Located at 716 Grand Ave. Ingleside, IL 60041. We started our business servicing only Acura’s and Honda’s. Through the years our customers requested we work on their other vehicles they owned as well. Now we provide service for Domestics as well as Foreign cars. We saw how customers were being treated at the local dealerships. Customers were paying for work that wasn’t actually being done to the car and prices were unfair to the customer as well. He wanted to change all that to benefit the customer. Since Christoph's Automotive, and now known as MD Auto Solutions has been in business, they have won several awards for great service and satisfied customers, most recently they were recognized as one of the best shops in Chicagoland, by Chicago Magazine, and has also received recognition by Consumer's Checkbook. It was a difficult problem to diagnose and fix. Mike had to do a lot of research and had to try a number of things to find the cause of the problem. But he stuck with it and figured things out. I admire his dedication. And the billing for all his time was more than reasonable.

I highly recommend Christophs automobile to anyone in Libertyville and thesurrounding areas. Mike is very professional and understands the need to cost effectively and efficiently take care of my vehicle. He refers me to the dealership when appropriate, yet handles, the minor issues of a 2000 Honda accord with 160,000 miles on it. I cannot speak highly enough about this repair shop.

Mike and his team were some of the most professional and personable people I have ever met. From the first email down to the final inspection of the work done to my vehicle they were great. They got the work done on time, explained everything being done, open to ideas, extremely competitive with their pricing. I have decided to make them my go to mechanic as long as I live here. Huge supporters of the Military and toys for tots programs is a huge plus in my book!!!

I called in the morning to see if they could squeeze me in today or tomorrow. I got an appointment today and was able to wait for my car in the waiting room. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and my car was attended to immediately. The oil change and tire rotation went smoothly and I was on my way back home in less than an hour. I trust the mechanics at Christoph's. It is essential to have a mechanic who will be honest with you and do any repairs needed professionally. I ALWAYS bring my car to Christoph's and the work is always top notch!

They provided an estimate the last time I took the car in for an oil change. They asked me to give them a few days notice to get the parts which were ready when I brought the car in. I dropped the car off at 9:00 and it was ready by three at the cost I expected. My mother and I both bring our cars to them and I have a high degree of trust with Christoph's. They are very nice and cost effective.

Excellent!! These are people that are very attentive to their work and take a real pride in making sure the vehicle is running properly and that you, the customer, are satisfied with the final work. I've taken all my vehicles to them (4 total) but this last time was my GMC K3500 dually. This is a very large vehicle that others really don't like working on. When I got the vehicle to Christoph's automotive, they spent the time to go over my truck carefully and provide me with very accurate diagnoses of the problems and solutions. It turned out that there were several things that were done incorrectly at previous auto repair shops. Having taken my truck to other mechanics, I can tell you that the professionals at Christoph's are very knowledgeable and the prices very fair. In the end, I was given several options of how I could proceed on the repairs and the cost associated with each option. In the end, I always go with the most complete options because I am someone who really wants my vehicles to run as perfect as possible. In the future, I will definitely trust my vehicles only to Christoph's Automotive, thanks!

One of the electrical outlets stopped working in my car. At the dealership they wanted $100 for diagnosis, and $110 for one hour labor. Michael just did it for $51.50. It's actually the second time that Michael saved me a bundle. For car repair, I am not going anywhere else ever again... ever! And if you think I sound like an "advertisement", I learned about Christoph's from my boss and a friend at work, and they are very happy with him as well.

Excellent service! Our 2006 Acura MDX was getting very loud and we knew the exhaust system was in need of repair. Christoph's has been our repair shop of choice for many years and is always fair and reliable. Mike, the owner, personally put our car on the lift and showed us where the exhaust was rusted through on both sides and suggested options for repair. Since the MDX has just over 100,000 miles on it, it wasn't unreasonable that the exhaust system was due for replacement. Mike gave us a quote for the work, he ordered the parts and we scheduled the service. Mike did the work on time, within the quote, and we are very happy with his work. We also had him change the oil and repair a tire with a slow leak while the car was in his shop. Not only is the quality of the work at Christophs excellent, but the people are very pleasant and the shop waiting area is neat, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend their work without hesitation.

I have been going to Christoph's Automotive for over 20 years. There service has always been very good, honest, and reasonably priced.They have serviced 3 Honda automobiles for me. I have just purchased a new Acura and will take it to Christoph's for all service work.

1) Hoping to replace only fan, but mechanic (Mike) explained that Toyota only sells it an one entire assembly. Done by end of day as promised (actually sooner), which was important.
2) Bought new car (used) and had Mike check it out for me. Work done very quickly on a tough weather day in Chicago area. I was in and out in 1.5 hours.

Completed work as promised and on time. Mike also reviewed the warning lights that appeared just prior to my scheduled service,determined the diagnostic trouble code, and provided excellent advice on how to resolve the issue. Based on Mike's advice I was able to get the issue resolved by a local dealer at no cost.

He almost takes a personal interest in my car. Whenever I bring it in he always gives it a free once over to make sure everything is okay. I would highly recommend him and have been using him for years. He goes above and beyond in the personal experience.

From the moment I called to make an appointment to the moment I left Christoph's, I was nothing but impressed! Darrell Christoph and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are extremely reasonable. It was easy to get an appointment, too - I called on Monday and had my choice of coming in the following day, Wednesday or Thursday. In addition to the great service, they give a free oil change to customers who refer new customers! I will recommend Christoph's Automotive to everyone I know. They are the type of auto repair business you dream about!
