Jim was GREAT! When I initially called to schedule his father had just died - and amidst all of that he was courteous, told me he'd call back to schedule an appointment once he knew his schedule. He called back promptly, was very professional. When he came at the appointed time he was very friendly, provided a good explanation of what he would do, confirmed the price. He advised me NOT to clean my couch as I would not be happy and I could better apply the money towards a new one (I told him I was planning to get a new one in the future). He did a VERY thorough job of cleaning my bedroom carpet and got out some soap stains that his predecessor tried TWICE to get out and couldn't. My carpet has never looked cleaner. All in all it was a GREAT experience - I will hire Jim again!

Jim arrived exactly on time. He worked steadily, efficiently and with no breaks (this is hard work) both days and was not rattled that our 2 large barky dogs were occasionally in the way. He is cheerful, knowledgeable, considerate and a pleasure to have here. What was so stunning was the extraordinary effectiveness of his work. In all our years, never have we seen the carpets look as good after a thorough cleaning and the couches sparkle. All is like new...really! The cleaning products have only a very, very slight citrusy odor (nothing toxic is used) which is new to us having been used to smelly concoctions in previous years. Never have we had such success as we have had with Jim. The couches were dry this morning (we broke the work into 2 days) and the carpets are only mildly damp so they'll be at least surface dry by tomorrow. What a great way to begin the holidays! We highly recommend JEJ Masterclean and already it's in my appt. book to call Jim in the fall of 2014 for a November thorough cleaning. There are no negatives to mention and we are thrilled with the results.

JEJ Masterclean is the BEST carpet cleaner I have ever worked with! Every aspect of dealing with them has been fantastic!! They return calls on a timely basis, understand customer's needs, show up on time and perform excellent services for a reasonable price. I had been looking for someone to clean my carpets having had issues with past carpet cleaners. I was really happy with Jim's work. He came on time and cleaned the basement ceramic tiled floor really well. When I spoke to him on the phone to make the appointment, he quoted me a price, but then when he arrived here this morning and took measurements, the priced was less than what he told me. The floor is now clean and I can feel comfortable moving my things back down to the basement. I will definitely use this company again.

Very well. He was punctual, thorough and professional. He communicated clearly. My initial contact by e-mail was prompt. All in all, the best carpet cleaning experience I've had.

Showed up on time. Called us to set up appointment even though he was out of town. Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable. In an out - helped move furniture back. Very flexible.

Jim was able to squeeze our job in on short notice. As always, he was professional, pleasant and did an excellent job.

He arrived on time and made notes about measurements of areas to be cleaned. I told him I had already had a painter and the windows washed and was concerned that walls or sliding glass doors might get splashes. He said that that wouldn't happen with the equipment he uses and if there were any smudges anywhere he would definitely clean them up. After that he laid tarp over floors and areas he was going to pass through. His truck had all the equipment of cables and vacuum hoses and water dispensers attached to it, so no large bins of water were brought through the house and he supplied his own hot water for the cleaning. It took about two hours and he had me check each area to see if I was satisfied. I am an artist and used to have pets. He told me previously that some oil paint stains and some old pet stains might not totally come out. There is very little evidence of old stains, everything looks wonderful.

Jim did an amazing job cleaning our carpets. We have 2 kids under 4 and 2 cats and the carpet was a disaster. The carpet looked like new after he was done. Most impressive is that he gave me an estimate over the phone based on my guess of our square footage. He came and measured every inch of our basement and trimmed nearly $200 from his original estimate. I would absolutely use him again.

I am absolutely pleased with the service Jim provided. My sofa and loveseat look like new again. Jim was very professional and knew exactly how to go about cleaning those two items. He said that he could wet-clean or dry-clean. We then decided to have part of the sofa (cushions that were badly soiled) wet-cleaned and the rest of sofa and loveseat dry-cleaned. As I said at the beginning, I am so happy with the result. I will definitely recommend JEJ Masterclean to my friends.

I think the true test of someone's character is when there is a problem. There was a problem and Jim dealt with it pleasantly, professionally and patiently. Also, the carpets were definitely cleaner than when he started; we didn't have stains, and even though we don't wear shoes in the house and vacuum every 2 weeks, there is just enough dust in the air to make the carpets dirty. They were obviously cleaner after he was done.

Very nice and friendly service, work was done outstanding, carpet looked better than we expected it would be coming out. Really good and clean work. We'll use him for sure again.

This is the second time I have had Jim come to my house to clean my downstairs carpet. His communications are excellent; I get really frustrated when a home service contractor doesn't return calls or emails, and Jim has always been friendly and prompt in getting back to me. He is very thorough and professional, and he gets right to the work at hand, pre-treating problem stains and traffic areas. I also appreciate that unlike other carpet cleaning services I've used in the past, Jim doesn't try to sell you any unnecessary services or products. I am very pleased with the results!

Jim is the most delightful to interact and do business with. From the moment he showed up until the lost spec of dust and dirt was out of our carpet, Jim was courteous and professional. I had initially estimated how much was there and over-estimated, so Jim revised our estimate based on actuals. The carpet looks amazing and I am a little angry at myself for letting my kids play in our basement when the carpet was that dirty. Parent of the year award I guess.

Everything went smoothly. He was always on time. He picked up the carpets, took them to clean which was only a weeks time. He called when he was ready to deliver to ask when was a convenient time for me.

He did a fantastic job! He sprayed the basement carpet w/ a stain resistant product, touched up a couple of minor spots that reappeared and cleaned a couple of pet stain spots in another room I had just mentioned (he had not cleaned that room originally). What a great job and a great guy! I am telling all my neighbors about him and I will definitely have him back!

Jim arrived on time (I was still brushing my teeth!), measured the areas to be cleaned, which was a smaller area than I had estimated to him over the phone. He also was willing to give me an estimate over the phone so I had some idea how much it would cost. Another company refused to give me an estimate over the phone and wanted a guarantee from me to do the work if he came to do an estimate. Because the area was less than I had told him over the phone, the final cost was much less than I had expected and, in fact, very reasonable and with Angie's discount it was even better! There were some staines in the basement that he managed to remove which I thought might not come out. The family room carpet had several spots from an old dog, along with pet oils from where he would lay along with some very bad traffic areas. The carpet now looks like new! I am so pleased that I will have him back for as much work as I can give him. I have a second floor of carpet and stairs that will need to be cleaned soon. I will definitely call Jim!

Jim was very responsive to my initial call and was informative about the process on the phone, and showed up early to our appointment. He quoted a price based on estimated square feet, and came through even lower after his measurements. We walked through the process and he gave me an assessment on the stains in the carpet. This is the second time we used JEJ after trying several other services over the years (most OK). We decided to try Jim after reading Angie's List reviews. We are very satisfied with Jim's work and like him as a person. He was in the business many years (Service Master) before going out on his own,. He really knows carpeting and fabric and he is very thorough. He uses steam extraction at various temperatures depending on the type of fabric. We turned our back on "shampooing" years ago after learning about the downsides. The final result is always to our satisfaction. He does not cut corners. He is personable and professional. No overselling or BS. Customer satisfaction is foremost. We will continue to call JEJ about twice a year as it is a good investment in the long-term look and wear of carpeting. In fairness to all carpet cleaning services, some stains just won't come out and some worn carpeting or upholstery will never look new again. Be realistic in your expectations.

Fabulous experience from initial phone call (and immediate response) to conclusion (final bill was actually lower than estimate).
