"I am sorry you were not completely satisfied with the service. We pride ourselves on quality service as we hope to gain the referrals of your friends and family in the future. We would have gladly provided you with a written estimate if you had requested one. In this industry, it is not common to do so unless it is an insurance claim. You were elated with our price, especially when we offered them to you at the sale price a week later. We offered to exchange the doors with our distributor for the correct size the day of installation and you informed our installers that you did not mind it, after all, your existing doors were the incorrect size as well. Our distributor was only a few miles from your home and we would have gladly taken the time to make the exchange if we knew it would have bothered you after installation was complete. We never blamed anyone else. It was an honest mistake in measuring; the main mistake being that he measured the existing door versus the actual opening. I do appreciate your positive feedback on the quality of work we provided. We understand this day was not typical for us and we likely did not meet your expectations and for that we sincerely apologize."
