They are doing a good job. There are no bugs and cockroaches in our dormitory. They are punctual, thorough and very professional. I never had any problems with them.

Will use this service only in the future if any pest return.

They are very good. We had an ant problem. They came out and sprayed and we haven't seen an ant since.

I spent $55 every three months.  They are prompt and they do a good job.  We don’t have any problems with bugs.  I have never checked any other prices.  I am happy with the price I pay.  I would use them in the future.

I have some properties they do quarterly pest treatments on. Their work is great but not the best in price  but reasonable. I will continue to use them.

They charge a set amount but then if you have problems they come over for free.  Our service guy is really good.

I've used them for 20 years. I have been very happy with them. I lived at my old home for 10 years and I actually did have termites. They put the things in the ground and checked them. They are a hometown, family-owned small business. Their price wasn’t outrageous and it was affordable. They were very friendly and very thorough. If I was home, they would knock on the door and ask if I had any questions. I would use them again.

I like them.  They were recommended to us by other people in our neighborhood.

They charge quarterly.  Everything is excellent.  They come every three months.  He calls me and set a time that is convenient for both of us.  He comes out for things to work.  I never had to call them before

Raney has been in the Bloomington-Normal area for a very long time and they keep records of all the houses they've been to. So even if you haven't used them before, they might have visited your house previously.  We had a pleasant conversation after the Raney representative checked the house. The house check was thorough but not obsessive.  He was not into a hard sell like some other bug/termite companies might be.  He just told us that there didn't seem to be a problem.  The price for the service was less than other companies, too.

Punctual arrival by courteous professional. Very thorough, very knowledgeable service performed on main floor, basement & attic of home. Very upbeat despite extreme heat. Would recommend to anyone requiring pest services.

It went as well as it could have. The problem was less severe than I thought, and they told me how to fix it myself, as their services were not necessary.

Chris, our technician for East Peoria, has been super! He comes once every 3 months. American Pest has a guarantee that we will not have a mice or pest problem. We had an annoying set of sibling mice taking residence in our attic and Chris came 3 times to "solve" the problem. He hauled away any dead mice he could find. It did take him a week to come out the first time after I called (due to his route), but was quick once here. [We had not been able to sleep for several nights when we called due to the mice running in the walls/attic of our home... waiting a week at that point was miserable! Hence why I gave the "C", return service and phone calls have been suburb!] We have scheduled him to come before work in the morning, and he has offered to come during the day while we are at work. We have his cell phone number if issues arise, but he calls us every 3 months to set an appointment time for our insect spray service/check for mice. It has been so worth it to pay the $75 to have someone deal with crawling in our attic and dealing with the mice, something that we could not rid of ourselves with all sorts of contraptions from Lowe's and Ace Hardware. I will say that we have seen a decrease of pests inside the home (not that it was a huge issue before). Chris shared that the spray is safe for our dog to be around and dries quickly. It leaves no odor or residue that I can smell/see. When the mice return inbetween scheduled appointments, Chris was able to come out and set more posion. He offered to "step things up a notch" if he mice stayed around, which they did not. (Whew!) We have overslept for our morning appointment before, and Chris took it with stride. Luckily I awoke while he was spraying the outside of the house (never heard the doorbell!), so he was able to finish the job inside w/o rescheduling half the appointment. He is respectful and takes his shoes off inside the home (nobody wants mouse poo on the carpet). We pay $70 every three months for American Pest Control to come out and spray our house exterior and interior (only in areas we are okay with- they respect my wishes not to spray in the bedrooms!), as well as go into our attic to check the mice traps/bait. I can say that I cannot recall seeing one bug inside the home. I hate bugs. Kudos to American Pest!!!

He arrived on time and was courteous. We went together through the basement and the garage. He looked under the porches. He did not find any new pest damage but found previous damage that had been handled. He did not pressure me into buying any kind of service plan. He told me what the company would do, a general estimate and gave me the option to think about it. Raney uses Sentricon and suggests a one year contract with a five year follow up plan. This company has been working in Bloomington-Normal since 1960 so he has records on all the houses that Raney has worked on since then. He brought records of work on our house by a previous owner. Very thorough! Highly recommended

We used them for quarterly maintenance. They handled any issues that we reported and did a good job. Our experience with them was very positive. Their price was a little more than what we wanted to pay, and that was the reason we stopped using them. The quality of their work was fine, though.

It costs $65 a year. They will call to remind you about your annual home termite inspection. The guy who comes out is really professional and on time. He will let you schedule for whatever time you want to do it. He?ll do the inspection and point out if there are other things that you need to know, like bug spray, for example. I do like them a lot.

After a few years of the termite inspections with the bait traps around the yard, we decided to cancel the inspection, partly due to the economy, but partly due to the fact that while they did appear to come and check the bait traps (and we haven't had any termites) and leave a note that they inspected the traps, the traps themselves are starting to fall apart, probably due to being run over by the mower too many times. However, they have never offered to replace the broken traps, either at their or our expense. We didn't call about it, I thought the person checking the traps would have some write-up about it since they were checking it quarterly, but it was never brought up by the checker either. We canceled the service and still have the remaining bait traps in the yard and now I have to find out how to get rid of them, or what we do with them. We didn't think to ask those questions when we canceled the service, so we'll have to call back and find out what to do. While I do think American Pest Control is a good company, and their in-home service techs are professional and clean, we couldn't justify paying that much money for bait traps only.
