About us
My grandmother, Mary and grandfather, Mihron started this business over 100 years ago. I can only imagine what they’d think of our operation today! My grandfather would be thrilled to see we’ve continued in the loose rug cleaning and repairing segment of the industry, and I’m sure he’d be amazed by how far our in-home carpet cleaning business has advanced. One thing that hasn’t changed is our dedication to the customer. Dedication to customer service is what has grown our business into what it is today. My grandparents insisted on strong customer service, and they passed that on to my father, Herbert who instilled that priority in me as well. I am passing that on to the future 4th Generation and teaching them that Customer Service is the most important aspect of our business. That’s what drives us. In addition, our dedicated employees are the foundation of our business and we have been gifted with many long time employees who hold our values of true customer Service.

"Sorry your Pottery Barn type rugs glue disintegrated and the results were a white powder. Some clients think we did this but our cleaning does not manufacture the rug, just cleans it. As for the backing problem, which you did not state, Koshgarian Rug Cleaners, Inc, put a new backing on your rug with High Quality Latex glue, not the type of low quality glue that was originally on your rug at no extra cost to you. Also, we had to wait for you to repay us since you stopped your check in order to complete the work order. We do not damage rugs, we clean them. Thanks for your patronage. Koshgarian Rug did a great job cleaning my rugs - and I was concerned because they are very pricey rugs. I didn't realize how dirty they had gotten until I had then back - definitely brought out the colors in the rugs. They also have some great specials ... which is something to look out for. I would definitely use them again.

"Not sure why we did not receive all A's. Our counter person was unsure what the best repair was for your rug and needed t investigate it with our repair man. Doesn't sound so unreasonable to me? As for our prices, we were the lowest which is what you were looking for with the repair anyway. You wanted to spend the cheapest amount of money for a professional restoration. Price was the deciding factor. Well we covered all you were looking for so we should get A's!"
"Our truck starts with 100 gallons of water. When we run out of fresh water we need to fill it up so we can clean your carpeting. The truck heats the water when we have water in our tank. We always have hot water when we have fresh water in our tank. Dog oils are a problem and we are more than willing to come back to your home after 30 days for free. All you have to do is call the office."

"Thank you for your response and review of our company. First and foremost, we apologize that you were not happy with the cleaning results you received on December 20, 2011. The men were scheduled with plenty of time in the day to perform your job, infact you were their first job of the day for which they arrived at 8:00AM and were not under any time constraints. They should have not had any problems performing whatever you required to complete your job to your satisfaction. If you wanted furniture moved, they were there to move the furniture. We were there for you to direct us what you would like cleaned. All you have to do is tell them what you wanted moved and they would have moved it. We did move some specified pieces of furniture, because the men found a permanent stain under a trunk as noted on your receipt. As far as your Christmas tree, I am not 100% sure what you mean for us to tell you? Sorry, I am lost there. Unless what you are saying is. Koshgarian's was not able to clean under the tree because it was set up and when you took the tree down there was an area (spot as you're calling it) that had not been cleaned. If so, all you had to do was call and we would have come over and cleaned that area after the tree was taken down. In regards to your edges in your bedroom, your invoice is checked off for soil filtration along edges, which is probably the "dirt" your speaking of. This was cleaned, but is very difficult if not impossible to get out. Soil filtration is caused by air passing through or across the carpet and being trapped, like an air filter, mainly along edges and where floors meet walls. The soil is a fine line and can penetrate deep into the yarns of the carpeting. Unfortunately, the discoloration cannot always be removed. There are methods, but no guarantees. We also left a review card for you to fill out stapled to your receipt and we did not receive it with any of your concerns as noted on this Angies List review. Also, we contact every client by telephone 1-2 days after we perform their job assignment and ask how the work came out and how the men performed. If we do not speak to a client because no one was home, we leave a voicemail and give them an opportunity to call us back. According to our records we show no negative response from your phone interview nor did we ever recieived a card from you. You did ask for our best or experienced crew and we sent Dylan, who is certified by the IICRC in carpet and upholstery cleaning and very rarely if ever, receives a negative complaint. All we can say is we are sorry you were unhappy with Koshgarian Rug Cleaners, Inc. If we would have received a negative response from your hand written reply card mailed to our office or a negative response from our quality control phone call, we would have come back and re-done the job until you were satisfied. Sonny will be contacting you today to attempt to satisfy your cleaning needs, even though it is 6 months after the scheduled work assignment. We want you happy and satisfied with our services and hope you will be satisfied with our response to this complaint. We never want to receive an F. Again, thank you for your input and comments.
