Aelite Chimney

We were very satisfied with the job. They did the job in the time estimate. Everything was clean and fast; there were on time with no delays. Everything was perfect.

Explained the process and made me feel comfortable that everything was done to my expectations.

I received three different estimates and decided to get my chimney service from Aelite Specialties. They were on time for the estimates and were on time to start the work. They were very professional and let me know just what they were doing in all stages of the work they preformed. They relined my chimney, patched the vent area coming from my furnace and tape sealed all my vent connects. They also recommended I contact my furnace installer to get my filter inlet holder redesigned. After the patch work dried on my chimney, they came back to apply a water proof application. i was very satisfied with the work preformed.

They did a good job and it was reasonably priced. I was pretty happy with them. The price came in exactly as quoted. The experience was very good and they came on time. They explained everything and explained what they had found in the inspection and what they recommended. I've used other chimney sweep providers that had provided exorbitant prices. I felt good about them. They gave options, which was very helpful. There are a lot of shady companies that do this type of work.

Nick did a great job. Very honest and up front with everything. I will be using Aelite from here on out! Excellent job!.

The experience with Aelite Chimney was great. I called to get quote over a year ago. They came out the next day to quote and gave me a very competitive price compared to three others. A year later, I called back to have the work performed. They honored their original quote, scheduled the work for 10 days later and setup a time to walk-through what they were going to do. On the morning of the scheduled work, they showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up after themselves and left no trace other than a great looking chimney. Before they left, they even took the time to answer some unrelated questions about masonry and offer recommendations about some other projects around the house. I would highly recommend their services.

Starting with the estimate in June through completion, our experience with the principal, Nick Wagner, was positive. He is knowledgeable at his craft and conscientious about his work. His employees we came in contact with were consistently pleasant and conscientious as well. I did not grade the price section of the report because I have no experience with this type of work and therefore have no way to appraise the price we paid. I did get two estimates and the type and extent of the work I was quoted was the same and Nick's estimate was several hundred dollars lower than the other company. We feel that the quality of the repair is excellent, and the overall B grade has nothing to do with the work but rather our disappointment that the bricks were not a match to the existing chimney. We were told that they were no longer available. The other small thing contributing to the B is a communication glitch. I never told them in initial contact that we got their name from Angie's list, on which they advertise a 5% discount. I got a written estimate from Nick on his initial visit which has no reference to discounts. When the computer generated confirming estimate arrived, it stated in bold print that all discounts had been applied and no other discounts were allowed. I brought this up before approving the quote and was offered a 2.5% discount, which I accepted. I feel that the company needs to clarify and communicate its discount policy up front. That said, I reaffirm my confidence in their quality and service, and will call on them if there is future need.

The project cost me $1200. They swept the chimney and capped one of the chimneys. They realigned another chimney. I didn’t have any issues with them. I will recommend them to others. I will use them again in the future.

They were fantastic and we were very pleased. They were able to match the brick on our house, which was built in 1967. They did everything they said they were going to do. They cleaned up afterwards. There is a zoning restriction on when contractors can work on weekends and they came before that hour on a Saturday. We were new in town and our next day neighbor came over and made us aware of that. They apologized and didn't do it again. That was the only negative thing that happened. Their price and quality were good.

The need and location of the animal removal was discovered during inspection of the chimney and existing liner. Aelite took care of the problem immediately for a very small fee. Their willingness to do this on the spot showed me that they were not just

Could not have gone any better, very happy with result. Working on a roof in 20 degrees is not easy.

Nick came out to give an estimate for repairing the chimney. He described the work to us very throughly. He is the person who actually comes out and does the work. They forgot to call with our estimated date for the work when they received our deposit. They were very apologetic when we called to find out if they had received the deposit. They came out and were able to do the work in about 3/4 of a day. The chimney looks great and they didn't leave any mess at all.
