. Here's another big plus. They used caution tape to secure their laydown / work area before unloading the new doors from their truck. I have a neighbor who likes to "help supervise" projects like this and I believe the barrier tape and "Work Zone" signs kept him at bay. I did not remember this from the sales meeting (there was a lot of talking) but the 3 storm doors were all made my Larson, a top notch storm door manufacturer. The installers matched my existing interior moulding / door trim so the new doors blend right in. The work was finished 6 days ago. I waited to write this in case something popped up, but it never has. I remain extremely pleased with the fit and the quality of the 3 exterior pre-hung doors I selected. And the installers were top notch professionals. I don't know how common a 20-year transferable warranty is these days, but it is a big plus in my book. While I am 100% certain I could have had three doors replaced for a lot less money, if it turns out that they continue working this well and looking this good for the next 20 years, it was well worth the money. And although it's too hard to prove, I will save a little on my future energy bills. No compensation was accepted for writing this review.

The salesman, Paul Nicholson, was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful with setting everything up and helping us pick out what was right for what we needed. The windows are the right price for the quality of product and professionalism we received. They came out again before Installation to double check measurements and know exactly what had to be done. We used Illinois energy twice, and both times the group of gentlemen that did the Installation definitely exceeded our expectations. They were quick, cleaned up after themselves, taught us how to use them, friendly, and communicated their time arrival and met they time window. I would absolutely recommend Illinois energy!

After my parents, my brother, and my wife's parents all used IEW for windows and siding we figured it was our turn! Garrett came out when both my wife and I could be available and explained what we did and did not need. Never felt pressured or "tricked" into buying anything. We went with insulated siding as he said our issues were most likely siding related rather than windows and if we had to do only 1, he would do siding. ..... he was right! The insulated siding is amazing! Home is warmer and quieter! The basement escape windows are definitely worth the extra money. While they are a bit more expensive than others; they look nicer, insulate better, feel safer, and will likely last a LONG time by the look and feel of them. The installing team really busted their tails. Very meticulous and attentive to detail. There were only 2 or 3 very minor issues that needed correcting afterwards (fyi: there always are no matter what project it is so don't freak out when it happens!) Very responsive (you will NOT find a better warranty), IEW had one of their maintenance technicians out in less than a week who fixed everything on the spot! also, this guy is really amazing. While he was fixing the issues i noted, he asked if i had any other questions. I did - some were not even related - and he answered them anyway. Eventually we will need new windows - we will be using IEW for that too! Thanks for a great product and service. Our family thanks you!
