Our property management goal is to provide the highest level of customer service, leadership, and value available in the industry today. To meet this goal, we work closely with the Associations’ board of directors to gain the best understanding possible of the wants and needs of the Association. Your Association will immediately become an important client in our portfolio. Your Association is not simply another Association in our portfolio, but would become an integral part of what we are striving to achieve in our managed neighborhoods.
As a member of the condominium board we interviewed and hired Eagle Rock. The association needed a strong leader and had recently gone through a few bad experiences with both bad contractors and bad property managers and we were looking for a company that was willing and able to help us rebuild our association. We were very upfront about the fact that we knew there was going to be a lot of hard work in getting the association back on its feet, and that a key to hiring them, was that they would communicate, communicate, communicate with the board and our residents. They promised that they were a small company that would be able to devote a property manager entirely to our association and that they would be right for the job. Shortly into the contract we noticed that we were not getting the response from them as promised, and even simple maintenance issues were being ignored. A new property manager was hired to help us with our property, but she had her own agenda, and she was not adequately supervised by the owners of Eagle Rock, and she was left to make some shady decisions for the property, and I know that she was accepting under the table "bonuses" from the contractors she hired. In addition she played board members against each other and conducted elections non professionally. When her practices were brought to the attention of the owners- nothing was done. Over the last year of the contract- things really began getting even worse, and communication and participation slowly dwindled. Finally, When Eagle Rock decided that they no longer wanted to manage our property- many months before the end of the contract, they simply checked out completely. They took their monthly check and cashed it, and they stopped answering all emails, phone calls, attending board meetings- and left the association to fend for itself for many months. We had hired Eagle Rock with much faith in them and they let us down entirely. The worst part was that they did it in a most unprofessional manner. This company was worse than even some of the previous bad property managers we had on site in the past. Simply- do not every hire them.
