Scheduled the service through Costco and was given a good speech about what they can do and how wonderful they are, everything told to me made me schedule a service with them. I needed to replace a panel and put one with a window on it. The guy at the Costco Kiosk told me they service any door and can replace any parts for any manufacturer. On the day of the service the guy showed up and started taking measurements and at the end i told him what i needed to get done, he took a look at the door manufacturer and said they do not deal with clopay.I had taken half a day to wait for these guys to show up for the appointment and was unhappy to find out they do have clopay replacement panels nor deal with Craftsman keypads. The sales guy gave me his card and asked him to call the office, which i did spoke to a manager who told me that he could do the clopay door and what was told to me was not correct. He then told me he will contact the rep and get back to me. He never got back to me and today i contacted them and spoke to the director of sales who was rude and told me what was told was wrong. I told him that his people are giving me wrong information all over, for which he had no answer. All he had to say was let me see what i can do. Then i went to their website which shows that they deal with clopay. Called back and they said they do but to get parts it takes long time. They kept feeding me stories upon stories. Got tired of it and did not want to deal with them anymore. Overall total experience was a Solid F,. total waste of time and no one in the company has clarity of what they do. Very painful experience but glad did not get any installs done.

They showed up on the appointed date and got to work right away. Very professional people. They removed the existing door, rails, trim and other compnents and installed the door complete with new trim in approx 3 hours. They asked us to give them a call if we experienced any problems. The door works fine. We have had no reason to call them yet.

The service guy replaced the panel and adjusted the garage door itself. Also, added support to the panel. He did a great job. There was an issue with the scheduling once for a day in the morning that they were supposed to come out. Once they were here, they were great.

My original all wood door (16 x 7) was being replaced with an insulated Clopay door with windows. The two-man team arrived on schedule and immediately got to work. They completed the job in about an hour and a half and did a nice cleanup job. They also advised that I did not need to replace my garage door opener, although they did have to relocate it to accommodate the new door installation. I hadn't used my opener keypad in 5 years, and they took the time to replace the battery and show me how to reprogram a new code. They also waited while I checked that all of my remotes (hand and car) still worked after the installation was completed.

The initial installation was postponed due to a problem with the installer. Once that was resolved, the doors were installed. One of the openers was broken and another installation visit was required to install that. Then a third visit was required to install hardware and trim that was forgotten. the doors were ordered through Costco and we were charged twice for them, once through Costco.com and once through Door Pro via the local Costco. Door Pro America is not responding to our calls about the duplicate charges and disputes have been filed with American Express. The quality of the product is fine but dealing with this company has been challenging and i would not recommend them.

puntual and frank T. imediately started to get to work he removed the old door and prep the new door and all the while he was polite The moment the job become intense I removed myself to allow from being a distraction although this guy could have done this work with his eyes closed. My explanation of this job doesn't give it any justice. I'm sure any challage he is up against he can complete. Door pro is aware of who they hire and they hire professionals.

We are probably going to go with them but we just haven't had the time. They came out and gave us an estimate. Everything was fine. I think they appeared to be fine. We didn't spend any money on the estimate. It was fine and basically they gave me an estimate more than a year ago, and we never went ahead with it because we were doing other projects. They just came out again and I just wanted to make sure that the estimate was the same. I was checking the door colors and it was pretty boring. They were going to give me the same price that they quoted me a year ago and so I was just double checking Angie's list to make sure that their reviews were still good before I decided to go with them. I checked their reviews and I think that their prices are good. They are very responsive in coming out and they'll come whenever you want them to. They kind of work with your schedule. They were really good about coming when I needed them to come. Some companies give you like a window but they don't do that. They come when they say they are going to come. So it was fine. They were great and fine. They came pretty much within a day or two. We are probably going to deal with them. We just spent all the money on our vacation and so we are waiting for sometime. We will use their services again in the future.

We chose Door Pro America because of their relationship with Costco and because they are on Angie's List. The salesman who came to our house to measure and give us a quote was pleasant and knowledgeable. The price was set by Costco and there were no hidden charges. The installation went extremely well. The installer was great and completed the job in a short time. The door worked perfectly without requiring any adjustment. We are very pleased with the door and the opener and the quality of the installation. We would recommend them to others.

There is one cautionary note, however. The sales representative at Costco had advised us to use the new CFL bulb in the opener, instead of an incandescent bulb, in order to reduce heat generated by the incadescent bulb, and to avoid melting the plastic covering. When the installer placed the CFL bulb in the socket, it did not work. The installer said this had happened quite frequently. We checked the opener manual which states to use ONLY incandescent bulbs. So, buyers beware.

Saw a saleswoman at Costco, offerring a discount on the doors and scheduled an appointment to discuss with a company representative. The estimator showed on time, if not a few minutes early and he gave an estimate and we picked a color. Price was good and we thought we had picked a color to match the exterior of the house. Unfortuntaley, we did not take the sample door color down stairs to see if it matched the exterior. When the door showed up, it was the wrong color. The installer was very helpful and got us the gith color door and installed it the next week. There have not been any issues with the door or the installation. I really do appreciate the installer's willingness to get us the right door color to match the exterior.

Doors have to come from east coast and when there are ready I get a phone call to schedule install.
On day of appointment installers arrive and start installation. After two hours they let me know there is a problem with getting my garage door openers to work with the new doors. I point out that they installed 12' radius tracks and not low over head tracks. They leave me with working doors but not with the openers installed. Call their corporate office in Virginia and explain situation. They schedule to send another installer the next day. He comes out say he can't fix the garage door openers, they didn't send him with the right tracks. Talk to corporate again, they schedule another install to come out on saturday. Installer is a no show because he blew the engine on his truck while driving to my place. Reschedule for the next saturday. Installer arrives and puts in the correct track, gets one door working with garage door opener. Still have one door not working right. Have to talk to corporate again. They end up sending the regional install manager, he fixes the door in a half hour.

The salesperson who initially came to the house was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave us sufficient information to make a decision about exactly what to order, as well as how the garage needed to be prepared for the installation, and he measured the door space. He said I had to be available for the entire day, 8AM-5PM, for the installation. I told him it was extremely important for the installation to be done on time, since I had a heavy schedule the following week. After several phone calls, I managed to schedule a follow-up visit for him to check the garage to be sure it was ready for the installation so there would be no possibility of any delay. He said everything was fine. An installation person showed up on time on a Friday. He explained that the installation could not be done that day, since the doors had not been cut to the right dimensions. The error arose from the fact that the garage is over thirty years old, and different in some respects from a more recent structure. In other words, a company that advertises itself as having been in business since 1971 was derailed by a very standard garage built in 1976. I made several more phone calls and was told that the doors would be cut on Saturday and installed on Monday. I called again on Monday, after clearing my schedule for that day, and was told that the installation would not be done until Tuesday. The installation on Tuesday went smoothly. The doors have worked well for two months; however, the opener now has an intermittent problem with the safety sensors, so it's sometimes necessary to hold down the switch until the door closes completely. This is a common problem and easily fixed, but I needed to be shown how to do it. I scheduled a repair visit and was told to be available from 12-5PM the following Friday. Nobody came. I called the office before 4PM Pacific time and got a message that they were closed. The answering system was very bad, with no way to leave a message for customer service. I later learned that the office responsible for scheduling is in Virginia. I spoke to the original salesman, who apologized profusely and offered to facilitate a repair visit as quickly as possible. He later told me the local installation people had no record of the scheduled repair call. I asked for a phone number to reach the installation people, and told him I had no interest in any further dealings with the Virginia office. He gave me the number and assured me he would take steps personally to improve communications within the company. I am submitting a copy of this report to Costco in the hope that something will be done to improve administrative support for the field workers, who do a good job.

We contacted this service through our local Costco. The salesmen for Doorpro America was not professional or nice. He had the slimy car salesman kind of attitude that did not give us much comfort, however because we knew what we wanted and counted on Costco's guarantee we decided to use their services. The service guys were excellent and the job was done promptly and on time. I am very happy with the quality of the new door and the opener. It has made a huge difference in our home.
