Founded in 1996, J & K has held quality workmanship at its core from the very beginning. We started as a exterior restoration company with 5 employees. We were small, but we knew that if we worked hard and stayed true to our quality we would be successful in the long run. In 2005, responding to huge demand, we started working as a General Contractor. The dedication to quality, strong work ethic and great customer service continued to be our hallmark. Over the years we have grown and learned to never forget the ethics that have guided us. Today we find the marketplace more competitive than ever before. The rapidly rising cost of materials, fuel and labor make surviving in our industry more and more difficult. Unfortunately the result is a high failure rate of businesses in our market. We find security in the fact that we still operate like a small business, flexible and agile, efficient and innovative. We live in the marketplace. We know what the competition is doing and can react quickly. We have cutting edge industry innovation at our disposal and offer the most effective construction solutions to our clients. We offer the best thermal siding systems available. The replacement windows are the best value in the industry. The roof products we install are manufactured by the global leaders in residential roofing. The remodeling project are completed with quality workmanship. Today J & K Home Improvement has a dedicated office staff, 9 trained field specialists and supervisors and as many as 50 production crew members. J & K Home Improvement & Restoration offers the highest quality materials available and backs our workmanship with a ten year limited warranty.

"The homeowner didn't pay the final payment of $ 5587.71. The comment was about the price was too high. The homeowner didn't have to pay any amount out of pocket since it was insurance restoration. Actual reality the homeowner pocket $ 5587.71. We don't agree with her comment. If she did pay the job in full and had issues. We understand the issue she was stating. The total contract was for $ 16000. She only pay us $ 9730 and started to make excuses of repair damages. We were willing to work with her since we appreciate her working with us. She did submit repair invoices around $ 3000. (With review of her list she was able to only prove $ 800 worth of repair. Interior paint. We offer the service but she wanted to hire a handyman she knew) When we started to go over the item by item bases since we have to cause of the high repair invoice. She avoided us and kept the funds from the insurance company. We sent multiple request to contact us and letters. She didn't response. She also mention about her being a lady and tried to take advantages. That is false. We work with her son, he was very satisfied with us that was the reason that she contacted us. We also did communicated with her son. He didn't have any issues with us, and was apologetic on not getting paid full on the work that we have completed. We also was able to get BBB to get involve and BBB stood on our side on this matter. BBB response with "offer the service to resolve the issue with homeowner no response". We feel that we as a company try to please our client in reasonable matter. But if the client don't pay $ 5500 on the final payment and make statement about pay too much for the service? After the homeowner pocketed the funds from the insurance company. The complain about minor matter and make false statement about material that was install on her property. After she look at the material when it was delivered. (The label of the color was clearly display) We were surprise that homeowner was making a statement of we manufacturing the display on the material wrap. Outrageous remarks. Not pay the final payment. Not returning phone calls or response on letter. And stating that our sales guy was not available. This is false statement and we don't agree with her rating. Since the work wasn't even paid in full. She doesn't have any rights to make review on the company. She made complains to make excuses to pocket insurance funds. That is an insurance fraud. We are certified insurance company. Meaning we as a company performs work for certain insurance provider. The insurance company guarantees our work because of the workmanship and the service that we provide. To be in the certified contractor program, we go through lots of screening such as back ground check to review the past work site. We are also Master Elite contractor. Meaning we take pride and we perform great work. Our jobs are guaranteed by even a material manufactures. Please remove this review. We feel strongly disagree with the homeowner. We were going to purse the legal action on the homeowner. But we didn't because she was ill at the time. And her son was our satisfied customer. Maybe we should have. I, Brent Lee is the owner of the company, I set up the Angie's list account recently. I wasn't aware of this review until now. Thank you..."
