Tl;Dr; AVOID FOR ANYTHING BEYOND SIMPLE MAINTENANCE OR HVAC ONLY JOBS Our entire experience with the HVAC team has been great. They have been attentive, had no problem with cleaning out the vents, and installed a vent fan for us with no issue. I had no problem pay for what they charged. It was a good chunk of money, but I thought it was worth it for what they had to do. That brings us to the electric and administration in general. We were having a bathroom vent fan replaced and exhausting out from the roof. This required an electrician to come and install the fan. Additionally he was going to be looking at some electrical anomalies we were seeing in the house (GFCI flipping, inconsistent current). He wasn't told about the fan at all. He wasn't even really told about the GFCIs flipping either. So when he gets here, he gets sprung on him these additional things. He does the GFCI thing, isn't able to see the inconsistent current while he is here so doesn't do anything with that, and then goes to do the bathroom. He says he ran new conduit. Inspecting what is there myself, I can tell you there is no new conduit. Why would new conduit be ran when no new switches, no new functionality was added? He charges us well over $500 for installing that fan AND HE LEAVES A HOLE AROUND THE FAN DIRECTLY TO THE ATTIC. How does a company charge that without completing the job with no intention on following up? We contest the price we were charged for service with management and they keep dragging their feet to "try to learn more", offering to refund a charge that I wasn't trying to contest. They keep promising to call back but aren't. There is no communication between different members of the team except through notes that don't tell them anywhere close to the full story. When I finally heard back from them today, they came back with a "Well your wife was okay with paying it and the work" when she was under the (admittedly presumptuous) impression that the HVAC guys would fix the fan because, again, why would they leave a hole in the ceiling like that. Not only that since she she paid the cost there will be no discussion of refund for work they didn't do. The communication is extremely poor from them. Do not use them from anything that is at all more complicated that requires multiple departments or this is the risk you run.

Right plumber for the job! I had several other plumbers come and offer me quotes for my low water pressure. When Mostapha was invited into my home, he saved the day by repairing my pipes and fixtures. He used his magic to solve the issue under my kitchen sink. I knew this was the right solution because his suggestions, knowledge, and clarity helped me understand the problem. Other plumbers had offered me quotes almost $3,000 more but stated their service might not fix the issue. Mostapha solved my plumbing problems. I would recommend and hire him for any of my plumbing issues.

Two years after install of two thermostats one wasn’t working to turn the air conditioner on. One works fine other one didn’t. Last fall they sent a guy twice and charged me for a service call. Honeywell has a five year warranty on thermostat. Toltec warranties nothing related to their labor. WORST PART IS THAT THIS SPRING AFTER THREE TRIES THEY STILL BLAME ME AND WONT COME TO FIX WHAT THE GUY SAID WAS A PROBLEM AT THIRD VISIT, A LOOSE WIRE. Who likes spending their afternoons paying for a man who smells like a cigarette to put on his false pleasantries?

I was having issues with my boiler furnace. I noticed my gas bill had doubled and the furnace itself was making loud noises. I was hesitant to call contractors thinking some would rip me off and over charge me. I gave Top Tec a chance and im glad i did! Juan showed up to my home on time and very diligent! I had called around to a dozen places for quotes and Top Tec was the way to go!! Juan explained everything he was doing. He was very meticulous. This my first time writing a review for anything. There were two employees of the company doing work and they did not keep their faces covered the entire time while in my home. They also did not wear gloves as stated in the Angie's list COVID information section. I am hoping that they did quality work but in this current environment this behavior just isn't acceptable. The company said "sorry."

Amazing customer service and professionalism. We have used Toptec Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical, Inc. several times over the years and we have never gone wrong. I love that you are given a quote upfront before any work is completed. You will not be blindsided you are with an honest team of professionals who are always upfront about costs. We called for a leaking pipe, we were seen the same day. When the technician arrived he was able to find the leak, in a very tight spot, and fix it in no time. The tech also uncovered the source of the problem. In a short afternoon he had our pipes working and up to code. The techs even wear little shoe covers to keep your floors clean. I wouldn’t call anyone else, Toptec always wows. I am so grateful for their amazing work and prompt service!

I called Top Tec Oct 4 to check my existing water heater. Steve came out and looked it over and gave me the bad news. My 9 year old water heater was shot. The next day, Steve removed my old water heater and installed a new Rheem water heater. I could not be more pleased with how quickly the work was completed and with Steve’s expertise!
