It took several call backs to get it right, but installers were polite and let me know what they were doing and why. It was important to me that the instal was not done by a company who screened ( finger print and background check) the people who were going to come in my home.

I went through several a/c companies in search of who we would chose on our new a/c. Sears ran the other companies over by a long shot. I will recommend too anyone that is in need of a new a/c to go with sears. The guys that came out to install the unit where great! Even in 100+ degree temps.. They put in a lot of effort in to making sure it was done correctly. Thank you!!

I had trouble getting them to come back and fix the electricity in the bathroom that went out when they were here, and when they finally came 3 weeks later, they said it was not something they did but a wiring issue. I had to pay to have it fixed...not happy.

The install was quick and professional. I did however find out during the inspection from the city inspector that my fuse box should have been updated with the installation. I am now experiencing some flickering when the air conditioner kicks on

Entire HVAC system including heat pump was installed. I feel that the Sears reputation and equipment quality was worth the extra cost. Top notch installers were respectful of my property and very knowledgable.

Over all we were very happy with the experience. I took away half a star on customer service because the sales guy said they'd be out by Saturday morning at the latest but they didn't actually get to us until Tuesday. And that was a hot weekend! I gave four stars on the price because they offered a wi-fi thermostat for for over twice what it's listed at on their own website! So I suspect in general we probably over paid. But we love the system. It works great! All in all, worth the money.

The sales representative, installer, and management team out of Richmond, VA did not provide consistent information. The job was scheduled to take around a week; it instead took nearly three weeks because of inconsistent information and disagreement among the Richmond, VA Staff. Efficiency and organization are not this location's strong point.
