I was so impressed I, with daughter in tow, went to the La Grange Highlands shop.
No high pressure tactics. A picture window opened to building operations section.
The store was clean and quiet.
We went from bed to bed. Amber came back few minutes and asked if there were questions.
Many of them were answered.
Since I had a medical issue she suggested I see Tim since I was ambivalent to which mattress
was suitable.

Well we did, and within the hour Tim had me confident and helped find the correct match.
Again no rushing, but all the options, the materials, etc were covered.

My new custom bed will be delivered this weekend!

Make sure you wear comfortable clothes so one can spend time on each
bed. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Make sure you let the staff know of any aches and pains!
I highly highly recommend this place.

Easy, one-stop shopping for a mattress and box springs. Open till 8:00 on some nights. Product made right there so sales people are totally knowledgable. I scheduled the delivery for the following week in Old Town, Chicago, in the evening and they were punctual, polite, and assembled the frame and bed. Very impressive. I will always go there from now on.

I had seen this shop featured a while ago on Channel 11. I am paranoid about bedbugs so I wanted a shop that didn';t carry old mattresses in their trucks. I checked Angie's List for their rating (which was good.) I then called the shop and talked to the owner who actually makes the mattresses on the premises. He informed me of his policy of not taking anyone's old mattresses back in his truck. He even said he could deliver on the afternoon of the week when I have to put my garbage at the curb and his guys would carry my old bedding to the curb for me.
I went to his shop and checked out the mattress styles. I ordered 2 bed sets with custom twin mattresses and box springs and head boards. We agreed on delivery the following week. I had to return to the shop because 1 of the head boards turned out to be unavailable anymore from the manufacturer. I was able to pick out another one from his catalog. Delivery date remained the same.
The following week the sets were delivered as promised( The mattresses were sealed in plastic.) The delivery men put together the new frames and head boards. They carried the old stuff out to the curb. They set it all up and even took away the packing materials from the mattresses and head boards. I would definitely use this shop again!

I ordered a 2 sided mattress and box spring. They are made of high quality and are top of the line. I have already recommended them to others. I didn't feel like I got the royal flush of sales pressure. It was a pleasant experience.

My son, daughter and I stopped in one evening, looking for a new bed for my son's new apt. in the city. Tim directed my son to several types of mattresses just to compare how they felt, and the various prices. It was pretty easy for him to select one, and we also decided to get a frame and headboard. The bed was going to be delivered downtown, and since they had 2 other deliveries in the city, they tacked this on too, and were very reasonable. They came at the time promised, set it up and everything was fine, and my son really likes the new mattress too! We liked Tim very much - very service oriented, genuine and helpful.

My husband and I had a great experience! We had never purchased a mattress before and were really suffering with aches and pains from our old one. I had read about Tim on Angie's List and we were so pleased that he was there on the day we went in. We told Tim what our old bed was like and what we preferred. Tim directed us to a very reasonably priced mattress. In addition to answering all of our questions, Tim offered to have two different box springs delivered with the mattress we purchased so that my husband and I could see which height worked best in our room! All of the mattresses are made to order. We were never pressured in any way. Delivery was free, they took away our old mattress and in a week we were settled and very happy with all aspects of our experience. We felt very well taken care of and we would never go anywhere else!

I stopped in at the Sleep Shop because I had seen it on Angie's list just to browse, with no intention of buying just yet and came out having bought a new mattress and box spring set. Tim, an employee who has been there for 17 years, is extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. And. He is not pushy at all. He explained that the company only makes the mattress after you order it, so it's basically "custom made" which has made me the envy of all my friends. He explained the differences in the mattresses and box springs and did not try to "guide" me towards buying anyone particular item. I ordered the mattress on a Thursday and it was delivered on that Saturday morning as promised. It's beautiful! Even the deliverymen were knowledgeable and reminded me to rotate the mattress every two weeks. If you go to the store, there is a large window that shows the "shop" where Tim was working when we arrived. You can see different products as they are being manufactured. Very interesting!

Knowledgeable salesperson, they construct all mattresses on site, quick turnaround, convenient and courteous delivery. All around, a good transaction. They also have a Brookfield store.

I was surprised that this shop is so competitive price-wise. I think the quality can't be compared. I am so glad I discovered this gem. They have been around for a long time and make about 200 mattresses a month. When we need another mattress, this is the ONLY place we will go.
