My car stopped moving on the highway. I called a few shops & got the run around until I called DuPage Transmission. They got a tow truck sent to me right away, set up a rental. They told me the planets failed inside my transmission & it was full of metal. They rebuilt the transmission & replaced my radiator. They made me feel very informed about what had failed & what my option where & how long it would take to repair. When I got the car back, the took the time again to explain the why & how of the failure & what steps I could take to help prevent this form happen again. I also found out the do all repairs. Will use them again

They kept communication open. Their pricing was competative and the customer service was good, as well.

We had to take it back twice afterwards because of loose bolts they didn't tighten up enough, I had to go without a car a couple of days each time. They also cut an exhaust hose in the engine and duct taped it back on. I took my car in for an oil change somewhere else and that's where I found out they'd done that. They didn't even tell us they us they cut the hose. The transmission is holding up.

They were professional from the first visit and quote, through to the delivery of my repaired auto. Would highly recommend this company.

The transmission on the Dodge Grand Caravan started leaking again and took the van to my favorite car repair shop, Brian's Auto Repair in Montgomery, Ill. Brian had repaired the leak before and I brought it back to him to to do the same. However, this time he saw that it was a seal on the transmission that was the problem. He said that he could replace the seal, but the metal filings in the transmission fluid meant that the transmission was grinding itself into furture failure. Brian set up a tow to have the van brought to Dupage Transmissions Service.They called me to let me know that they now have the van and would let me know what they see when they to the inspection. A day latter they called me back and recommended that I have the transmission rebuilt. While I thought the price was a little high, I had them proceed with the repairs. The next day they had the car ready for pick-up. They kept me informed, did the repair quickly and were friendly to work with. If I have any problems, I have two years to have them resolve it.

My 2007 Honda Fit had died a couple of times after using the battery for less than ten minutes, and went and quot;kerchunkand quot; as I waited at stop lights. Felt as though I was being lightly rear-ended. My other shop could not find the cause of the problem. Wally and his crew figured out it was a misfiring pin and a coil. They explained that this also caused the battery issues, I did not need a new battery. They also did a tune-up and oil change at my request. Very professional, courteous, clean, and helpful.

It went well. They got us in quickly and got the work on time. They were good at returning calls. They explained in detail and showed us the parts afterward. They were very knowledgeable.
