Excellent. The crew show up at 0700, by 0900 my driveway was totally stellar. The process was orchestrated by the organized foreman with effective supervision. Every gentleman that showed up had a specific role in the paving process. Very neat and clean. The asphalt bordered a front walkway, patio and BBQ area; all the lines where asphalt and concrete met were precisely jointed. Bravo to Irish Castle Paving.

Our driveway paving project couldn’t have been more seamless! Although we experienced a few “snags” in the process working with the village to approve plans, we couldn’t have asked for a better TEAM to be on our side in getting plans approved and moving forward...Pat, Don , and his crew were a breath of fresh air to work with...professional, respectful and never once made us feel that we were nothing short of their favorite client?...Always prompt in responding to our questions throughout the process...price point was fair and delivered with quality and efficiency...SO GLAD we made the choice to work with Irish Castle!

Pat and his crew were absolutely awesome! He did everything we agreed to and even went the extra mile when we had an issue with our garbage company. He removed and replaced approximately 10,000 square feet of asphalt and also installed a concrete slab. Extremely professional, courteous, and awesome communication!! Pat and his crew were great. The dimensions of our driveway is about 33x22, was majorly cracked, and had two small drains that kept getting clogged which led to our garage flooding whenever it rained. Irish Castle removed the existing asphalt, laid new asphalt, and installed two trench drains that spanned the entire width of our driveway. It has rained twice since they completed the job and not a drop has made it in our garage.

I found Irish Castle Paving through Angie's list and based on the good reviews contacted Pat. Pat and his team did an excellent job. I obtained the permit from the city ahead of the work and Pat coordinated the rest. The work was very professional and clean. It is about a year now and I got the seal coating done through his offer that came as part of the work. George did a a great job with that too. Based on my experience, I definitely recommend his services.

Once they came over and gave me a driveway quote I found out they also did concrete work, even though they don't really talk about concrete all that much on their website, but they do concrete work as well. It's pretty much the same comments as on the asphalt driveway. The company owner, Pat, is very easy to work with, and had some good ideas as how to handle some minor details that I thought were going to be difficult.

Pat and the men that came out to work on our driveway were professional and friendly. We got a quote right away and did not even need to put a deposit down. Pat took care of the permit for us and kept in touch through e-mails and phone. The price was reasonable and they did a great job! I would highly recommend them.

It took 4 months and 1 day from start to finish to get the driveway replaced. So far, I’m very happy with the work the crews did. We will have to wait and see whether the driveway holds up longer than the 3-year warranty. The low grades are the result of the contractor’s haphazard oversight of the project and communication with me. I could give you the complete 4-month timeline, but that's overkill. The point is that communication was poor at best. To improve these grades, Pat needs an answering service so that callers to his office don't have to repeat themselves multiple times to someone who speaks English as a second language. He also needs to define, review and/or refine his processes. In my experience, contractors handle everything having to do with permits, but not so in this case. I think Pat, who was on site with the work crew finishing our job, has a business that has grown beyond his ability to do everything himself. He is a personable and friendly individual, but he needs a support staff so he can concentrate on whatever it is he wants to do.

"[Member Name Removed] We really appreciate your input and would like to thank you for your bussiness. Your project did have a few bumps along the way. The length of the project was unusual for a couple reasons. When we initially applied for the permit it was denied from the village. The village felt that your original driveway if replaced in the same footprint would not meet their new codes. Thats where I needed you to intervene to make your case to the village, which you did. This took sometime and the village did finally approve it. Another factor was the condition of the driveway once it was excavated. The drive was wet and soft underneath. In these cases we recommend that the gravel drive sit exposed. This will allow for the ground to dry and firm up. Once the drive has settled and firmed up it is good to pave. This did take a little longer than usual due to the condition of the ground. We did finish the drive and stand by our work. We apologize for our communications interruption. My mother answers the calls in the office and does speak English. She is from Ireland and has an accent which might make it difficult to understand. We did also have problems with our email communications. Our website was under construction which caused interruption. These are not excuses for your experience but I felt the need to explain the unusual circumstances of your project. We do quality work and I hope over time that this will overshadow any other experiences you had. Thank you again for the input and we will try to implement your suggestion in the future. Pat"

Had to repeat my information to receptionist two times. Told receptionist my availability is 6pm M-F or weekends (told her that 2 times also). Someone called saying they would come by around 12ish . Told him no good, has to be 6pm or weekend. Rescheduled for 6pm on weekday Guy never showed up but called around 8pm apologizing that the rain caused problems with his schedule. Said if we were still interested to call back. We never did.
